00:00Patrick can't lay wins four points from five sessions. Uh
00:07Colin Morikawa also wins four points from five sessions as
00:10does Sanders Shoffley. Those were your three guys that kinda
00:13carried the team this week. Then, a guy you've been talking
00:16about a lot this week played really well and had a back and
00:19forth with Tom Kim today. It was highly entertaining. Sam
00:21Burns, three and a half points out of four sessions. Then,
00:25Russell Henley, three points in four sessions. Scotty Sheffler,
00:29three points in five sessions. Keegan Bradley, two points in
00:33three sessions. Tony Finau, two points in four sessions. Say
00:38the gala point and a half in three sessions. Windham Clark, a
00:41point and a half in four sessions. Max Homa, one point
00:45in three sessions and Brian Harmon, no points in three
00:49sessions. So, I'll let you, you know, you, that's your full
00:53list. We're both looking at it right now. Where do you wanna
00:55kinda start in terms of breaking down a player
00:57performance? Yeah, let's just start there at the top in that
01:00group. I know I mentioned Patrick Canley from what in the
01:04other two guys that had the most points was Colin Morical
01:07and Sanders Shoffley. Both of those two guys also played five
01:10sessions alongside Patrick Canley and Scotty Sheffler. I
01:14I could not have been more impressed with Colin Morical
01:18this week. He blew me away. Um he is a thousand percent all
01:23the way back. There is no doubt in my mind this guy's gonna win
01:27a major very soon. Um it just his control with his irons is
01:33unlike anything you'll ever see. It's just every shot that
01:38he hits just pin high, pin high, pin high, and then his
01:41drives off the tee. You know when a guy's driving it really
01:44well is when they get to their finish and the the shaft of the
01:48club hits the back of their their spine and the back of
01:52their neck and bounces off. Every single time, it's just so
01:56much freedom in his golf swing and just hit it so well this
02:00week. So, uh props to you for getting Colin Morical right for
02:04the most points. Uh scored for the US team and I I would have
02:07loved. We both kinda had that. I just got drafted first. Yeah.
02:10Yeah, you you drafted first. So, uh and also Xander just was a
02:14dog. Love to see him. Uh love to see him lighting up cigars
02:18anytime the US wins. It's kinda the the one thing you know you
02:22to expect out of Xander Shaffer is that he's gonna be very
02:25tough to beat and again, very tough to beat this week. Uh
02:28yeah. Couldn't have been more impressed as well with just how
02:31hard he is hitting the golf ball. Uh I think people just
02:35don't realize how ridiculously far he's hitting it. It's just
02:39so impressive to watch him drive it and you know, he's
02:41there was you had him in one of those groups where you were
02:43just noting that it it was II forget which hole II I should
02:47have written it down but just where he had a wedge in where
02:49other guys were hitting like mid and long irons and just the
02:52the leap he's made this past year. It's amazing. It's
02:55insane. He's cruising cruising and like mid 180s which you
03:00know, if I swing as hard as I can, I'll be lucky to touch
03:03mid 180s. So, it's it's it's just so impressive to watch,
03:08you know, a guy work his tail off, you know, being so good in
03:11the weight room, uh completely change his game by just, you
03:14know, working his tail off and having really good technique
03:17and a good coach to be able to maximize, you know, hard work
03:20and and effort and be able to get the results from it. Yeah,
03:23I think that group, I mean, just to start back at the top
03:26with with Colin Morikawa, it just this whole year, it's just
03:30it's insane that he did not win a tournament this year
03:33although he did, he won the tour championship, right? And
03:36and I would stop you. Well, that's the irony of the year,
03:39right? Is that he actually, he won the one event where it's
03:41not starting at zero for everybody but I mean, this to
03:45me is a great finish for him on a great year and you know, I
03:48don't know how much he wants to play in the fall or plans to
03:51play in the fall but I just hope he kinda keeps that. I
03:54I'd assume he plays Zozo. I'd assume he defended Zozo. Um not
03:58sure where else he's gonna play but I I think that I just hope
04:01he carries this momentum into 2025. Yes. He's putting it so
04:05good. I mean, as you mentioned, the ball striking is just, it's
04:09back to where he was when he was winning those majors, you
04:12know, in 2020 and twenty-one.
