00:00Alright, hi people, it's JZRam here to do a massive, I guess, re-unboxing video of Boruto

00:10Naruto Next Generations, um, the entire series, uh, the volumes, by Viz Media, all 18, yeah,

00:21um, so yeah, so they released these over the last several years, um, and, basically, finally

00:32got them done, uh, the month before I'm recording this, which I think is also when it'll come

00:37out, so, yeah, um, so 18 volumes, it's, trying to remember, okay, 293 episodes, same number

00:49as Dragon Ball Z, no, that's 291, so two episodes more than Dragon Ball Z, but, yeah, um, they're

00:57currently working on a sequel series, the manga for that started already, and the first

01:02volume is up for pre-order for Viz Media, the anime for it has yet to, uh, premiere,

01:10but, yeah, they are going to, uh, get that out at some point soon, so, yeah, um, it's

01:25interesting that we have all of Boruto on Blu-ray, uh, before Naruto Shippuden got all

01:31of its Blu-ray releases, and funnily enough, it'll be the same number of volumes, because

01:36Naruto Shippuden's still gonna be 18 volumes, and this is 18 volumes, so, yeah, um, but

01:43we do have the entire original Naruto series on Blu-ray, as well as the three movies, we

01:49have all eight, I believe it is, of the Naruto Shippuden movies on Blu-ray, so, yeah, getting

01:55a good amount of stuff from Naruto on Blu-ray, so that's good, but, yeah, um, making our

02:04way, so, yeah, um, so, basically, let's get into it, I did do a massive re-unboxing of

02:14the individual Naruto sets, uh, all together, as well as the steelbook for the three Naruto

02:21movies, so, yeah, eventually, when, um, Shippuden is all released in, like, what, like, three

02:30or four years, um, I'm going to, uh, do a similar video for all of those volumes, and

02:39all of the Shippuden movies, so, yeah, get ready for that when it happens. But, without

02:46any further ado, let's get started, shall we? Also, I initially, um, titled these videos,

02:53most of these videos, and then the ones for the manga, Boruto Naruto The Next, er, yeah,

02:59Boruto Naruto The Next Generation, but, yeah, um, it's just Boruto Naruto Next Generations,

03:06um, but, yeah. So, we have set one, the only one I don't have a slipcover for is, um, the

03:18Mujina gang, um, and that's because it came without a slipcover, because I ordered it,

03:24I didn't get it when it came out, I ordered several different sets, um, all at once, I

03:30believe when they were on sale on Amazon at some point, um, recently, so, yeah, um, because

03:36I didn't want to buy them when they were new, but, yeah, so I waited until a bunch of them

03:42were released, and I could get them all at once, for less money, so, yeah. But we have

03:46set one, you got Boruto, Sarada, and him, I have yet to watch the series, I watched

03:53the movie, but that was a while ago. Yeah, so you have set one, episodes one to thirteen,

03:58they will eventually, like, up that to, uh, like, more episodes, like, one more disc per

04:06set, usually. Yeah, so here we go, with this. I realize that there's a haze around, uh,

04:18this, it's mainly due to the lens being covered up, um, hopefully that's better. There we

04:27go. And on the back, you got the kids of the other Naruto characters, two to set, thirteen

04:34episodes, English and Japanese stereo, 2.0 audio, 6 to 9, English subtitles, special

04:39features, English cast interview, Boruto OVA, storyboards, art gallery, clean opening and

04:44ending, and more. So you have Biz, Warner Bros, Shonen Jump, approximately 300 minutes,

04:50Region A, 2014, and all that. Most of this stuff I will be skipping as I go along here,

04:57because I already, like, introduced all that, so yeah. So here we go with the

05:01Blu-ray case, and on the inside you got the discs, and the inside artwork.

05:16So, yeah.

05:17Set two,

05:27episodes fourteen and twenty-six, whereas the first one was the first thirteen episodes.

05:38So, yeah, we got set two,

05:47oh my god that's Sakura Sasuke and Satoru, even though I don't agree with them being together,

06:01because of how stuff was in the original series. But yeah, set three,

06:17I also really hate all these earlier sets of the recycled cases, because they're less,

06:29like, structurally intact because of the spindles holding the discs having less, like,

06:43no backing, really. Set four,

07:04and this is already a better case.

07:06Yeah, it's not a recycled case, which is good.

07:10Feels more structurally intact and has a better weight to it.

07:26Set five,

07:42this is 320 minutes,

07:47yeah.

07:56So,

08:08imagine at some point they may re-release these and, like,

08:11with, like, repackaging the discs with, like, four discs a set or something like that.

08:17But we'll see. This media doesn't do a ton of re-releases unless if it's on, like,

08:22a new format like Book Array, so.

08:35And it's right, right, it's with this that they stopped calling them numbers for some reason

08:41and instead went with subtitles. It says Mitsuki's Will,

08:46which is stupid because they have the set numbers right on the back.

08:49Why don't they just call it Set This and then the subtitles? I don't understand that at all.

08:59So,

09:14set seven Onoki's Will, which, well, we'll find out if I, um,

09:21if I have these in the wrong order, but I don't think I do. Yep, set seven.

09:26Back to 300 minutes, okay.

09:45That was, uh, Naruto's kid, right? I know, him, okay.

09:55You can actually start watching this show.

09:59Shadow of the Cursed Mark, set eight.

10:05There's a reason why in the original unboxing videos for this I, um,

10:11titled them Set This and then put the, uh, subtitles. That makes, that makes it less confusing.

10:18So, I actually genuinely got confused at some point, um, when ordering these.

10:24I think it led to me not having one of the volumes, so I had to order it

10:30separately when I was ordering a bunch of them at once.

10:35And then set nine, the Ninja Team's Scrolls.

10:52336 minutes.

10:53Very good. For some reason this was dislodged.

11:27I did rip these discs to my computer, so I don't, I'm pretty sure I put it back though,

11:33correctly, so I don't know what the hell happened there.

11:48And, uh, I did not check to see if that was the right set. Yeah, it was. Very good.

11:59This should be set ten. Yep.

12:03Borzo back in time. I like this, like, artwork. It's different from the rest of the sets, um,

12:12and it's not just either, like, regular artwork, um, but it's like in this old, like, Japanese,

12:19like, paintbrush style that I actually really like, at least in terms of the coloring.

12:34You know, you got your eye on the fucking Kabuki stuff.

12:38And this is where they have three sets of discs, or three disc sets. Three discs, a set.

12:44What the hell. Three, three minutes.

12:52Although, I think it's the next one, they're, like, inconsistent on how many discs there are,

12:59sets. At one point, they go back to having just two.

13:21Yeah, I think this is just a two-disc set.

13:23The Mugina gang, and again, I don't have the slipcover with this.

13:27This is set eleven. Yep, two discs. I don't know why they did this, but whatever.

13:43This is like, they did a three-disc set, then a two-disc set,

13:45then I think they went back to three right after. Yeah.

13:48So, it's a twelve-kara actuation, I'm assuming. It's either kara or kara,

13:57I'm pretty sure it's kara, though, because it's Japanese.

14:03Five hundred minutes.

14:04I only got a disc one of the artwork.

14:21Ah, interesting, they broke up the artwork that's, some of the character artwork that's on

14:28this, because this is, this is this guy from the slipcover,

14:33this is Akamaru, no not Akamaru,

14:41trying to remember his name for, but I can't for the life of me.

14:49This is him from the back. I know someone in the comments is going to be like,

14:53how can you not remember? Konohamaru, there we go, Konohamaru.

15:03I think this is a two-disc set as well, the vessel.

15:13Yeah, two-disc set again. We're in ten minutes.

15:22Again, don't know why they did this.

15:27Could easily just have two more three-disc sets and

15:30um, save a volume or two.

15:37But whatever.

15:43And it's a 14 kawaki.

15:49Yeah, okay.

15:59It's probably been five minutes.

16:09All right, and this one came with a

16:13either limited or special edition poster of the artwork from the slipcover.

16:20Forgot about that. Actually looks pretty cool.

16:50So 15, the Otsutsuki Awakening.

17:02Otsutsuki, Otsutsuki? No, yeah.

17:15On the back.

17:15545 minutes, okay.

17:45And then set 16, yep, the Funara War.

17:55I do like this as well. It's also very different from the rest of the sets where it's not like

18:00the regular artwork. It's a nice like, kid's book kind of style.

18:15All right, 75 minutes. Some of these fluctuate whether they're 21 or 24 episodes. I don't

18:28understand why. Which is funny that they fit 24 episodes on three discs.

18:37I mean it's like eight episodes a disc, basically.

18:41And you have that with the other sets. Actually, no. Some of the other sets for like Naruto and

18:49whatever have like 27, 28 episodes a set. But also like some other like shows and then also

18:56Foundation will do like four discs for that amount of episodes. Like six episodes a disc,

19:05probably. So then set 17, Kowaki goes undercover.

19:19On the back, 415 minutes.

19:25Yeah, it's completely inconsistent how many episodes are per set.

19:28If they redid this knowing how many episodes there are, they'd probably have like several less

19:38sets.

19:47And finally, set 18 with Farewell. Fitting.

20:01480 minutes. Here we go.

20:17Oh, maybe it's just a perspective trick. I thought maybe that you need to put it sideways to properly

20:28see, but maybe not. Okay, so yeah, so that's it for all the sets of the first Boruto series.

20:38So yeah, pretty cool, pretty cool stuff. But yeah, so really not much else to say,
