00:00The National Government for the collection of heavy waste.
00:04In a short period of time,
00:07we have jointly established a general operation
00:12at all levels to achieve the target set.
00:16In the beginning,
00:18KPKT has set a target of 3,000 metric tonnes
00:22of heavy waste
00:24and a target of 50,000 people
00:26to attend the Malaysian holiday programme.
00:29However, with determination,
00:32sincerity,
00:34and cooperation from all parties,
00:36we have broken not one, but three records.
00:40In terms of numbers,
00:42we estimate that
00:43for 50,000 people,
00:45we get 58,007 people.
00:48In terms of weight,
00:49we estimate that
00:50for 3,000 tonnes,
00:51we get 4,645 tonnes.
00:56This is the longest period of heavy waste in history,
01:01from 8am to 8pm.
01:04We have broken three records.
01:10The Malaysian Holiday Programme
01:12is in line with the aspirations of the Malaysian people
01:15who are committed to the well-being
01:17and welfare of the people
01:19as their main priority.
01:21I would like to reiterate
01:23that the Malaysian Holiday Programme
01:25has been carried out
01:27in all 156 PBTs,
01:31community PBRs,
01:33prima homes,
01:34schools,
01:35government offices,
01:37public places,
01:38residential parks.
01:40The number of locations recorded and reported
01:43to KPKT is 649 locations
01:49in one day.
01:51However, I believe
01:52that the actual number is far greater
01:55than this number
01:56based on the efforts
01:58that have been made
01:59in a large scale.
02:01With the achievements
02:03that have made history
02:05in this country,
02:06KPKT also aspires
02:08to make the Malaysian Holiday
02:13as an annual event
02:16and one of the ministries' agendas.
02:19Therefore,
02:20I would like to announce
02:24that the Malaysian Holiday
02:26in 2025
02:31will be held
02:33on the last Saturday
