Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed the notion of peace talks with Moscow on Tuesday, calling instead for unspecified global “action” to force Russia into peace for invading his country and to comply with the U.N. Charter’s requirement that every country respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all other nations.

00:16On the night of March 4, 2022, I received one of the most terrifying reports in the
00:22beginning of a full-scale Russian invasion against Ukraine.
00:28The report was about Russian tanks firing directly at the buildings of our Ukrainian
00:34nuclear power plant, the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant, the largest one in Europe, six
00:42nuclear reactors.
00:44The Russian army stormed this facility just as brutally as any other during this war,
00:53without thinking about the consequences, possibly disasters.
00:59This was one of the most horrifying moments of the war, when no one could know how Russian
01:07strikes on the nuclear facility would end, and everyone in Ukraine was reminded of what
01:13Chernobyl means.
01:16Now the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant remains occupied by Russian forces.
01:23Unfortunately, and it's at risk of a nuclear incident.
01:29This is the major source of radiation danger in Europe, possibly in the world.
01:35That's why in the peace formula I presented, the first point is about nuclear safety.
01:43In Ukraine, we know exactly what we are dealing with.
