00:00So Mark Harris. That's me. What are you doing? Well, for everybody out there, I'm walking
00:07Land's End to John Groats, like you do, midlife crisis and that. Raising money
00:12for Macmillan, hope you can see that, my fat belly, and Cancer Research, so there's a split
00:17between the two. Add some personal issues for the reason for doing that, and a few
00:24friends and stuff that have suffered along the way. So yeah, that's the plan. It's
00:27going to take, it was going to be two months, I think we're now looking at probably three
00:31months, due to having underestimated the power of the southwest coastal path. How
00:38far is the walk in total? The walk is 1,200 miles. So if you were going to do that in two
00:43months, that's like 20 miles a day. 20 miles a day, that was the plan. This is my eighth day, and I
00:47think I'm on about a hundred miles, so it's a little bit short. Might be a bit more than that,
00:51about 110, I think. So you're like three days behind or something. Yeah, I'm about two and a half days
00:56behind schedule. But, you know, I was trying, I think in 60 days, 20 miles a day, that sounds
01:01reasonable. Unfortunately, I started off with 60 miles, 60 miles, only went down to about 10, and
01:06then it was 9, 10. I'm going to contact the Guinness Book of Records, because I'm pretty sure I will
01:14hold the record for the amount of times I've used the C word in less than 10 minutes. Pesh mode is
01:21pretty good, but even that can't make me feel less pissed off I don't know what I'm aiming.
01:29Yes, it's been hard work. I meet brilliant people on the way, and I've met a few people from school
01:36I've caught up with, and they've been very good, very generous. What, in your first week already?
01:39Yeah, first week, yeah. Are you enjoying it, that's the main thing? Yes, yes-ish, sometimes.
