00:00The NBI confiscated millions of pesos worth of meat, seafood, and even fish from a facility in Bulacan.

00:10It was registered as an ice factory, but smuggled products were imbued.

00:17Oscar Oida was on the scene.

00:19On the eve of the search warrant, the NBI invaded this cold storage facility in Marilao, Bulacan at 11 p.m.

00:34They knocked on the door, but no one was there.

00:37They also used a battering ram, but it didn't explode.

00:41So the agents climbed the second floor and broke one of the windows.

00:58Inside, various frozen meat products such as beef, kalapati, peking duck, and others were stored.

01:06There were frozen seafoods and exotic food such as palaka.

01:10According to the NBI, the so-called storage facility was registered as an ice factory and was not imbued with any food product.

01:19The modus operandi of the so-called cyber patrolling was broken.

01:23We intercepted a communication.

01:25It was offered to the intended clientele through their secret channel.

01:29That's where the transaction took place.

01:33Up to Php 200 million worth of products were smuggled.

01:38But the NBI did not pay the right amount.

01:42What our government is losing here is up to Php 120 million in taxes.

01:49Aside from the possible danger to the health of the people, it did not go through the investigation.

01:59Particularly in poultry products, the so-called bird flu, people could get infected.
