00:00One of the marquee matchups of a Sunday afternoon in the National Football League season.
00:08Week number three, DRS, a time to learn a lot about all of these teams around the NFL,
00:14and that was on full display in Dallas.
00:17The Cowboys, one and one, getting hammered at home week number two against New Orleans.
00:23The Baltimore Ravens, with outlook to try to be a Super Bowl champion, they came into
00:29this game 0-2, winless.
00:32We have never seen a team start 0-3 in NFL history and win a Super Bowl.
00:38That was what was at stake for the Ravens on Sunday at the Star.
00:43And Baltimore holds on behind an outstanding rushing effort from Derrick Henry, two touchdowns
00:49and more than a buck.
00:5050, Lamar Jackson, 87 yards on the ground and a score, and although it got a little
00:55dicey in Dallas late, the Ravens do pick up their first win of the season and cover
01:01as a point-and-a-half road favorite in Dallas.
01:04Look at the offensive structure here for the Baltimore Ravens, Ben, 12 of 15 for Lamar
01:08Jackson, one touchdown pass, no interceptions, a passer rating of 139.
01:12Look at that running game, 45 carries, 274 yards, 6.1 yards per carry, three total touchdowns.
01:21If you just would have done this last year, Baltimore, in the AFC Championship game, you'd
01:26have a ring on your finger.
01:28You would have hosted the Kansas City Chiefs on opening night.
01:30You would have had a banner in your building, but that's neither here nor there.
01:34They finally got on track with the way the Ravens are supposed to play football.
01:38Now, let's take a look at the Dallas Cowboys.
01:40As we started the show, don't give me Dak Prescott threw 51 times, two touchdowns, no
01:44picks, passer rating 91, 379.
01:46They were already well out of it at that point.
01:49What did we say in the off season and all the way through?
01:53This team looks like it's going to be CeeDee Lamb and Dak Prescott and nothing else.
01:56They said, well, yesterday, okay, Jake Ferguson comes back six for 95, quality tight end start
02:01there for him.
02:02But a lot of that, once again, in junk time, look at the running back field here for them,
02:06Ben.
02:07We said in the off season, I don't understand this, like Tony Pollard was a serviceable
02:10back.
02:11Zeke, when he was younger, very serviceable back.
02:13He gave up on both of those and told us you were going to enter with Rico Dowdle as your
02:17running back.
02:18Eight carries, 32 yards.
02:20You were going to bring back Fossil Ezekiel Elliott, three carries, six yards.
02:24Oh, we got a little quick back there, Deuce Vaughn, two carries, five yards.
02:28You've got to be kidding me.
02:30This all in off season was a disaster for the Dallas Cowboys and after a nice victory
02:35on opening day when we thought maybe the Cleveland Browns could be a playoff team, the Browns
02:40stink.
02:41So let's downgrade that win for the Cowboys right away.
02:44Week number two against maybe the best team in the NFL that we thought the New Orleans
02:48Saints who got blasted by the Philadelphia Eagles defense yesterday, they got hammered
02:51at home.
02:52And also if this game doesn't end with the Dallas Cowboys onside kick and dink and dunks
02:56in the fourth quarter, they get smoked by three touchdowns.
02:58Once again, it's time to reevaluate what the Dallas Cowboys actually are at this point
03:03because it looks like they're Dak Prescott with junkyards, CD lamb and nothing else.
