00:00Assalam-o-Alaikum, Doctor, it's a privilege to be with you here in this interactive session
00:05and welcome to Pakistan. I'm Alina Shigri from ABN News.
00:08You just mentioned the 15-point action plan that what we can do, so what is the way forward
00:16for the people of Gaza? Should they continue with their Jihad and fight against Israel?
00:22And is Jihad mandatory under such circumstances? And the second part of my question is, for
00:29a society that's facing suppression, that faces violence against women, children, minorities,
00:38how can such society be healed under Islamic teachings?
00:42My first question to you is, what is the solution for the Muslims in Gaza? Should they continue with their Jihad?
00:49First of all, the meaning of Jihad is important. Jihad is like going for a battlefield.
01:01Yes, that's one type of Jihad. But often, Jihad is to strive and struggle.
01:06One of the higher levels is Jihad against one's own self.
01:10And I have said that what the Muslims are doing in Gaza today, according to me, they are fulfilling their duty.
01:19They are protecting the third holiest site. The third holiest site in the world, which is the Aqsa Mosque,
01:26they are protecting that. If they are not doing it, then it will be our duty.
01:30So, according to me, they are fulfilling their duty.
01:33And the fatwa that Mufti Sahab gave in Pakistan, Mufti Taqi Usmani of Deoband,
01:42the fatwa that he gave in the conference last December, according to me, it was wonderful.
01:49So, Mufti Taqi Usmani Sahab said, in December, which was two months before the war,
01:56according to him, the ceasefire should not be wrong.
02:00The Gaza war should not be a ceasefire. He said that the bombardment on Gaza should stop.
02:07The bombardment on Gaza should stop.
02:12And the people of Gaza should continue fighting against the Jews till the last Jew leaves Palestine.
02:22So, this fatwa, MashaAllah, such a harsh fatwa, and I swear, it was harsh.
02:28So, he was saying that it is a duty for the people of Gaza.
02:31If they don't do it, then the next one, which is near, will be done on us too.
02:35So, the fatwa that he gave, MashaAllah, it was wonderful and MashaAllah, it was the right fatwa.
02:41So, but the people of Gaza who are protesting, it is opening our eyes.
02:48When we read the verses of the Holy Qur'an, when we read their meanings,
02:53and when we read the Hadith, that how the companions were,
02:56we don't believe that such people are alive.
02:59Now we see that a mother, if her child is martyred,
03:04she is saying to Allah that if you give me ten sons, then I will sacrifice them in your name.
03:11And the non-Muslims who see this, that what kind of religion is this?
03:16Who is this Allah for whom their children are being killed?
03:21They are facing so many compulsions, so many atrocities,
03:25still they say Alhamdulillah, praise be to Allah, still they say MashaAllah.
03:30So, how did this happen? What kind of religion is this?
03:32Because of this, MashaAllah, millions of non-Muslims, especially in Western countries,
03:37they started reading the Holy Qur'an, and in one year,
03:40millions of non-Muslims accepted Islam, only because of Gaza.
03:45So, they are doing Jihad and Dawah together.
03:48So, simultaneously they are doing two things.
03:51And they are teaching us Islam. They are doing Islam.
03:55So, they are doing Jihad, Islam and Dawah.
03:57This is called killing three birds with one stone.
04:04So, may Allah give the martyr Zainuddin Firdaus.
04:07May Allah give him patience.
04:10And, InshaAllah, may Allah give him victory.
