00:00and that's only going to simmer in his mind, it cost him dearly
00:04halving his championship lead over Peko Banyaya to just 12
00:09Ahead of this 27 lap race, Peko Banyaya took full advantage in the sprint
00:14brilliant start, jumped from 4th to 2nd and went on to win the race
00:18he hasn't looked his best all weekend, but he always seems to find a way to stay in the hunt
00:23Will Martin hold his nerve?
00:26Can Banyaya grab the lead heading into Japan?
00:29Or could he not rule out Ene-Basinini in the championship or the race?
00:32He starts on row two alongside Banyaya and was on form yesterday
00:37later on in the sprint
00:39Neil Hudson has made it back from a steamy grid down there
00:42Neil, just try and get across to the people at home
00:46what these riders are going through right now
00:48sat on their bikes on this final warm up lap
00:50Yeah, the warm up laps, actually it's quite nice
00:53because you've been sat on the grid for 20 minutes
00:55the sighting lap seems like a long time ago
00:57so by then you've built up heat, there's sweat running down your back
01:00so actually this is quite a nice feeling, you're like, alright, let me get some air
01:04but there's not much air
01:05the only way I can explain it is it feels like someone's blowing a hairdryer on you
01:08there's no fresh feel to it
01:11it's muggy, it's close, it's incredibly humid
01:14and this corner is very tricky, that's the turn 10
01:17that's a great place to make a pass, but it's easy to make a mistake
01:21we've seen people already in races earlier today
01:24you lunge up there, if you run a little bit wide
01:26and you try and bring it back to the line, you will go down
01:29the racing line is narrow, it's wider than it was a year ago
01:32so we should get some good racing here still
01:34Yeah, there are places to pass
01:36in previous years there's been like one or two places
01:39this, I mean, even from Friday
01:42the track's in much better conditions
01:44it's cured, it's settled, it's in really good nick
01:47hey, this is the corner though
01:48Turn 16, caught out Jorge Martín yesterday
01:52how will that be playing on his mind?
01:54it will be on his mind, especially on the first lap
01:57if he's leading to there, all I can say is
01:59if I was him, I'd lose time there
02:02I wouldn't overforce that front
02:04I'll remind you, Márquez Bezecki's on the front row
02:06alongside Pedro Acosta with Martín on pole
02:09behind Martín, Peco Bagnaia
02:11Enea Bastanini alongside
02:13and Fabio Quartararo on the Yamaha
02:15has looked great all weekend
02:16Joan Zarco heads up the third row
02:18and Marc Márquez is back in 12th on the grid
02:20pulled a great start off yesterday
02:22and was up to 5th by Turn 1
02:24let's see what happens this time
02:2627 laps ahead of us
02:28drama yesterday, I'm sure we're going to get more
02:30in this pressure cooker atmosphere
02:32of the Grand Prix of Indonesia
02:34lights go off, Bastanini has had an awful start
02:37it's one awful thing, it's a spin-off
02:38I think you're absolutely right, Neil
02:40we were talking about it
02:41on the dirty side of the racetrack
02:42he's recovered miraculously, I have to say
02:45Marc Márquez this time goes the long way around
02:47oh, he's not going to be able to pull it back from out there
02:49surely not, here we go then
02:50Bastanini into 2nd, what a start from him
02:53yes, so important for Bastanini
02:55we know he's got late race pace
02:56this is his weak point, so the fact that he's in 2nd
02:58oh, here we go, that's Alex Márquez again
03:01crashing before
03:02with Alessio Spargo it looked like
03:04maybe Jack Miller who's gone down in there
03:07yes, Marini, don't tell me Mir as well
03:09no, Mir came safely through, I think
03:11but Alex Márquez
03:13well, what's that crash number 4 of the weekend
03:15from Alex, that is just incredible
03:16and they have been big ones
03:17yes, well, and Alessio Spargo
03:19was that crash number 4 for him as well?
03:21he had two, yes, I think it is
03:22yes, yes, oh dear me
03:24well, the weekend, well
03:26Michael Sport to Alex Márquez on the grid
03:27and it didn't sound very positive
03:29not at all, at the front
03:30Jorge Martín leads through Turn 11
03:32that was his nemesis a year ago
03:34he crashed out of the lead there
03:36now we're going to see if he can hold his nerve
03:39in the heat of Indonesia this time
03:41we're on board with Pedro Costa
03:42looking at Anea Bastanini
03:44and the fact that Bastanini is there
03:46it's huge as far as this race goes
03:48as far as anyone beating Jorge Martín today goes
03:51yes, absolutely, this looks a bit messy
03:54let's hope all the riders are ok
03:55well, we've got on the inside
03:57Pérez
03:58Pérez coming through
04:00sorry
04:00Frankie Morbidelli also
04:01Frankie Morbidelli saw it
04:03but Bagnaia
04:04but Bagnaia looked like he hesitated
04:05talk about respecting that corner
04:07there's, I mean, there's taking it steadier
04:09and that was, I mean, he let two people up the inside of him
04:11and now he's got Marc Márquez lurking right behind him
04:14don't tell me Bagnaia's got more problems
04:16in the early parts of this race
04:17I will say
04:19all weekend that Bagnaia has not looked comfortable
04:22I will also say
04:22Perseche and Morbidelli have the soft front
04:24and it will take time
04:26for Bagnaia's front to come up to temperature
04:28we've seen a lot
04:29a lot of crashes
04:30there's the stricken bikes on the outside
04:32the marshall's doing a great job
04:33but the yellow flag's out
04:34so no passing through there
04:36lap two
04:37Martín from Bastanini
04:39Acosta in third
04:40will be happier with the medium tyre in the rear of his bike
04:43not vibrating basically as much as the soft tyre has been
04:46right, let's have a look at what happens here
04:48into turn two and three
04:50is it on the change of direction?
04:52it's messy, it's tight
04:53oh, it was
04:54it's Jack
04:54yeah, Jack went down
04:56on the kerb
04:56yeah, just, it skittles then
04:59everyone's trying to be aggressive
05:00everyone's trying to be forceful
05:02oof
05:02Jack, it just went from Jack
05:03he didn't even get the bike turned
05:05no, it was like as soon as he changed direction
05:08it was almost like he did it too fast
05:09and pulled the front wheel off the ground
05:10that can happen if you're too aggressive at that point
05:13and down to a faceplant
05:15let's hope everyone's okay
05:16because that was a pretty nasty collision that was going on there
05:20and Morbidelli's looking good, isn't he, in these early laps
05:23that front soft tyre will work at this stage
05:26and we talk about rear tyre wear a lot
05:29as Pedro Acosta goes to the outside of Bastanini
05:32that's brave, isn't it?
05:33from Pedro
05:34that's trust as well
05:35because then if Bastanini has any sort of a problem
05:38if he crashes, it wipes you out as well
05:40but Morbidelli and Bizecki
05:42there will be front tyre issues perhaps later in the race
05:44can you remember Friday?
05:46Frankie Morbidelli on Friday was unbelievable
05:50free practice one, he was the man in control
05:53he had consistent race pace
05:55so I know we've not really spoken about him that much this year
05:58it's been a couple of decent results
06:00not enough, but this is his chance
06:02and he is posing a problem
06:05a dilemma to Pekka Bagnaia
06:07because as it stands, there are four riders between himself and Jorge Martín
06:11and all the advantage that he clawed back yesterday
06:14he would lose that and more
06:17if he were to finish in this position
06:19he's got his work cut out today as Bagnaia
06:21yeah, and I tell you what
06:22good lap from Jorge Martín
06:24he's set the fastest lap of the first player
06:26and this lap as well, he's pulling out
06:29deep in there as he was yesterday and runs it wide
06:32Fabinho de Janantinho has gone with the soft rear, Neil
06:35soft front and soft rear
06:37oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
06:39well
06:41two bikes don't fit around there
06:44not through, I was thinking he's going to run it wide and off track
06:46but no, managed to somehow bring it around, it was
06:49I thought they were both going down there
06:51we've seen them before
06:52there was no room
06:54I don't think they get on very well, Mark and Bez
06:57I think it was Digit
06:59here we go, up the inside
07:01the lovely move from Pedro
07:03precise
07:04and the stressful turn 16
07:07got it stopped, there was room
07:09the natural racing line around that corner
07:12actually invites a pass, it's such a late apex
07:16well, Pedro Acosta
07:18has had a hearty breakfast this morning it seems
07:21he's up for this one and he's thrown Bastianini
07:24now Bastianini, these are his weakest laps of the race
07:27this is certain
07:28would probably get to about five in
07:31more confidence with the front end
07:32but with a lighter fuel tank
07:34this is where he comes into his own
07:36yeah, and it's also, you've got to factor into it
07:39this is where
07:40this is why Bastianini has more tyre at the end of the race
07:43because he's not quite as aggressive as some of his
07:46some of his rivals
07:47he does give that tyre an easier time at this point
07:50where someone like Pedro, the rookie
07:52you know he's abusing that tyre
07:54he's riding to his absolute limit
07:57they fan out once more
07:59Acosta
08:01in front of Bastianini
08:03you see Morbidelli has got through on Bers
08:05after he ran deep at that corner a lap ago
08:08and then a slight gap back
08:10so you've got Peko Pagnaia in sixth
08:12ahead of Marc Marquez and Fabio Di Gianantonio
08:14Brad Binder is leading the chase pack
08:18actually he's just behind
08:19yeah, he's just got through on Zarco
08:21say what, looking at the times, looking at the lap times
08:23Jorge Marti, we thought he'd 0.3 of a second in his pocket
08:27do you know what, it's more like 0.4 of a second
08:29he's absolutely controlling this race
08:31but I will remind you
08:33a year ago he was doing exactly the same
08:35got a three-second lead
08:37pretty much the race was done
08:38not too many laps to go
08:40and he crashed then, so
08:42that will be playing on his mind also
08:44it was past the halfway point, wasn't it?
08:45it was
08:47across the front straight
08:49one and a half seconds, the gap back to Acosta
08:52and Bastianini just needs to sort out his early laps for races
08:56and Bastianini was wide there
08:57yep, Morbidelli didn't need a second invitation
09:02doing a great job for Pramac here
09:04because as it stands, the gap will open up
09:08from 12
09:09and it will go all the way back out to 27
09:13having been 24 at the start of the weekend
09:15I think Jorge Marti would have taken that following yesterday
09:19yeah, you're right
09:19how good is Pedro Acosta
09:22on the Gas-Gas-Stroke KTM
09:24you look at the next KTM runners
09:26Brad Binder who's down in 9th place
09:29obviously Jack Miller crashed out straight away
09:32oh, Marc just having a look there
09:34just slightly wide
09:36hmm, not a great place this is for Bagnai to be
09:39but it's about been where his pace has been all weekend
09:42yeah
09:42you know if he's strong in the latter stages
09:44you know he will
09:45probably has a shot still on the podium
09:48however, he's got Marc Marquez for company here
09:52yeah, actually, well
09:53at the start of the weekend, Bagnai was miles off
09:56when he put the soft rear slick in
09:58then he found some pace
10:00we know in the longer race you have to run the medium really
10:03so, I think that's why Bagnai is struggling
10:06ooh, that looks tight between Marquez and Bagnai
10:10at the front, Acosta
10:11he just closed down a little bit on Marti on this lap
10:14this will be a good lap
10:16yeah, fastest lap of the race as well
10:1831-0
10:20Pedro Acosta
10:21he fancied it coming here this weekend
10:24he knows
10:24here we go for Marc Marquez
10:25on the long way back
10:26he's gonna go wide
10:27definitely going wide
10:28but he's gonna open the door for Béz
10:31oh, and Bagnai was just, just strong enough
10:33and Béz
10:35didn't, that was a good move from Béz
10:37it's Gian Antonio
10:38oh, sorry
10:39yeah, yeah, it's Gian Antonio who was just in behind him
10:42sorry, the
10:42it's hard to tell with the number
10:43they're different colours
10:44they're different, yeah
10:45yeah, that's throwing me off ever so slightly
10:47yeah, he's number 49
10:49but he has, as I say, got the soft rear tyre in his bike in theory
10:52yeah
10:54that's not gonna last, is it?
10:55no
10:58well, the fact, there's
11:01is it, we've got 21 MotoGP riders
11:04everyone
11:05Béz is on the move though, Neil
11:06sorry, he just threw on Bastidini at turn 10
11:09and I tell you what
11:10Bagnai in turn is having to hold off
11:13the advances of the Gian Antonio
11:16this is costing Bagnai a crucial time in this race
11:21here he comes, far ahead of Gian Antonio
11:23and it will be like Bagnai is standing still
11:26because he's got soft tyre front and rear in that bike
11:29he's gonna run wide
11:30and Márquez will not need a second invitation to come back in front of him
11:33I was about to say
11:34Márquez and Digi don't get on as well
11:36that's another one
11:37well, I mean, you could probably go through a lot of the MotoGP field
11:39oh, fair point, yeah
11:44so, more switches of position as Bagnai and Márquez go back in front of the Gian Antonio
11:49but Digi showing in these early laps that he has more pace
11:53but will he have tyre come the end of the race?
11:57Pedro Acosta's closed in
11:59it's now down to 1.1 at the front
12:01it was 1.5 a few laps ago
12:04you know what?
12:05it's encouraging for the rest of the field actually, isn't it?
12:08as we're on board here with Marc Márquez
12:10it's a little bit deeper into the corner than Bagnai
12:13which should mean that Bagnai will get a better exit
12:17because Morbidelli and Bezeki with the soft front have got through on Bastidini
12:21and it just helps Bagnai
12:22let's see what happened
12:23oh, it's a...
12:25it doesn't spin, it's just a jerky start
12:27do you know what? I think Bez's front right-hand devices are down
12:32yeah, looks like it, you're right
12:34yeah
12:36like if you look at Jorge Martín
12:37yeah
12:38yeah, it is
12:39he didn't get it down, look
12:40and that's why he got a bad start
12:42Acosta
12:43seen that before from Marc Márquez, was that back in Austria?
12:46yeah
12:47Márquez hung out to try on the outside
12:49he went to the inside yesterday
12:50tried a different technique
12:52but the problem there is, Neil
12:53you're on the dirty part of the racetrack
12:55yeah, and now at that point where he is
12:57there's nothing you can do, you're a passenger
12:59so Morbidelli then pulls through on the inside
13:02this is the battle for sixth though
13:04sixth between Bagnai, Márquez and Fabio Di Gialantonio
13:08but Neil, we have to remind people about what happened here one year ago
13:13yeah, with the Jorge Martín checking out
13:17thought he'd won the race and then he was down
13:20and the tyres, remember the lap times from a year ago
13:23I mean, the lap times dropped off at least two seconds a lap by the end
13:27well, Maverick Vinales was leading, wasn't he?
13:29for most of the remainder of the race
13:31and then suddenly, Bagnai had hunted him down
13:33he went through and then suddenly Fabio Quartararo came through
13:36Quartararo is down in 13th, I'm afraid to say
13:39so starting sixth
13:42he hasn't been able to capitalize on that
13:45Jorge Martín responded
13:46he saw the gap come down to 1.1
13:48he's just edged it back up to 1.3
13:52he wants to control this race
13:53you don't want to encourage Pedro Acosta
13:56every time I see Pedro Acosta, his riding style looks even more extreme
14:01when's the changeover point for Bastianini?
14:03is it now where he starts to come into a little bit more of his own
14:06in terms of battling with Perseche and Morbidelli with that soft front?
14:10here we go, Márquez will run Di G up to the edge of the racetrack
14:13they're having a rare old scrap here
14:16okay, it's going to be, I'd say with Bastianini
14:19look at these two
14:20he'll go again
14:22but he will get drive here, Di G
14:25the problem is, when you've got Márquez there, he'll just lunge
14:28yeah, but so, do you know what?
14:29Di G's a different rider now though
14:31he's so much more confident than he used to be
14:33he's quite an aggressive rider
14:36here we go, from a miles back
14:38from absolutely miles back, there you go
14:41does it well
14:41Di G wouldn't have done that two years ago
14:43little slip from Márquez
14:46as he applied the throttle coming out of turn 16
14:48and so he's back into 8th place
14:51he has said he didn't really have top 5 pace this weekend
14:55as the new fastest lap of the race comes in
14:57from Peco Bagnaia in 6th
14:594.1 behind Jorge Martín
15:01it's not Misano 2 all over again, is it?
15:03I'm just going to say, shades of last weekend
15:06from nowhere, Bagnaia who looked like he didn't have a good set
15:09he didn't look good at all
15:11like he didn't have a good set
15:12he didn't look comfortable
15:14all of a sudden set the lap record
15:16let's hope it's not déjà vu
15:18because the last thing we need to see is
15:20Bagnaia tucking the front
15:21well, he's had the warning
15:23and as he said
15:24this is a championship of mistakes
15:26was his line yesterday
15:28we have seen 10 of them
15:30from the lead riders
15:324 to this man
15:33if we include his
15:35choice to pit back in Misano
15:38and 6 to Bagnaia
15:40yeah, we also
15:41ooooh
15:42Pidgey
15:44that's Pidgey gone
15:45it was a
15:46tough battle he was enjoying
15:47remember soft front, soft rear
15:49and it gives up the ghost on him
15:52yeah, and it's
15:53that's one of the issues with the soft
15:55is braking stability
15:57it's that hardest braking point on the track
15:59down into turn 10
16:01slightly downhill
16:02first gear hairpin corner
16:04approaching it at a high speed
16:07David Mignot looking a little bit glum down there
16:09in the VR46 box
16:11right at the front
16:12Martine 1.4
16:13the gap to Acosta
16:14Acosta just reeled it in ever so slightly on this lap
16:17and then Franchi Bobinelli in 3rd
16:19Bisecchi in 4th
16:20but you've got to feel with the soft front tyre in
16:23however much they'll be trying and hoping to manage this
16:26that Bastinini soon will start
16:28to claw in
16:29Bagnaia will soon start to claw in that gap
16:33someone's down
16:36oh no, is that
16:37ooh
16:38I was high up on the kerb there wasn't it
16:40yeah
16:41he's using a lot of the kerbs
16:43taking risks
16:44he has to
16:45yeah, he has to
16:47this is his championship that's slipping through his fingers
16:50he was lucky yesterday
16:51he was
16:52he knows he was
16:52yeah
16:54I like the little mind games he said
16:56to Jorge Martín
16:57the line was
16:58well, if he'd have been going that pace
17:00as he was in that first lap for the rest of the sprint race
17:02he'd have been four seconds clear
17:04Jorge Martín said
17:06essentially should mind his own business
17:08what did he say?
17:08four seconds?
17:10that'll be my gap today
17:12I like that
17:13let's see
17:14oh, I hope it's my gap today
17:18more correct way of putting it
17:24here is Bagnaia
17:25he's just set another fastest lap of the race
17:27a 1.30.7
17:29that's a new fastest race lap
17:31that beats Bastinini's from last year
17:36quicker
17:37quicker, Neil
17:39and they went in the sprint yesterday
17:40there, that's wide now
17:42this is
17:43this is surely the moment perhaps where
17:46Bastinini will start to have the edge over Berseke in front
17:49yeah
17:50with the soft front
17:52they're moving around a lot
17:53especially the braking zones
17:57at the front the gap's under a second, Neil
18:00Pedro Costa's just dropped into the 1.30s
18:03whereas Martín a 1.31.2
18:06that's encouragement for Costa
18:08it's encouragement for this race
18:10Martín is
18:12you know, off his pace all of a sudden
18:14to keep that gap over a second
18:16we'll have to take some risks
18:18well, the team said they'd found something with Costa's bike
18:20but I just thought that was
18:21I've heard that a few times
18:22it's that
18:24you know, trying to send positive messages out there but
18:27I mean, you look at Pedro
18:29this is
18:30he said he was looking forward to
18:31riding here
18:32he loves Mandelika
18:33won here last year in Moto2
18:35likes low grip tracks
18:37does all that training as you know, Gavin
18:39you went and spent a day with him
18:40yeah
18:42the hot slippery go-kart tracks of Murcia
18:45he's making up time
18:47in sector 1 and sector 4
18:50yeah
18:51where you have the tighter sections
18:53yeah, you'd be
18:54he's risking more
18:55I
18:56I still think though, Jorge Martín's controlling this
18:58absolutely
18:59I don't think he's
19:00Martín's
19:02being comfortable all weekend at this pace
19:05they'll be just clicking off the laps
19:06not risking too much around turn 16
19:09where Pedro's chasing
19:10he's trying to claw in the gap
19:12and actually
19:13it's such a funny
19:14part of the track
19:15that if you've got somebody in front of you
19:16you've got someone to gauge
19:17it's really easy just to close in
19:19fastest rider on circuit on that last lap, Neil
19:21was Frankie Morbidelli
19:24and as a Costa sets a new fastest lap of the race
19:26Martín responded and then Bagnaglia goes even quicker
19:29a 1.30.5
19:30from Petko Bagnaglia
19:32these are stunning lap times they're
19:34talking off now
19:35it
19:36it's all about dosing it out
19:38isn't it, in this race
19:40and as Bagnaglia
19:41is just trying to judge things
19:42he's only 3.4 seconds behind Martín now
19:46having been over 4 seconds at one point
19:48yeah
19:49but then
19:50still such a long way to go in this race
19:5316 laps to go
19:55and a lot of people to get through
19:57yeah
19:58and how much tyre you're going to have left
20:01it's a question
20:03Martín again in that first split
20:05the gap comes down to 0.7
20:06and that's encouragement isn't it
20:08he can now use Jorge Martín as a marker
20:10Pedro Costa
20:11yeah absolutely
20:12engaged especially through the
20:13the faster corners what are coming up
20:16it's a superb track
20:17just saw the waves crashing
20:20on the reef just to the back of the circuit
20:22there at turn 10
20:23beautiful part of the world
20:25we really enjoyed our time here on Lombard
20:27oh, Marcos
20:29is he down or is it a bike problem
20:31bike problem
20:31bike's cut out
20:32it's on fire
20:33oh, bike's on fire yeah
20:35Crick takes it to the marshals
20:37they'll say jump off it
20:38because that
20:38not only was it hot enough anyway out there
20:40suddenly he's sat
20:42on an oven
20:43on fire
20:45what a shame
20:46not another mechanical
20:47it's another mechanical actually
20:48and Marcos just dropped it
20:49and right in the sole
20:50I think has he gone and got the
20:53fire extinguisher himself
20:54no, there he is
20:56what's happened here then
20:57there's been a lot of them this year
20:58unfortunately
21:00and that
21:01you'd have to say is the end of his
21:03championship
21:05really
21:06oh
21:08he's gone pop
21:10that's what it sounded like
21:13right so
21:14that'll be oil then dripping
21:16from somewhere in
21:17the engine onto exhaust
21:19onto other bits and then
21:21it all catches on from there
21:23and then
21:24it's on from there
21:25so Marc Marquez drops out of the race
21:29at the front
21:30the gap between Jorge Martin
21:32and Pedro Costa down to 6 tenths of a second
21:34as Ramir now suffers a crash at turn one
21:37they are dropping like flies
21:38this happened last year Neil
21:39yeah
21:40it was a race of attrition
21:42you know there's so many things going on here
21:44the bikes
21:45they're starting to suffer
21:46but the riders too
21:47absolutely
21:48yeah
21:49you get into that point
21:51you're getting close to the half race distance
21:53your feet will be burning
21:55and then on top of that
21:57Juan Mir who's talking about
21:58huge vibrations coming from his bike this weekend
22:02the way it was reacting with the tyres
22:05and
22:06makes a
22:07sense of why he's crashed out
22:08Bagnaia Claude
22:09another four tenths off Martin on that last lap
22:12Martin is obviously keeping something in reverse
22:14here comes Bastinini
22:16oh
22:16and he's sat up
22:17Bez
22:18he knew he needed to get through quickly
22:20because Bez's pace was dropping
22:22and now Bastinini through
22:25and this will be interesting
22:26this next lap
22:26what
22:27what speed has Bastinini got
22:30he's got a bit of room in front of him to Frankie Mobadeli
22:33point four of a second
22:34gap between Bastinini and Martin at 2.6
22:38the gap from Bagnaia and Martin at three seconds
22:40remember we said it was over four seconds
22:42at one point
22:45Martin has so many things going on inside his mind
22:48yesterday's crash
22:49last year's crash
22:50the championship lead
22:52not making another mistake
22:54all of that
22:55oh Bagnaia looked like a little bit out of shape there
22:57high on the kerb wasn't it
22:58yeah
23:01still keeps it rolling
23:02having to take risks
23:03I love this part of the track
23:04look how fast he is through there
23:06through the change of direction
23:07look where we are
23:08down into the tricky tight hairpin
23:11beautiful
23:12absolutely stunning
23:13down in turn ten
23:14half race distance
23:15thirteen and a half laps down
23:17thirteen and a half to go
23:19Martin leads by less than a second
23:21from Pedro Acosta
23:23who is looking to become the second youngest
23:26MotoGP winner
23:29and this is the point now
23:30where normally
23:32lap times start to go a little bit slower
23:34and this man keeps it consistent
23:36and Neha Bastinini
23:38he's got past Bez
23:39he's now closing up
23:41and Frankie Mobadeli
23:42is he going to
23:43not quite close enough to have a look there
23:48gap just going out again
23:52between Martin and Acosta
23:53but not by much
23:5530.7 from Martin
23:5630.9 that time from Acosta
23:59but who's quicker
24:00than both of them at the front
24:02Neha Bastinini
24:03and Pekko Bagnaia
24:05but Bastinini runs deep in turn one
24:08he has to get through quickly
24:09on Mobadeli
24:10or his chance at victory
24:12could well go
24:15yeah so where is he going to do it
24:17I'm going to say he's going to try and get a run down into 10
24:20I've just noticed as well on the timing screens Neil
24:23that Jorge Martin has just set his
24:26personal best lap of the race
24:29there's no doubt about it
24:30I think you're absolutely spot on
24:32when you say he
24:33is managing things out front
24:35Bastinini is going to get the run here
24:37he's not quite close enough
24:39oh is Mobadeli going to run a little bit deep though
24:41his rear
24:43wheel was in the air
24:44but he pulls it down superbly
24:46the Italian
24:48I feel also now Bagnaia's stalled hasn't he
24:51wide again sorry
24:52from Mobadeli there in turn 11 but yeah
24:55right he's going to dive up the inside
24:57it'll be tight if he does
24:58no
24:59thought he was going to have a look then
25:00right so the beast is close enough
25:02he's setting this one up
25:03he's going to get the run down towards 15
25:06through 15
25:08yeah
25:09no it's not close enough
25:10I'll tell you what
25:11Mobadeli that first part
25:13he needs to be a couple of bike lengths
25:16nearer that point
25:18Bagnaia had a bad lap
25:19last time around Neil
25:20he was out into the 31s
25:22we do have the situation
25:23that we haven't talked about yet
25:25I hate to talk about it
25:25but tyre pressures
25:27at the front when you're running in
25:28like this
25:30front tyre pressures will be going through the roof
25:32be ballooning
25:34well you can see Bastinini then
25:36when he got to the braking zone he was way
25:38here we go Bastinini is it
25:39oh
25:41squeeze it
25:41this is going to be a good move
25:42oh that's a lovely one
25:44he set that up so nicely
25:46oh Mobadeli
25:47makes contact with him
25:48comes straight back at him
25:50and rides through his legs
25:51take a bow
25:52Frankie Mobadeli
25:54you're not doing that to me
25:55it's a brave rider that continues to lean on the rider
25:59who's past you essentially
26:01but the next corner was a lovely left-hander
26:03and he had the inside
26:05that's the Mobadeli of old
26:06it is
26:07and he's fighting to stay in the podium
26:09and he's also
26:10protecting his teammate in some ways
26:12doing the work for his team here
26:14keeping Bastinini at bay
26:16that move right there
26:18could have helped Jorge Martín win this race
26:20yeah
26:22I totally agree but
26:23we're looking at this point now
26:24Bastinini's bike's turning better
26:27everywhere he's
26:28he looks like he can get the bike turned
26:30it's like he's got that little bit more grip
26:33Pagnaia's had another not great lap
26:35the gap was 4.1
26:36it was down to 3
26:37it's now back out to 3.5
26:39between Martín and Pagnaia
26:40here we go
26:41meanwhile
26:42Eneo Bastinini trying to work out a way round
26:45on Mobadeli
26:46but Mobadeli too strong
26:49right, will he go again in the same part of the racetrack?
26:52what's interesting in there
26:53Vez can carry so much more speed into there
26:55but that's a soft front
26:56that's that
26:57that part of the track
27:00Pedro Costa's been given the mapping too
27:03so whatever he'll do to the
27:05possibly about fuel consumption
27:07yep, could be
27:10look at him, Bastinini
27:11he's turning, isn't it?
27:13now Mobadeli knows that
27:15that's a problem for him
27:20look at the beast
27:22again, much tighter
27:26on the hard front tyre
27:29look at it moving through there
27:30Bastinini's fishtailing
27:34this is the
27:34he's trying to set it up through here
27:36trying to get the run
27:37can he get the run?
27:38no
27:39not close enough
27:41so if you try from there
27:42you are not getting it stopped
27:44he's almost now in this position
27:46got to force Mobadeli into a bit of a mistake
27:49make him defend
27:50make him
27:52throw it into an apex and run wide
27:54here we go
27:55Bastinini's come to something up in turn 12
27:58it's a great move
27:59and it will just hang him on the outside here
28:01yeah
28:01Mobadeli
28:02is that
28:02I thought he might top it out on the outside
28:04yeah
28:05that would have been a mistake
28:05because I think he'd have ended up in the gravel
28:07here we go though
28:08Mobadeli will have a great run
28:09he's so fast through this part of the racetrack
28:11in turn 15
28:12ooh, he's got on the wrong side
28:14has he?
28:15has he?
28:15is he able to pull it back down?
28:17no, he's not
28:18no, he's not
28:19Bastinini
28:20has worked that out
28:21he's had a few goes at a few different parts of the racetrack
28:23at the front, Neil
28:24half a second, the gap
28:26half a second, the gap
28:27has there been a mistake from Marty?
28:29yeah, there must have been a mistake
28:30yeah, 0.6 over the line
28:32Pedro was 0.3 of a second
28:34on that lap faster
28:35lap times have just suddenly dropped
28:37considerably
28:39yeah, look, already Ene-Bastinini's breaking away
28:44right, the gap he's got now
28:452.7 to Pedro Acosta
28:46he's been released as Bastinini
28:492.7, 10 laps to go
28:51can he do it?
28:53it's Ene-Bastinini
28:54yes, he can
28:55in the late stage of a race
28:56yes, he can
28:56we've seen him take
28:58three, four tenths of people in the past
29:00yeah
29:01he was doing it last year
29:02it's just he was coming from a long way back
29:04last year
29:06right, nine and a half to go
29:07Martin's gap to Acosta, 0.7
29:09he's not even been shown a wheel yet in this race
29:11Martin
29:14now Morbidelli and Verzecki
29:18battling for four
29:20Peco Pagnaia has just had a couple of laps
29:24off
29:25I'll say, just been sat there maybe trying to get some
29:30cooler air on his front tyre
29:33already, Bastinini has closed the gap
29:35four tenths to Acosta in front
29:38unbelievable
29:40Bastinini is coming, ladies and gentlemen
29:43with just over nine laps remaining
29:44he might not have been in that shot
29:46was just about coming in to turn 15 and into 16 now
29:50but Martin, you feel, is holding something back
29:53let's have a look at the tyres, Neil
29:54can you see anything?
29:56yeah, I can
29:56they look absolutely perfect
29:58they do
30:00across the line, what's the gap?
30:01back to 0.9
30:02so there must have been a mistake
30:04but look at the lap from Bastinini
30:06compared to Martin, Neil
30:070.4 of a second
30:08yeah, unbelievable
30:10he's throwing everything at it
30:11he's risking everything
30:12if a Neil Bastinini wants to win this championship
30:14he has to win today
30:16the main race is
30:18you can't give up any more points
30:21and that's what he said
30:22I will risk everything
30:24that's the only chance I've got
30:26I look forward to seeing it
30:28oh, someone's flapping around
30:29oh, is that
30:30is that normal?
30:32it's like the inside of his leather, isn't it?
30:36Fabio Quattroaro's made up a few positions
30:38we've only got 14 runners
30:39he's just got through on Zarco
30:40he's in touch with Brad Binder
30:42in that first split
30:43Bastinini's taken out 0.2
30:45in that relatively small sector
30:48and another tenth in the second sector
30:50and all of this
30:51he might be eating up the ground
30:53to Acosta
30:54but he's also doing it to Martin
30:57oh, here we go for Bez
30:59he copies Bastinini's move
31:00but he's not able to bring it down
31:02like Bastinini was
31:04oh, Bagnaia
31:06Bagnaia Pecco
31:09thought about it
31:10yeah, that was
31:11went for it
31:11and it wasn't there
31:12Bez is definitely going to pass him
31:14Bez is so fast here
31:15into, down into 16
31:18not that time
31:22well, this is the Bagnaia pace
31:23that we sort of expected at the start
31:25that we sort of expected at the weekend
31:26and he said he'd found something yesterday
31:28but it hasn't translated to the race
31:34the gap's coming down again
31:35wow, Bastinini first or best lap of the race
31:37half a second
31:38quicker than Martin on that last lap
31:40imagine having half a second
31:42at this point in the race
31:44if only Enea Bastinini
31:46could do first five laps of a race
31:48he'd be a world champion
31:49but is that the reason why
31:50he can do the lap times now
31:52quite possibly
31:52it's that trade-off
31:53he's patient
31:56he's patient
32:02through the fast part of the racetrack
32:05love this section
32:07it's a great part, isn't it?
32:08it really is
32:09up and over the crest
32:10yeah
32:10through eight
32:11into turn nine now
32:13and then the run to turn ten
32:14here comes Bezeki again
32:16out of shape
32:17just like yesterday
32:19and this time
32:20he is able to bring it down to the apex
32:22that's where he ran off course
32:24almost took out Van Jaer
32:28through
32:29another half a second
32:30of Bastinini
32:32look at him, he's coming there
32:34gap 2.7 seconds now
32:36between Bastinini and Martin
32:38he lost time
32:40trying to get through
32:42on Morbidelli
32:42when we were talking about that moment
32:44that could be the one
32:45that saves Jorge today
32:47still plenty of time left though
32:49at that pace
32:50at the pace he's going now, yeah
32:53going to have just about to start
32:54seven laps to go
32:58right, across the line
33:00oh, hey Martin
33:02one second
33:03oh, new fastest lap of the race
33:05for Manei Bastinini now
33:06two tenths quicker than Martin on that last lap
33:08Augusto Fernandes is retired
33:10with a technical issue
33:11oh, Bastinini down and out
33:13that is his championship gone right there
33:16new fastest lap of the race
33:18and he crashes
33:19out
33:22Manei Bastinini
33:23yeah, there is a reason he's just set the fastest lap
33:25because it's just over the limit
33:28problem is
33:29it's the normal 2024 crash
33:33braking zone
33:35we've seen
33:36obviously we've seen Bagnaia do that
33:37we've seen Jorge and Martin do that
33:39and it's natural for the riders
33:41where do you make up time?
33:42you try and pinch a yard in the brakes
33:44or a few inches
33:46you keep increasing it, keep increasing it
33:48unfortunately
33:49with those
33:50with the front tyre
33:51with a hard front tyre
33:53you've maximum grip
33:54then you've no grip
33:55and down you go
33:56the arms to the air there from
33:58Davide Tardossi
34:00suggests that he goes
34:01well, that explains why
34:03Bastinini was making up so much time
34:05but I think
34:06it's one of those crashes
34:07you can't blame Bastinini for
34:09he knows my only hope for this championship
34:11is to go to the limit
34:14and that's going to happen
34:15yeah
34:16yeah, that can happen
34:17like I said
34:18how many crashes have we had this year
34:20that look very similar to that one?
34:23now there are only 12 riders
34:25in this race, Neil
34:29remarkable scenes here
34:31late afternoon in Indonesia
34:33I hope you're enjoying this
34:34if you have joined us early in the morning in the UK
34:37this is
34:39a cup of coffee to get you going, isn't it?
34:40this MotoGP race
34:42out the front
34:43Jorge Martin has finally broken
34:45Pedro Acosta, I feel
34:47he's back into the 1 minute 30s
34:48a twitch from Bezeki
34:51we'll give encouragement to Banyaya
34:53do you think these three know each other?
34:55no
34:55and strengths and weaknesses
34:56yeah, I mean literally
34:58the guys at the BR46 squad
35:00train together
35:01spend so much time together
35:03really good friends
35:05so
35:06if there is a pass
35:08you'd like to think it'll be kept as clean as possible
35:10but
35:11how do you do that on this track?
35:13it's difficult as we've seen
35:15you see how narrow the racing line really is
35:17not as bad as it was last year
35:19but still
35:20oh, here we go again with Bezeki
35:22and he's got a one wide
35:23and this time Banyaya
35:24taking no prisoners and goes
35:26up and picks up another couple of points
35:29as he goes into 4th
35:30that's 13 now
35:31rather than the 11 he was in before
35:33the 10 he had when he was running 6th
35:35before Bastianini crashed out
35:37there's a podium in sight here for Peco Banyaya
35:39yeah
35:40definitely
35:41and it was such a great shot
35:43that aerial view
35:44really you can appreciate
35:45a small mistake
35:47you pay a big price
35:48you can lose so much time
35:49look at the marking on the left hand side
35:51of the rear tyre for Francky Morbidelli
35:53this is the old
35:54oh, sorry
35:54I thought it was going to
35:55I thought it was as well
35:56I thought we were going to team on him then
35:57have a look at the rear left of
35:59Morbidelli's rear tyre
36:00there's a distinct mark on it
36:04so we'll see if that
36:06comes into play later in this race
36:09Francky being encouraged on
36:10willed on by his Prima Pramac team
36:12because they know
36:13if he can just nick
36:15this
36:16extra
36:173 points from Banyaya
36:19that's crucial for the championship
36:21Banyaya gets through
36:21and the gap's down to 21
36:23and at net over the weekend
36:26Banyaya has made inroads
36:28yeah
36:30albeit only 3 points
36:31yeah
36:32as it stands
36:32it's as we were
36:34coming into Indonesia
36:35but you feel like Banyaya's bike is turning better
36:38you can see Morbidelli having his moments
36:39you can see the marking on the left hand side
36:41of his rear tyre
36:43and further back
36:44I just want to point out
36:45that Paget Quartararo on that last lap
36:46was the only one managing Jorge Martins' pace
36:49and now Pekka Banyaya showing that
36:51he's got something in reserve too
36:53he fires it from a long way back
36:54at turn 10 on Francky
36:56and he's up into the podium spots
36:58we didn't know if we're going to be saying that today
37:01no, at one point when he was down in 7th place
37:03dropping back
37:05hey
37:06I think
37:06important thing there
37:07Davide Tardozzi clapping
37:09Enea Bastinini
37:10he'll appreciate a rider
37:12risking today
37:13absolutely
37:14that rider risking
37:15not this one
37:16yeah
37:16he would want this man
37:18throwing it down the road
37:20no, that is a fact
37:22just five laps to go
37:24gap at the front 1.7
37:25you feel that Martin didn't control it
37:27there was that period in the middle of the race
37:29where the gap came down
37:30but he didn't panic
37:32and he's eeked it back up to
37:35say
37:351.8 now over the line
37:38so
37:39Banyaya will pick up 16 points
37:40it looks like Martin's got 25
37:439 this wing
37:43and as you can see
37:44Banyaya
37:45heading to Japan
37:46a track that he loves
37:47the track that he gets on with
37:4921
37:50behind Jorge Martin
37:51further back
37:53Showanzaka in 8th
37:54another good ride
37:55after an 8th place in the sprint yesterday
37:57Fabio Quartararo just ahead of him
37:59and Quartararo is closing in on Vinales in front
38:02Vinales is the
38:03top Aprilian
38:04well, there's only
38:05two left in this race
38:06with Miguel Oliveira not riding today
38:09he's there in 6th
38:10but it's a far cry
38:12from battling Banyaya for victory a year ago
38:16yeah
38:17it's erm
38:19it's been a good weekend for Yamaha in general
38:21but erm
38:22it all went wrong off the start today
38:25he went backward
38:26dropped like a stone did Fabio
38:28and it'll have been a
38:29this'll be a long
38:30tedious race
38:35through turn 12
38:36Morbidelli and Bizetki
38:38good pals
38:39hang out obviously
38:41at the ranch in Tavulia
38:43in
38:43underneath the tutelage of Valentino Rossi
38:46as does Peco Banyaya
38:48they've all scrapped for 3rd today
38:50Banyaya's got the upper hand there
38:52who's gonna have the bragging rights between these two?
38:55Morbidelli on this year's bike
38:57Bizetki on last year's bike
39:02into the final corner
39:04there'll be three laps remaining
39:05as Martin already has crossed the line
39:07he's got 2.3 now over Acosta
39:09he can keep in the
39:10in the
39:1130.7s now
39:12looks comfortable
39:13quick word on
39:15Pedro Acosta
39:16Neil
39:16outstanding
39:17he will go back ahead of
39:18Brad Binder in the championship
39:20into 5th place
39:22and
39:23for
39:23Acosta
39:25that will be
39:26his
39:264th
39:27podium in a main race this year
39:29when KTM's have had
39:30one
39:31other with Brad Binder
39:33that's remarkable from a rookie
39:34yeah absolutely
39:35obviously a special talent
39:38we saw him on the grid didn't ya?
39:39I mean talk about
39:40Eye of the Tiger
39:41he was
39:42in
39:43the zone
39:43so closely
39:44look at that lap time though
39:45and today your fastest lap at lap 14
39:47but look how consistent that is
39:50and that's a man riding within himself
39:51he can probably go
39:53I'd say he could go a couple of tenths
39:54per lap quicker
39:56but he doesn't want to risk it
39:59he has been on fire
40:00he has
40:01responded so well
40:03to that
40:04from that crash yesterday
40:06he's got this uncanny ability this year
40:09of putting things behind him
40:10we asked him about it yesterday
40:12and he said
40:13turning the page has been a big part
40:15of this season
40:16they've needed to
40:17because both he and Van Jaer
40:19have made big mistakes
40:20at crucial moments
40:22you feel like there's going to be more Neil
40:23before the end of the year
40:24you said
40:25at some point in these final 5 races
40:27there will be a head to head
40:29and there will be a collision
40:30yes
40:31there will be
40:32it's just
40:33the odds say that
40:35they're front foot guard there
40:36that's a front foot guard of a Yamaha is it?
40:39looks like it
40:40if you could spot what that was straight away
40:42because it had the monster logo on it
40:44okay
40:44I'm guessing it was a Yamaha one
40:46I'm going to give you a gold watch
40:48well I'm not actually
40:49in fact I'll buy you one tonight
40:53or another bracelet
40:58how nice is this
40:58now if you're Jorge Martin
41:00you've one and a half laps to go
41:02you've two and a half second lead
41:05you crashed out of the lead yesterday
41:07he will not have slept a wink
41:09the whole paddock suffered from jet lag
41:11we came straight from Europe
41:13there's a long trip to get here
41:15three different flights
41:17like I say
41:18everyone's got jet lag
41:20and it's no different for the riders
41:21and they can't take any sort of sleep aids
41:23because
41:24obviously they get drug tested
41:25and there's lots of
41:27banned things
41:29so you've to be super careful
41:31anyway
41:32what I'm trying to get at is
41:33this man won't have slept a wink last night
41:35he'll have been reliving his mistake
41:38but he came out this morning
41:39the morning warm up
41:40and he got into that rhythm straight away
41:43control the morning warm up
41:44he's so fast
41:45consistent
41:46and he's controlled this race
41:48he's ridden superbly
41:50okay he has
41:51put the past behind
41:53and look to the future
41:53well the future is him
41:55opening up the gap
41:56that's a close to 12 points overnight
42:00by another nine points
42:02because he's going to take 25
42:03Pedro Costa's going to take 20
42:06Peco Pagnaia
42:07has just one lap
42:08to seal 16 points
42:10I think
42:12after Friday
42:14would Pagnaia have taken that?
42:16yes
42:17definitely
42:18he was
42:19he was nowhere
42:21can I just call out
42:23Pedro Costa in the middle
42:25the job he's doing on that
42:26KTM there
42:28when the next KTM is Brad Binder
42:30who's 15
42:31seconds behind
42:33what about that from
42:34from Costa
42:36Brad Binder won't believe it
42:37because he'll come in in ninth
42:40and he'll say
42:41who won
42:42which is always a horrible feeling
42:43when you can't even see the podium
42:45and
42:45when you find out like
42:46you're rookie
42:48teammate to be
42:50he's that far ahead on
42:52the same bike
42:54yeah
42:55that
42:56Brad Binder will be doing some head scratching
42:59Jorge Martin
43:00has not won a Grand Prix
43:03since Le Mans
43:05since France
43:06that was back in the middle of May
43:08he was on
43:09pole position on that occasion
43:11and he did the double
43:12he had the chance to do it here this weekend
43:14but he threw it away yesterday
43:16however for the first time since May
43:19as we head into
43:21the Japanese Grand Prix next weekend
43:23in October
43:25Jorge Martin
43:26is going to extend his lead in the championship
43:29he can even have a little look around
43:30in the corner that cost him yesterday
43:33as he takes win number three
43:34of the season in the Grand Prix
43:37across the line
43:39Jorge Martin
43:40back on top of a MotoGP podium
43:43Pedro Acosta
43:44back on the podium in second
43:46and Peko Banyaia
43:48damage limitation
43:49salvaging something
43:50with third across the line today
43:52and that
43:53is a big statement from Martin
43:56after his mistake yesterday
43:57yeah after his mistake yesterday
43:59after getting passed on the last lap a week ago
44:02he wasn't happy with Veneer Bastionini
44:05but what he did was
44:07he focused
44:08what he got here
44:09the first laps
44:11he was faster than everybody by about 0.7 of a second
44:13and
44:14yeah just been incredible today
44:17absolutely incredible ride
44:19now
44:20he'll be in pain
44:20he's broken the screen of his bike again
44:22he's done that a couple of times this season hasn't he
44:25in celebration
44:26oh dear
44:28oh dear
44:29tyre pressure for Pedro Acosta
44:32under investigation
44:34because he spent the whole race
44:36on his own
44:37yep
44:37they'll have set the tyre pressure
44:39obviously assuming that he's going to be in some sort of fight
44:42but as it turned out
44:43he spent the whole race on his own
44:45that
44:46could be huge for the championship
44:48you add 8 seconds to Pedro Acosta's time
44:51it puts him back into 6th
44:5416 seconds isn't it actually
44:55it was 8 yesterday
44:5616 in the main race
44:58so
44:59it could be a closer gap than 21 here
45:02well it's going to be isn't it
45:03I'm pretty certain because they've got the data
45:05I was about to say that
45:05it's triggered something for the message to come up
45:08what they have to do then is
45:11do a double check
45:12go and check the tyre in person
45:15yeah you know how they do that
45:17he has to come into the pits and then someone just
45:19pushes on it
45:20with the thumbs
45:21with the thumbs
45:21two thumbs though
45:22yeah two thumbs
45:25oh what a shame for Pedro Acosta
45:30yep and when you ride all by yourself
45:33this is the sort of thing that can happen
45:34Jorge Martín will have set his pressure
45:37to lead
45:37a little bit higher
45:38because he knew that he's going to lead the race
45:41yes
45:43Pedro Acosta will have set it lower thinking
45:46I'll be in a scrap
45:47I'll be in a mix here
45:50so I've got a worrying feeling
45:53that this might be the
45:54would it be the first time we've lost a podium this year
45:57because of the tyre pressure
46:00what about Fabio Gazza
46:01was he on the podium
46:03good question was it not fourth in that situation
46:06I can't honestly
46:08can't remember
46:09he went back to 10th didn't he on that occasion
46:10oh here we go
46:11Nakagami Acosta and Binder
46:16oh dear
46:16oh dear oh dear
46:18it doesn't take that long to do it
46:20but they obviously have to get the bike back first
46:22look at that Neil
46:23that race
46:24obviously he crashed out of it last year
46:26but 15.9 seconds
46:28nearly 16 seconds quicker
46:30that is three quarters of a second a lap
46:32that's unbelievable
46:35he could be in for some really good news
46:36Baniak
46:37I mean
46:38could be
46:39what a treat
46:40for him
46:41all of a sudden you've just gained another
46:43four points
46:46the way this championship is going
46:47that can make the difference
46:49between being world champion for the third time
46:51or finishing second in the world
46:54look the
46:55Gas Gas team will rightly celebrate this one
46:58and there is a possibility it may go away
47:01and there will be people Neil at home
47:03frustrated with the fact that we are in this situation
47:05with tyre pressures
47:06but
47:07one thing I will say
47:09I don't want mean to diminish anything
47:10is the rules are the same for everybody out there
47:13every single rider
47:14yeah the people at home
47:16disappointed
47:18so are me and Gav
47:19everyone in the panic is with
47:21this situation we've got
47:23the annoying part is that Michelin
47:25are not going to bring out a new tyre for next year
47:27so it's going to be an ongoing
47:29situation that
47:31is far from ideal
47:32we knew it was a threat here
47:33yes we did
47:34in this race
47:35heading into it
47:38yeah the riders were having it
47:40just thinking if it's Acosta he was all by himself
47:42Binder was at the head of a group wasn't he
47:45I'll tell you what though if you were
47:47the
47:48if you're KTM
47:48if you get the Gas Gas team you'd be
47:51giving this man his second place bonus
47:57would you
47:58absolutely
48:00because he's done his job
48:02he isn't in control of
48:04the amount of pressure that goes in that front tyre
48:05yeah I understand that
48:07I do appreciate that
48:08but we'll be
48:09the rider in fourth Frankie Morbidelli will be saying
48:11yeah but if I'd have put my tyre pressure lower
48:14look he's gone to turn 16 where he crashed
48:16and he's banging the floor
48:18the marshals surrounding
48:20fantastic the marshals here
48:22great I saw them when the
48:24they were going around on the riders parade earlier
48:26all the marshals trying to get little pictures
48:28and try to get their
48:29marshals helmet signed by the riders
48:33Martin
48:35has this uncanny ability to pick himself back up
48:38and he's done it again
48:40little blast from the Ducati
48:44as he comes back down pit lane
48:47win number three of the year
48:48but
48:49the fact is his first win
48:51since France and what a time to do it
48:53with everything that's gone on
48:55over the last couple of weekends
49:04it was his to lose today
49:05it was
49:06it was and he lost it yesterday
49:08and that's why he's so chuffed
49:10and he's so pleased
49:13unfortunately I'm well
49:14Carmelo nearly
49:15nearly got wiped out
49:18the boss
49:21I just
49:23do you know what
49:23I've not seen him celebrate like this
49:25no no no
49:26you're right this is
49:27such a huge
