00:04It will shorten the distance between Lanao del Norte and Misamis Occidental.

00:16From the previous 2 hours, the distance between Lanao del Norte and Misamis Occidental is only 7 minutes.

00:24If you will pass through this 3.17km bridge that connects 2 provinces,

00:30that is the newly opened so-called Bay Bridge.

00:34It is the longest bridge that crosses the sea in Mindanao.

00:38Because it has 62 ton capacity, many types of vehicles can pass through these 2 lanes.

00:45Except if the weight is more than 30 tons like a big truck.

00:51It was spent by more than 8 billion pesos that the government borrowed from a Korean bank

00:57and modern Korean bridge technology was used.

01:01But more than just a physical bridge, we are connecting the dreams and aspirations

01:08of the people of Lanao del Norte and of Misamis Occidental.

01:12Our business, agriculture, education, tourism, health, investment opportunities and more will be improved.

01:37The possible completion of the 60km per hour speed limit in Tulay is being studied.

01:52We have succeeded in our campaign to end the decades of conflict in the 60 barangays in your province

01:59that were once in the clutches of insurgent movements.

02:20We were able to end all the insurgents here in Misamis Occidental in the last month.

02:28A total of P10,000 financial aid was given to the 120 former rebels in the province.
