00:20spawned photoshopped images, parody videos, jokes, and many other memes on social media
00:25in mid-September 2024. You may have seen comment sections on Instagram filled with the phrase
00:29"'nice try Diddy'", usually on brand videos or advertisements. This spam comment trend seems to
00:34have started around May 2024, after some particularly damning information surrounding
00:38the rapper started to emerge. The revelation of Diddy's freak-offs, or freak parties,
00:43had internet users reflecting on the common pop culture knowledge of Diddy's history of
00:47throwing major star-studded parties. Users started questioning just what exactly was
00:51happening at these events, and concluding that they may have been a lot more sinister
00:55than originally thought.
