00:0020 to 15 victory for the Cowboys over the Giants and I feel like we have to
00:07take this squad by squad, Tom. You were so close when it came to hitting three
00:12for three. CeeDee Lamb coming in at 98 receiving yards but again Cowboys fans
00:16have something to breathe easy about when it comes to their team picking up a
00:20W on the road and also probably should take in consideration the number of
00:25injuries that started to stack up from the second quarter to third quarter to
00:28the fourth quarter. I mean eventually there was a little concern there but you
00:31mentioned it earlier their defense did come in pretty strong for them
00:34especially to keep the Giants to just field goal after field goal after field
00:38goal. So what was the biggest takeaway I guess from the Cowboys offense tonight?
00:42Oh you know they got right with like on the right side of things. Dak was great
00:4822 of 27. They got CeeDee Lamb involved early. They got enough contribution from
00:54everyone else. There was timely catches from Jake Ferguson, a catch by Brandon
00:58Cooks here, a little run by Rico Dowell there. Like there are good signs when it
01:03comes to the Cowboys offense and that's kind of what they mentioned on the
01:06broadcast. It's like we know CeeDee Lamb, we know he's gonna do it. It's like if you
01:09know that's taken care of like who are the other options after him? Like that's
01:13what needs to be figured out and sometimes it's going to be a big Jake
01:16Ferguson game. Sometimes it's gonna be a Brandon Cooks game. That's what I think is
01:19important. I also think it's important to note the Micah Parsons injury.
01:23You know I'm not someone that bets a lot of player award futures as I've talked
01:27about before but this is it's like a big injury especially if you happen to have
01:32a TJ Watt ticket or an Aiden Hutchinson ticket. Like those were the three
01:36essentially co-favorites to win that award so him going down missing any time
01:40I think just gives a leg up to TJ Watt or Hutchinson to win that award. Again
01:45I'm not big in player awards but that is notable. I will say from the Cowboys
01:49coming out of this 2-2 if you were to say to Cowboys fans all right after four
01:53weeks you'll be 2-2. You have to play the Ravens. That's a tough. You have to
01:56go on and then on a short week in a divisional game and play the Giants,
01:59the Saints. It is what it is. I think Cowboys fans would take being 2-2.
02:03Now getting to 2-2 was a rough road after giving them 90 points or whatever in two
02:08games but I think they they got course corrected today and are looking up.
