00:00The Philippine Navy has been monitoring the number of Chinese vessels in the West Philippine Sea for the longest time.
00:07Let's hear from Chino Gaston.
00:10You are endangering the safety of our crew and passengers.
00:13According to the Philippine Navy, the Chinese helicopter made a dangerous maneuver
00:17when the B-4 airplane was about to land and land on it.
00:21It was a maritime patrol in Bajo de Masinloc or Panatagchol.
00:24They are unsafe maneuvers, they are uncalled for, unprofessional.
00:30We leave it up to the B-4 to issue the appropriate official statement on that.
00:34But again, actions like this have no place in the aviation industry.
00:39In the latest monitoring of the Philippine Navy,
00:4212 Chinese ships passed through Bajo de Masinloc.
00:46But there are more in Ayungin Shoal where the DRP Sierra Madre crashed.
00:5172 Chinese vessels are in Ayungin Shoal in total.
00:55From the 7 Chinese militia vessels there, it reached 62.
01:01Our soldiers in the DRP Sierra Madre have high morale.
01:06They are used to the numbers around them and they are happy to perform their mandate.
01:10But more were killed in Escoda Shoal where the DRP Teresa Magbanua was forced to leave.
01:1816 China Coast Guard and 55 Chinese militia vessels are guarding the Chinese Navy warships.
01:25There were 11 warships from the previous 4 warships only.
01:28In total, from September 17 to 23,
01:31251 Chinese vessels were spotted in different parts of the West Philippine Sea.
01:36Most of them since the Philippine Navy started monitoring.
01:40This is the biggest increase.
01:42From 157, it went down a bit, then it went up to 251.
01:46For whatever reason, I don't want to speculate on that,
01:49we continue monitoring, we continue performing our mandate.
01:52But this doesn't mean that China has already controlled Escoda Shoal.
01:57And we have to continue pushing back against this because the international law is behind us.
02:02The only thing necessary for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing.
02:07The only thing necessary to legitimize the presence of the PLA in the West Philippine Sea
02:15is for the Philippine instrumentality in the maritime domain to stop performing its mandate.
02:20The Philippines' military will continue to strengthen.
02:24Two fast-attack interdiction crafts from Israel arrived that can destroy missiles.
02:30Designed for high-speed operations featuring advanced missile systems and sophisticated onboard technology,
02:37which enhances the Philippine Navy's capability to conduct rapid and effective maritime interdiction operations.
02:44The arrival of these vessels underscores the continued modernization of the Philippine Navy.
02:49At the Quad Leaders' Meeting in America,
02:51the leaders of Japan, India, and Australia were present.
02:54US President Joe Biden mentioned the issue in the South China Sea.
02:59China continues to behave aggressively, testing us all across the region.
03:03And it's true in the South China Sea, the East China Sea, South Asia, and Taiwan Straits.
03:10The Chinese Foreign Ministry's answer is that America should stop its use and control of other countries to counter China.
