Metal artist Luke Perry has created a giant frog destined for Reedswood nature reserve, Walsall.

00:00My name's Luke Terry and I'm a public artist and what we've been working on today, or for

00:12quite some time actually, is this piece here which is a common frog and various different

00:18wetland wildflowers and it's specifically to draw attention to the fact that we need

00:23to preserve our urban wildlife spaces and actually generally our wildlife.

00:28It's commissioned by a charity called Frog Life and it's going to be installed in a few

00:34weeks in Reedswood Park in Walsall and it'll be on a mound there for everyone to see so

00:40it's just a lovely focal point because we often sort of take for granted these beautiful

00:45spaces and it's important to draw attention to why we've got them and that we need to

00:51look after them.

00:52So this is the catalyst for that.
