Dismissed Bamban Mayor Alice Guo has been granted permission by the Pasig Regional Trial Court to undergo a medical checkup, according to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.

00:06Court to undergo a medical checkup, according to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.
00:12In a press briefing on Wednesday, October 2, BJMP spokesperson J-Rex Joseph Bustinera
00:18says Goh's medical checkup was an initiative from the BJMP, following the suggestions from
00:24senators during Goh's last hearing.
00:26According to Bustinera, they are still coordinating with the hospital regarding the checkup schedule.
00:31He adds that it will depend on whether Goh still wants to proceed with the medical checkup
00:35or not.
00:36Bustinera further says that Goh is currently healthy and no other concerns have been noted
00:41so far.
00:43On September 23, the Philippine National Police said a suspected infection was detected in
00:47the left lung of Goh.
00:49The infection was detected after the BJMP required Goh to undergo a medical checkup
00:54before being transferred to the custody of the BJMP.
00:58Goh is currently in the custody of the BJMP at the Pasig City Jail Female Dormitory.
