00:08the third installment of the Deadpool franchise, Deadpool and Wolverine.

00:17animal rights, privacy rights, vaccines, free market capitalism, global climate change.
00:23Number 10, Calling Out Fox
00:25Wade Wilson is brought to the TVA by Mr. Paradox
00:28under the premise that he's been chosen for a higher purpose that may or may not
00:32involve saving the Sacred Timeline.
00:47Mr. Paradox tells Wilson that he'll be leaving his own timeline and entering a new one.
00:52Of course Wilson is excited to join the MCU, but then, hilariously, he takes it too far
00:57and declares himself Marvel Jesus.
01:14This moment is capped off by Wilson running up,
01:16grabbing the camera and mic to boldly tell Fox to suck it and that he's going to Disneyland.
01:21Suck it, Fox. I'm going to Disneyland.
01:24It's an excellent parting gift to the former studio.
01:28Number 9, Kevin Feige's One Rule
01:31It's Wade Wilson's birthday,
01:32and he comes home to find his friends have organized a surprise party for the occasion.
01:41There's a brief montage of him engaging with various people,
01:44one of whom is his roommate, Blind Al.
01:47They have a bit of a contentious relationship,
01:49so it's always a pleasure to see their interactions.
01:52She just straight up asks Wade if he wants to do some coke.
02:02He quickly mentions that that is the one thing that Kevin Feige,
02:06head of Marvel Studios, said is off-limits.
02:09They go on to riff several euphemisms for the powdered substance, but it's no use.
02:13They know all the slang terms.
02:17I can't.
02:19Number 8, Johnny Storm Reveal
02:21Both Wolverine and Deadpool get sent to the void.
02:24They have a brief fight, but are soon joined by a mysterious figure that looks to be Cap.
02:40Could it be that we're going to get a Captain America cameo?
02:42Deadpool seems to think so.
02:44Obviously, it would be a variant, but we'll take what we can get.
02:47The trio are approached by an antagonistic group of mutants.
03:04Our presumed Cap is going to take them on,
03:07but just when we think he's going to say,
03:09Assemble, we get Flame On.
03:19Wait, what?
03:19That's right.
03:20Chris Evans also played Johnny Storm, and that's who we get here.
03:24It is an excellent subversion, and it's made funnier that he is instantly defeated by Pyro.
03:31Number 7, Nicepool's fourth wall break
03:34Imagine a version of Deadpool that's sweet and kind.
03:37That would be Nicepool.
03:38Deadpool and Wolverine first encounter him in the void
03:41when they come across his dog, Mary Puppins.
03:47He's got the dashing good looks of a Ryan Reynolds type,
03:50and is chipper beyond belief.
03:52When Deadpool and Wolverine return to Deadpool's universe,
03:55they're eventually joined by Mary Puppins,
03:57only to find Nicepool not far behind.
03:59It's clear Deadpool wants to keep the dog,
04:02and refers to Nicepool as Van Milder.
04:05A funny insult, to be sure,
04:06but Nicepool is quick to indicate that he too can tap the fourth wall.
04:10He turns directly to the camera and simply utters,
04:18It is a brilliant, unexpected non-sequitur.
04:22Number 6, Deadpool's fourth wall break
04:25It is a brilliant, unexpected non-sequitur.
04:28Number 6, Gambit
04:30Deadpool and Wolverine find themselves in the hideout of resistance fighters.
04:39We're quickly introduced to forgotten Marvel heroes from yesteryear,
04:43such as Elektra, Blade, and X-23.
04:46Perhaps the most surprising character reveal is that of Gambit.
04:50If you're trying to remember which X-Men movie this specific version appeared in,
04:54we'll save you the trouble, he doesn't.
05:08A Gambit film starring Channing Tatum was in the works, but was cancelled.
05:12Tatum really shines here with his indecipherable Cajun accent.
05:16Adding to the hilarity are Deadpool's reactions because, like us,
05:20he also has no idea what the raging Cajun is saying.
05:24Number 5, Educated Wish
05:34To get Logan to go along with his plan,
05:36Deadpool promises him that he can undo whatever bad thing Logan did in his universe
05:40once they're able to return to the TVA.
05:54While on their way to the Borderlands of the Void to find a group of resistance fighters,
06:02Deadpool tries to bond with his co-star,
06:04but accidentally lets it slip that he doesn't actually know if Wolverine's world can be fixed.
06:09Wolverine is furious, as one can imagine, at being lied to,
06:25but Deadpool goes for the Hail Mary of justifications by saying that he made an educated wish.
06:30Wolverine's reaction is just priceless,
06:33and the two go on to have an over-the-top fight in their Honda Odyssey.
06:38Number 4, Applying to the Avengers
06:42Wade Wilson is searching for purpose to his life,
06:44and his search for that brought him to the Avengers.
07:00Hoping to speak with Tony Stark, he's instead speaking to Happy Hogan,
07:13Mr. Stark's former chauffeur, as Wilson points out several times throughout their conversation.
07:31Ultimately, it doesn't lead to Deadpool joining Earth's Mightiest Heroes,
07:35but it is filled with many jokes.
07:37Even when he's trying to be thoughtful and sincere,
07:40he can't help but say something out of pocket,
07:42like mention how he likes to use those toy Hulk hands.
07:45It's an image we could have done without,
07:47and probably didn't help his pitch to join the Avengers.
08:00Number 3, Deadpool's New Suit
08:03Before Deadpool can go off and save the MCU,
08:06he's gonna need to be dressed for the occasion.
08:10Luckily, the TVA has the resources to adorn him with all the things he'll need,
08:14including weapons and a new suit.
08:17We're treated to a montage of Deadpool being fitted with his new threads
08:20by a bearded tailor where said tailor cups and slaps certain areas of our hero.
08:25It happens so much,
08:26there's a bit of a percussive beat formed from the sound effects of the various shots.
08:31Returning to Mr. Paradox after receiving his costume,
08:34he super casually mentions that the tailor is a predator.
08:39The way he delivers the line just has us cracking up.
08:44Number 2, Post Credit Scene
08:46Once Deadpool, Wolverine and Johnny Storm are captured,
08:49they're taken to Cassandra Nova, a twisted ruler in the void.
08:57She's a tremendously powerful figure that you definitely do not want to cross.
09:08Of course, Deadpool takes the opportunity during this initial meeting to repeat,
09:12word for word, Storm's description of her during their ride to the compound.
09:16And it's not nice to say the least.
09:27Storm denies he would say such vile things,
09:29and it definitely sounds like something Deadpool would make up on the spot as a bit.
09:33Cut to the post credits where yes, he did say those things, and more.
09:43We gotta say, Johnny sold his bemusement well.

10:02Number 1, Nicepool's Regeneration
10:05We had heard about the Deadpool core from Nicepool and now we get the payoff.
10:19There are an assortment of variants and cameos that are all very interesting,
10:23but they're only interested in one thing, which is to kill our heroes.
10:28Ladypool kicks things off with her Uzis,
10:30and Deadpool quickly uses Nicepool as a shield as they head for cover.
10:34Having been hit with a bunch of bullets,
10:36Deadpool inquires how long it takes him to regenerate.
10:43With the sweetest, most sincere look on his face,
10:46Nicepool is bewildered by the concept.
10:49Ryan Reynolds nails the tone of this moment perfectly.
10:52We never would have guessed there would be a version of Deadpool without that power,
10:56but here we are.
