00:00Let's just keep on that international side. I feel like there's a way in which we can
00:08kind of sort through to see who would pair best together. The interesting thing about
00:14when you look at the international team is that it would be super easy to put the guys
00:19that hang out and play with each other the most. And I think that it's safe to assume
00:25that putting a guy like, whether it be Si Woo Kim and Sung Jae Im together, that seems
00:32like it would make sense. They speak the same language. They're good friends. That's kind
00:38of the way I seem to want to go and see Jason Day playing with a Min Woo Lee. That just
00:44makes sense in my mind, or a Min Woo Lee with an Adam Scott. That would get me excited.
00:50I sure would love to see Day and Min Woo Lee on that team, because they would show
00:54up with some swag. Oh, without a doubt. I mean, I think the interesting thing in looking
01:00through the stats pack that you sent over is looking at the difference in what you can
01:06just gather from a treetop strategy perspective of how both sides do their pairings. Like
01:14on the American side, you can look through and it's like, yeah, it's clear that once
01:18guy found his partner, he played the majority of matches with that guy. Whereas there's
01:21definitely on the international side, more of a mix. Now, maybe part of that is you're
01:26getting beat a lot. You're trying new stuff. And so there's naturally going to have to
01:29be a, that partnership didn't work. We try the next one. And I also think that, that
01:34there is this interesting thing happening where, you know, Jason Day was on the 11,
01:3813, 15 and 17 teams, but wasn't on the 19 team or the 22 team. And then you go right
01:44down. Some JM wasn't on any of those previous teams, but he was on the 19 and 22 teams.
01:49So just looking for patterns, there's not necessarily a ton there for some of guys of
01:54how you're going to kind of mix them together. I like what you've just thrown out from the
01:58gate, which is, you know, let's, let's first and foremost get men will leave with an experienced
02:03Aussie, whether that's Adam or Jason day, I think both kind of suit. And then from there
02:08it's, you know, are we going to try to throw out, you know, like a big hitter,
02:14like a Taylor Pendrith? That's an interesting one. Good putter. Like a McKenzie Hughes. Are
02:18you like, that's your Canadian combo there? Taylor was over for that last president's cup
02:22and he was so poor. And that's the one to me is, is that if you would have told me that
02:28Taylor was the guy that made this team over Nick Taylor and Adam had one, I would tell
02:32you you're crazy at the beginning of the year, but he's been playing so well. I think Taylor
02:37Pendrith could be a horse for the international team if he stays in that form. But I'm not sure
02:44if this is the type of golf horse that maybe quite suits his game as much, uh, seems to be maybe a
02:50bit of more of an accuracy test. Um, not to say that he doesn't hit it accurate. It just seems
02:54like he would be a player that would play better on a bigger park. Although he was owing for a
02:58quail hollow, which I would consider to be a very big part. Yeah. So he played, he played with
03:03Mito Pereira. He played with Corey Connors and he played with Hideki Matsuyama. And so he kind
03:09of kind of mixed there, you know, I, I guess with Mito and Corey, he only lost one down,
03:13but then with Hideki, he loses four and three to JT and Jordan. Um, and then he like, you know,
03:19so we talked a little bit about Adam and, and, and, uh, Jason day, but looking at a guy like
03:23Hideki Matsuyama, who's obviously been in good form of late, uh, he played with Adam and lost,
03:30and I guess he lost one, one, one lost to can't lay in Xander, uh, beat Cam young and call him
03:36or Akawa play with Tom Kim lost that match. And we've just mentioned play with Taylor Pendereth
03:41lost that match. So like finding a partner for Hideki, you know, I'm wondering if it's,
03:45do you stick him with a vet like they did to kind of varying success of quail hollow with Adam Scott,
03:51or are you trying to pair him with a young guy because he has experience in this competition?
03:56Yeah, I, I think Adam's going to be so easy to pair. You know, he's going to play, right. It's
04:02just a matter of like, who's the guy that we want to get comfortable. Um, and I imagine that he would
04:07be playing with somebody that's probably much more on the rookie side, or do they go with a
04:12Hideki? Like you were just talking about, who's got a ton of, who's had a ton of success. One
04:17player. I know we've kind of talked a little bit earlier about, uh, guys that, that didn't make
04:22the United States team mentioned Billy Horschel, Akshay, JT, um, this international team, uh,
04:29mentioned some Canadians. I mentioned Adam had mentioned Nick Taylor. Those are the big surprises
04:33of two guys that didn't make it. But one guy, um, I really am surprised that he's not on this team
04:39is Cam Davis. Yeah. After, I mean, so what, when's the rocket mortgage on that? Right. I think that
04:46was, that was the, where, where Akshay came up short. Um, yeah, to me, that's a guy that I, I
04:53guess you just have to kind of see what the strategy is. Once it kind of unfolds and my
04:57career puts his teams together to see who he's pairing, where, but it seems like a guy, like,
05:02maybe you're feeling like you're duplicating too much between him and a Taylor Pendrith.
05:06I just profile player. I don't know. I just felt like Cam Davis was good at the last president's
05:11cup. Um, to me, he's got, he's got, he's got a lot of high quality shots in his game. Um, he's
05:20very impressive when you watch him. I just felt like that, you know, with him, with Mike, we're
05:26taking McKenzie taking also Min Wu, like those two guys, I felt like, you know, maybe didn't
05:33earn their way on the team or just, you know, didn't have the, quite as much of a benefit of
05:37the doubt as a guy that I felt like Nick Taylor's had success, you know, maybe, you know, Adam had
05:43one has played on these teams as well, but then Cam Davis just seemed like an up and comer that
05:48was surprised to not see him make this team. So I think that definitely kind of begs a question of
05:54what is Mike, we're going to do with his lineup because he has to have a plan to me for Taylor
06:01he's got to have a plan for men. We, we, and I think he's got to have a plan for McKenzie Hughes,
06:08um, as well as I think see beds as well. Like I think he needs like going into this,
06:12when you look at this roster, I think all four of those guys have the capabilities
06:18of, of making an image and making a serious impact.
