00:00I've been to eight county fairs and one goat rodeo, I've never seen anything like that.
00:07Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the most memorable,
00:12awesome, and impactful zombie kills seen throughout the iconic show, The Walking Dead.
00:17It's gotta be the brain, don't y'all know nothing?
00:22Number 30, Judith saves the group.
00:25Come on this way, it's clear! Go, go, go, go!
00:30Well, we suppose it was only a matter of time before little Judith grew up.
00:34This episode from Season 9 is a doozy,
00:37dispatching of Rick for the time being and flashing forward six years. After a smooth
00:42transition, we see a small group of survivors fighting off and eventually being surrounded
00:46by a horde of zombies. And that's when shots ring out from off-screen, picking off a few
00:51walkers and allowing the group to escape. They then meet their savior, little Judith Grimes,
00:57all grown up, holding a massive revolver and sporting her late brother's cowboy hat.
01:02And yes, taking up her father's mantle as hero and savior.
01:10Judith. Judith Grimes.
01:14Number 29, Morgan saves Daryl and Aaron.
01:17You ready? Yeah. We're going free.
01:24Lenny James made a huge impression in the pilot, playing the grieving but resilient
01:28Morgan Jones. And after a few guest appearances and much fan demand,
01:33he finally joined the main cast in Season 5. And what an introduction it was.
01:38Daryl and Aaron are stuck in a car, but just when they're about to make a desperate escape,
01:42Morgan arrives and saves them with his staff. Like a seasoned pro, he whacks, stabs, trips,
01:48and impales a number of walkers, all while leading Daryl and Aaron to safety behind a fence.
01:54Now that's what we call a heroic rescue. Welcome back, Morgan.
01:58That was...oh, thank you.
02:05Number 28, rolling logs.
02:08Tara, what's going on out there?
02:10That second siren isn't going off. If the herd isn't pulled soon,
02:13they're gonna run right into our crew.
02:15Logs are heavy. Heads are squishy. You can see where we're going with this.
02:20A huge group of walkers starts shambling their way up a hill,
02:23and wouldn't you know it, there's a big stack of logs right at the top.
02:27Rick shoots the rope holding the wood together and plays bowling with the zombies.
02:31And the results are glorious. Walkers trip, get pushed over, fall underneath the logs,
02:38and all to very grisly results. It's the type of creative ingenuity that both
02:43Rick and the show are known for, and we are totally here for it.
02:50Number 27, Eugene sprays down some zombies.
03:00Abraham and company stumble across a fire station with a kind of working truck.
03:05A huge group of zombies escapes from the station while Abraham tries to fix the vehicle,
03:10and their numbers are so great they soon surround the group.
03:13But thinking quickly and saving his buddies below,
03:16Eugene activates the truck's fire hose and gives the zombies a very messy spray down.
03:21Their rotting bodies meet the extremely high pressure of the water,
03:24and the latter tears through the former like butter. Does it make sense? We don't really care.
03:30It looks cool, and that is all that matters to us.
03:33There is a Goodwill over there by the bookstore. It's pretty blown up,
03:36but there might be some supplies. Some dry clothes, maybe?
03:40Number 26, Michonne's rampage.
03:47If there's one thing Michonne is really good at, it's lopping off limbs with her katana.
03:53That talent is on full display in season three's Home. The governor attacks the prison and crashes
03:59a truck through the gate, filling the outer yard with zombies. And that is when Michonne springs
04:04into action. In a heroic attempt to save Herschel, Michonne runs through the yard and makes quick
04:10work of the walkers with her sharp blade. We love when Michonne displays her abilities,
04:14and the filming style here is quite unique,
04:16with the camera smoothly and steadily following Michonne as she conducts her grisly business.
04:21You okay?
04:22Yeah, it's gonna be okay.
04:25Number 25, Tara's gunbutt kill.
04:27Why would you want my help?
04:32I don't want it, I need it.
04:34This episode is largely remembered for introducing Abraham, Eugene, and Rosita.
04:38And while that's definitely cool, it comes after a star-making zombie kill from Tara.
04:43Glenn collapses after fighting off some walkers, and Tara tries desperately to wake him.
04:48As she's doing so, a zombie suddenly appears and grabs her from behind. Thinking fast,
04:53she pushes the zombie away, grabs Glenn's rifle, and makes quick work of his head with the butt
04:58of the gun. Tara goes absolutely ballistic on this zombie, letting out a ton of pent-up
05:03frustration with every hard whack. And for those who come to The Walking Dead for the
05:07gory zombie kills, well, you're in for a messy treat.
05:11You got a damn mouth on you, you know that?
05:13What else you got?
05:14Number 24, Tyrese takes on an entire horde by himself.
05:19Damned up. I'm gonna make a run for the gaps right there.
05:22Just so you can make a run for the woods and you don't stop for nothing, you hear me?
05:25Throughout this fourth season episode, Tyrese is in a bit of a funk.
05:29Karen and David have been killed by an unknown assailant,
05:32Rick just beat him up, and Sasha is both sick and in quarantine.
05:36But Tyrese is still a bit of a punk.
05:40Rick just beat him up, and Sasha is both sick and in quarantine.
05:44So yeah, not a good day for the poor guy.
05:46But this simmering anger is unleashed in furious fashion on a large horde of walkers
05:51that attack his car. While at first he seems resigned to his fate, Tyrese eventually snaps
05:57out of it and fights for his life. He takes on the entire horde by himself, and with nothing
06:02but his brute strength and signature hammer. Now that is one tough dude.
06:07Come on.
06:12Number 23, Squeezed Through the Fence.
06:15Rick!
06:16Dale!
06:19Oh, shit.
06:23This scene takes the term crowd crush to a whole new level.
06:27Zombies attack the prison, but find themselves barricaded by the large outer defenses.
06:32But as more and more walkers gather, the ones at the front find themselves being squished
06:36into the fence. Literally. The pressure eventually builds to such a great degree
06:41that a zombie's head is squeezed through the holes like Play-Doh. The shot only lingers
06:46for a second, but it's more than enough to leave a permanent imprint on the mind.
06:50We're still thinking about this one,
06:52as it is definitely one of the most memorable and grossest ways the show killed a zombie.
06:58It's us!
06:59It's part of the fence now!
07:01Number 22, Shiva Gets to Work.
07:03No, I'm not! I'm not your king! I'm not your majesty!
07:09Like, a freaking tiger eats a zombie! Need we say more?
07:12The character of Shiva had enormous potential,
07:15and that potential is paid off in full in the climax of this eighth season episode.
07:20Ezekiel finds himself at a low point, injured and talking himself down as just some guy.
07:25And just when his energy is at its lowest,
07:27his pet Bengal tiger comes a-callin' and sacrifices herself.
07:31She pounces on one of the zombies, bites its head and neck,
07:34and then tosses its lifeless body into some nearby barrels.
07:38Not only is the kill itself awesome, but so is the filmmaking,
07:42with the special effects and stunt work integrating seamlessly.
07:46Please, Jerry!
07:48Dammit, let me help her!
07:53I can't.
07:54Number 21, One Giant Fall.
08:01One giant fall, one giant fall.
08:05There are genius ways to dispose of zombies,
08:07and tricking them into walking off a cliff is certainly one of them.
08:11Carol and Lydia lead the horde to a huge drop-off,
08:14and they mindlessly walk over the edge.
08:17Hundreds of zombies fall off the side and plummet to the water far below.
08:20It's one of the best visuals the show has ever produced,
08:24and the accompanying strings add a nice element of drama to the scenario.
08:28Within minutes, the cliff is totally clear,
08:30and hundreds of zombies have been splattered.
08:33It's something we hadn't seen before,
08:35and it was nice seeing The Walking Dead remain so inventive even ten seasons into its run.
08:45Number 20, Dispatching the Walker in the Well.
08:48During season two, the group finds themselves on Herschel's farm,
08:52which seems to have all the food and safety they could want,
08:55but they run into a huge issue when an undead friend finds its way into the nearby well.
09:00How long do you think it's been down there?
09:02Long enough to grow gills.
09:04We can't leave it in there.
09:05God knows what it's doing in the water.
09:07All right, we gotta get it out.
09:08To make sure the survivors don't pull an opposite day and consume walker water,
09:13they concoct an elaborate plan to remove it.
09:15I'm worried about a bug.
09:16Hey, we're gonna get you out of here in one piece.
09:19Living piece.
09:20The living part is important.
09:22A reluctant Glenn has to be lowered down into the well,
09:26so they can tie a rope around their enemy and pull it out.
09:29The tense sequence ends with the walker falling apart in a memorable and disgusting scene.
09:35An understandably angry T-Dog makes sure to finish off what's left of his foe.
09:40Jeez, we hope you weren't eating anything when you watched this.
09:43Good thing we didn't do anything stupid like shoot it.
09:46Number 19, Maggie Slays with a Street Sign.
09:49We should go.
09:51I thought we were looking for Glenn.
09:53If he saw one of these, he would go looking for me looking for him.
09:56After losing her relatively comfortable home at the prison
09:59and getting separated from most of her allies,
10:01Maggie becomes desperate to find her husband Glenn.
10:04She is so dead set on reuniting with him,
10:07that she leaves her remaining friends and goes on a solo journey to find him.
10:11She didn't want us to come.
10:13She made her choice for her.
10:16I don't care.
10:17She's alone.
10:18When Sasha catches up with Maggie, they accidentally attract a group of walkers.
10:22A frustrated and enraged Maggie takes out her frustrations
10:26on her undead foes with a street sign.
10:28She's able to make quick work of her enemies with the sharp weapon.
10:32Although Maggie didn't get the reunion she wanted,
10:35she gave us an incredibly badass new way to slay walkers.
10:39Number 18, Daryl Pulls Out a Win.
10:44Sophia!
10:45While desperately trying to find Carol's lost daughter Sophia,
10:48Daryl endures serious pain after tumbling down a ridge
10:52and falling on one of his own arrows.
10:54One attempt to climb to the top results in another fall,
10:57and disturbing visions of his brother taunting him.
11:00You're gonna die out here, little brother.
11:03And for what?
11:04Carol.
11:08I lost our little Carol.
11:09Fortunately, Merle's less-than-kind words are exactly the motivation Daryl needs
11:14to fight the walker nipping at his boots.
11:17In his delirious stupor,
11:19he finds the clarity to remove the bolt that injured him
11:22and repurpose it to slay an enemy.
11:24Even when Daryl is in the direst of situations,
11:28enemy walkers do not stand a chance.
11:30You're welcome.
11:32How's he looking?
11:33I had no idea we'd be going through antibiotics so quickly.
11:36Number 17, Rick Wastes Winslow.
11:40You need to know you're real with this,
11:42and you're worth it.
11:49When Rick is forced to prove his mettle to Jadis and the Scavengers,
11:52he's thrown into a pit of garbage with a very unique walker named Winslow.
11:57Since the walker is covered with metal spikes,
12:00it's nearly impossible for Officer Friendly to get near the metallic monster.
12:04Rick even gets injured while trying to push Winslow away.
12:07This forces Mr. Grimes to get creative.
12:10The wall!
12:12Use them!
12:20After listening to Michonne's advice,
12:21he uses the surrounding trash to pin the walker.
12:24Rick cements his victory by using a piece of glass to dispatch the metallic walker.
12:29While it might not be the most flashy final attack,
12:32the unique challenges Winslow presented were enough to make its end unforgettable.
12:36He had that thing down there for someone to prove themselves.
12:42No, his name was Winslow.
12:44Number 16, Daryl Tees Up Walkers.
12:47We might as well do something.
12:50I can take care of myself, and I'm gonna get a damn drink.
12:54After her prison home falls, Beth decides she'd like to drown her sorrows with a strong drink.
12:59She eventually finds a country club that has the drinks she's looking for...
13:03and a few hungry walkers.
13:05Fortunately, Daryl takes advantage of their upscale setting by using a golf club as a melee
13:09weapon. He takes down enemies left and right with a furious flurry of hard swings. He's such a
13:15natural with the club that we think he could qualify for an apocalyptic PGA tour.
13:20Although the drinks at the club ultimately aren't up to par for the survivors,
13:24at least we got to appreciate Daryl's amazing golfing technique.
13:28I ain't gonna have your first drink. Be no damn peach slobs.
13:32Number 15, Andrea's DIY Attack.
13:35Promdale.
13:36Oh, this is a small matter of being stuck in the middle of nowhere with no hope of...
13:40While the group's on the move, an overworked RV and a highway
13:44pileup stops them in their tracks... before a horde of undead arrives.
13:49While almost everyone else hides beneath abandoned cars,
13:52Andrea is trapped inside the vehicle with a dismantled gun and an approaching walker.
13:57When she tries to hide in the bathroom,
13:59she desperately struggles to keep herself from getting bitten.
14:02Fortunately, Dale manages to drop her a screwdriver from the roof.
14:05Andrea proceeds to give the walker an up-close-and-personal view of the tool.
14:09Her awesome DIY death blow showed that she didn't need a gun to take down walkers.
14:14Just a matter of time.
14:15Can't be soon enough for me. I'm still freaked out from that herd that passes by.
14:20Or whatever you'd call it.
14:21Number 14, Shredding Walkers.
14:26Jadis had one of the worst weeks in Walking Dead history.
14:29After betraying Rick and siding with Negan,
14:32the Saviors take out every single living person in her community of scavengers.
14:37As if that wasn't bad enough,
14:38Jadis ends up alone in a junkyard surrounded by all her undead friends.
14:43What happened here?
14:45The Savior.
14:48Well, how do we get out?
14:51Get out? How you got in?
14:54Upon realizing that no one is coming to save her,
14:57she resolves to put down her former comrades by way of a giant shredder.
15:02She places herself just over the gap of the shredder,
15:05and leads the zombified scavengers to their demise.
15:08The resulting scene is as gruesome as it is tragic.
15:11Although her methods are incredibly effective,
15:14Jadis still has to go through the painful experience
15:17of shredding everyone she cared about.
15:19You did this.
15:22This is because of you.
15:23Number 13, Taking Care of Sophia.
15:26I think it's time that we all start to just consider the other possibility.
15:30We're not leaving Sophia behind.
15:31I'm close to finding this girl.
15:33I just found a damn doll a few days ago.
15:35After Carol's daughter Sophia gets lost,
15:37the group spends a large part of the second season looking for her.
15:40The tension slowly rises between members of the group,
15:43as they tirelessly comb the area for any trace of her.
15:47This makes it all the more heartbreaking when it turns out
15:50that Sophia has been in Herschel's barn all along.
15:52As she slowly walks towards the group,
15:55everyone is visibly shaken.
16:03Ultimately, Rick steps up and solemnly puts the reanimated Sophia down.
16:08The jarring and incredibly sad nature of her demise
16:12marked a huge turning point for the series.
16:14If someone like Sophia could die,
16:16then any of the survivors could.
16:18This is Sophia.
16:23The whole group.
16:27This one was different.
16:28Number 12, The Last of Us.
16:30This one was different.
16:32Number 12, The Governor Eliminates a Pit of Walkers.
16:36I've been on the road for a couple of months.
16:39By yourself?
16:42Yeah.
16:43The governor becomes incredibly unstable after losing Woodbury.
16:46However, he's able to find some solace with a small family of survivors.
16:50He forms an especially strong connection with a girl named Megan,
16:54who resembles his daughter Penny.
16:56I'm a pirate.
16:58No way.
17:00Yeah, you caught me.
17:08When they fall into a walker trap,
17:10he proceeds to take out every single shambling enemy that dared to come near him.
17:15Each one gets a more brutal demise than the last.
17:18After using a combination of improvised weapons and his bare hands,
17:22he and Megan are the only ones left moving in the pit.
17:25If you've ever wondered how savage the governor can get,
17:28his time in the walker trap should answer your question.
17:31I'm sorry.
17:32Okay, all right.
17:36I'm never gonna let anything happen to you.
17:38Number 11, Michonne Gives the Governor a Penny for His Thoughts.
17:42After vowing revenge on the governor for his shady actions,
17:46Michonne sneaks into his quarters and encounters a macabre scene.
17:49The governor seems to have a living captive restrained in his quarters.
17:53It's okay.
17:56I'm not gonna hurt you.
17:58But she's soon surprised to learn that the prisoner is the governor's zombified daughter,
18:02Penny.
18:02When the governor finds the katana-wielding survivor ready to put his reanimated relative
18:06down,
18:07he expresses uncharacteristic vulnerability and begs for mercy.
18:11There's no need for her to suffer.
18:15She doesn't have needs.
18:17Although it looks like Michonne will relent for a brief moment,
18:20she swiftly puts Penny down for good.
18:23This choice leads to one iconic brawl and an even more unhinged governor.
18:28Since Penny's demise has tons of horrific consequences,
18:32it is one of the most pivotal slayings in the series.
18:35You're what you came for.
18:37Why the rest of you people?
18:38Number 10, Daryl's Trunkslam.
18:41As Daryl is traveling with his older brother, Merle,
18:44they hear screams and shots.
18:46Hey, man!
18:46I ain't wasting my voice on a couple of strangers.
18:49They ain't never cooked me a meal or felicitated my peace.
18:52While the eldest sibling refuses to help,
18:54the younger man rushes to the aid of a family.
18:57After taking down a few walkers,
18:58Daryl sees one making its way through the back of a vehicle that contains two innocent people.
19:03He wastes no time before dragging the walker out by its ankles
19:07and finishing it off with the trunk door.
19:09His save was both stylish and a great way to
19:12aptly demonstrate the difference between the two brothers.
19:15Get out of the car.
19:18I know you're not talking to me, brother.
19:22Get in your car and get the hell out of here.
19:24While Merle might be willing to leave people to walkers,
19:27Daryl's always ready to take the undead down in the coolest ways possible.
19:31They were rude is what they were.
19:33Rude and they owed us a token of gratitude.
19:35I didn't owe us nothing.
19:36After you helping people out of the goodness of your heart,
19:39even though you might die doing it,
19:41is that something your sheriff Rick taught you?
19:43Number 9, Taking Out Walkers With Her Hands Tied.
19:46If we give the governor a show,
19:50Woodbury stands down.
19:53I don't like it, but it's what needs to be done.
19:55We need to make it quiet.
19:56When Rick is debating whether he should really turn Michonne over to the governor
20:00to ensure the safety of his group,
20:02Merle takes the decision out of Sheriff Friendly's hands.
20:05The eldest Dixon brother captures her and binds her wrists to prevent her escape.
20:10While you'd think that would leave her helpless and exposed,
20:12this is Michonne we're talking about.
20:16Merle!
20:19Watch out!
20:22Merle!
20:24When walkers attack,
20:26she uses what's available,
20:27herself,
20:28her binds,
20:29and a post to take out two walkers.
20:32Michonne's actions are both brutal and resourceful.
20:35So in a nutshell,
20:36Michonne gave us everything we love about a Walking Dead kill in one scene.
20:41Didn't ask him to do this little job now, did he?
20:44No, because he wants it done.
20:46Number 8, Daryl Puts Merle Down.
20:49Hey, little brother.
20:51What the hell?
20:53I was just about to holler back at you.
20:57What you doing down here?
20:59The Dixon brothers had a notoriously complex and rocky relationship long before the outbreak.
21:04Their twisted bond comes to a sad and satisfying conclusion in this sorrowful life.
21:10In the episode,
21:11Merle finds good within himself and attacks the governor and his troops alone.
21:15Unfortunately, he doesn't survive his solo mission.
21:19I ain't gonna beg.
21:21I ain't begging you.
21:24No.
21:27After Merle turns into a walker,
21:29Daryl arrives on the scene and finds his brother making snacks out of the governor's troops.
21:34The youngest Dixon sibling is barely able to look at his older brother before anger takes over.
21:39Daryl eliminates his reanimated brother in a fit of rage and sadness.
21:44To this day, fans still get choked up while watching Merle's extremely emotional end.
21:49No one can make it alone now.
21:53They never could.
21:54Number 7, Carol's Fireworks.
21:57We need to set off our charges all at the same time to confuse the dead ones away.
22:00That's good for you, too.
22:01No, it isn't.
22:03There's a herd heading toward Terminus right now.
22:06We don't want to confuse them away.
22:08The Walking Dead is no stranger to dispatching walkers in explosive ways.
22:13How can we forget when Rick blew up a bridge to take out a horde?
22:17However, the explosion at Terminus managed to leave an even bigger impact.
22:21After Carol spent time away from most of Rick's group,
22:24she discovers they were captured by horrific enemies.
22:27She takes it upon herself to completely dismantle the complex and free her friends.
22:31Carol starts her rescue mission with a bang,
22:34by shooting a gas tank and using a firework to blow up the barriers.
22:38Sounded like a bomb.
22:40Oh, it sounds like a damn war.
22:41Right there.
22:42The awesome explosion took out quite a few walkers and allowed a bunch more to storm the compound.
22:47Carol's explosive and badass actions saved Rick and his crew from horrific fates.
22:53Did you do that?
23:01Number 6, Glenn gives a walker the chair.
23:05You don't even know why you're here, do you?
23:10I didn't mean you no harm.
23:12Taking care of the undead is difficult enough when your hands are tied.
23:15But imagine dealing with one while you're duct-taped to a chair.
23:19While Glenn is captured and restrained by the governor, he gets an unwanted visit from a walker.
23:24Alrighty, I want you to imagine how I felt fighting my way off that roof.
23:30He is quickly forced to get creative to prevent himself from getting bitten.
23:33Glenn uses everything in his surroundings to keep the walker at bay,
23:37while his hands are still bound.
23:39When he's finally able to smash the chair and get his hands free,
23:42he uses a piece of the chair to finish it off in an incredibly satisfying moment.
23:47The tense and hopeless nature of the scene made Glenn's triumph that much sweeter.
23:52So what, he won't break?
23:53Say where his people are.
23:55He's a tough son of a bitch.
23:56Pick that walker apart in minutes.
23:58Number 5, Rick shows us how the world works.
24:01It wasn't a man.
24:03You shot him.
24:03In the street, out front.
24:05A man.
24:05For him.
24:06You need glasses.
24:07It was a walker.
24:08At the beginning of The Walking Dead's groundbreaking first episode,
24:11Rick is making a routine run for gas.
24:14Suddenly, he spots a mysterious blonde figure picking up a doll.
24:17Rick quickly tries to convince her that he's not a threat.
24:20Don't be afraid, okay?
24:25Little girl.
24:26However, it turns out she's more dangerous because she's turned into a walker.
24:31Although Rick doesn't want to put down an undead figure that seems to be around the
24:35age of his own son, he takes swift and decisive action.
24:39This ambitious scene was a tremendous way to establish the grim tone and tough decisions
24:43that would define the show.
24:45Rick taught us that you have to ignore whoever the walker was before,
24:49and take them down if you want to survive.
24:52Bites kill you.
24:53The fever burns you out.
24:55But then after a while, you come back.
25:00Number 4, a fiery conclusion.
25:03Nah, we'll get them all together.
25:05Won't have to lead them away.
25:06Shortly after the city of Alexandria is overrun with walkers,
25:10the survivors are forced to fight tooth and nail against an impossibly large horde.
25:14But Daryl executes a plan that will give his friends a chance to turn things around.
25:19After dumping gas into the pond, Daryl sets it alight with an RPG,
25:23and draws most of the surrounding walkers to their fiery demise.
25:35Not only is this an amazingly smart way to turn the tide,
25:44it also directly leads into one of the show's best scenes.
25:48Upon seeing the flaming lake, every Alexandrian survivor that can use a weapon
25:53rallies and comes together to protect their city by eliminating every walker in sight.
26:02Number 3, Daryl's Chain.
26:05Daryl has an impressive mastery of weapons.
26:07From crossbows, knives, and firearms, this man can fight with pretty much whatever he picks up.
26:13One of Daryl's most impressive improvised weapons made him go full ghost rider.
26:18While Daryl and Aaron are tracking a mysterious man,
26:21they get caught in a wolf trap and are engulfed by walkers.
26:25After crawling under trailers to maneuver around them,
26:27the two begin fighting with whatever they can find.
26:31Daryl uses a chain to take out three zombies in one swing.
26:45He was such a natural with the chain that we started to suspect he had practice.
26:49Are we sure Daryl hasn't secretly been the ghost rider the entire time?
26:53Have mercy. Sorry. All out of mercy.
26:58Number 2, Rick and Michonne's Explosive Drive.
27:01This is for a herd.
27:02That's why it's a steel cable. It's not just for one walker. It's for a lot.
27:07When a walker horde approaches while the group is preoccupied,
27:10the survivors are forced to act fast before they're overrun.
27:13Rick and Michonne decide to jump into some cars with a large steel cable attached between them.
27:18They proceed to speed towards the horde and take out as many as they can.
27:24Since the show wasn't satisfied with the insane amount of walkers that were eliminated,
27:40the scene ends with a bang.
27:42After the survivors reach an escape car,
27:44they ride away while dynamite they left behind gets ready to blow.
27:48The resulting explosion takes out even more members of the horde.
27:52Although the steel cables and dynamite didn't take out all of Rick and Michonne's enemies,
27:56they still gave us a spectacular walker slaying scene.

28:33Rick and Shane's increasingly volatile relationship came to an end with this historic scene.
28:38An unhinged Shane tries to take out Rick and take control of the group of survivors,
28:44but Mr. Grimes foils this power grab by eliminating his former best bud with one
28:49swift blow to the chest. Carl arrives just in time to see the aftermath
28:54and seemingly points his gun in Rick's direction.
29:02Unbeknownst to the cop, Shane has reanimated behind him.
29:06But before the newly minted walker can hurt anyone, Carl ends the problem with one shot.
29:12The scene's intense buildup, surprising twist, and iconic ending provided the series with its
29:18most memorable walker kill. Can you think of any other memorable kills from the show?
