00:00Lennon Miller is adding goals to his game which is great for his price tag for when
00:05somebody eventually comes in for him but there's not a lot that the guy, or child if you want
00:12to still call him that, can't do in a Mullum shuttle. If he starts adding goals to his
00:17game then he's going to go to a totally different stratosphere from what he's already in.
00:21Definitely. I think there was no doubt that everybody already knew he was that good and
00:26I feel like this just takes him that wee level above that, that perhaps people even thought
00:33he would go to and he really is that good.
00:36Aye, I mean you could tell he was dropped a wee bit deeper with Moses starting and two
00:40up front. It'd be interesting to see if that comes back again and we're also going to speak
00:44about the Hibs game but it seemed to match St Mirren up really 3-5-2 for 3-5-2 and it
00:49dropped me, dropped him into what I think is his better position playing a wee bit deeper
00:53but you still seen as well, he's still got that wee bit of muscle memory for playing
00:58more as a 10 this season where he is just popping up about the box and even in the second
01:02half he could have had a hat-trick if maybe, you know, was able to get a shot, if he gets
01:06a shot on target and either they two, you and Wilson cross he's in there.
01:10Yeah, I cut a good opportunities to get his third and maybe even a fourth. Obviously it
01:16just wasn't to come for him on that occasion but I do like, he gets himself forward, he
01:25gets himself into good positions and he's not afraid to hit a shot and that's exactly
01:30what you want from him.
01:31Aye, because that, I mean obviously the handball is dominating a lot of the talking points
01:36with a bit of a decent finish as well. He's sort of, it's in a ruck of bodies and he manages
01:40to just get it through the one wee channel that's kind of open and I mean, what it was
01:46bizarre to me is that's his first league goals, all his goals outside of that have come in
01:50the league cup.
01:51All came in the cups, haven't they?
01:52Aye, all came in the cups even going back to last season. Obviously there's a few penalties
01:56in there, Sturney scored them but I just, it's the norm for him. Saturday he was really
02:03good despite it not being, I'm not, he was really good in the game but like it wasn't
02:08his show stop as he was against Dundee United. He doesn't need to play at that level every
02:12time he can. He can play in second and third gear and still be comfortably better than
02:18everybody else.
02:19He never really looks like he's putting in a proper shift I don't think. He just seems
02:25to stroll it all the time. He just sits back, picks passes, the ball comes to him, he's
02:34looks to see if he can get a shot away, looks to see if he can play a ball through and he
02:38just absolutely strolls it.
02:39Another player who got a lot of applause after Saturday was Aston Oxbrough. For me this was
02:46his sort of coming out game if you want to call it that. He's sort of been a master in
02:51the basics up until this point which isn't a criticism. He's been very handy in coming
02:56for the ball in the air, distribution's been good, no real errors of any note, any that
03:02made any significant difference in the game anyway. But I think the one thing he kind
03:06of missed to tick all the boxes, even though he's been really good, is those sort of stand
03:10out saves, the one that really get fans on their feet and the one thing Hoggitch at the
03:15end of the first half said to me, I don't know how he gets to it, that should have been
03:19a goal, an amazing save and then the penalty save isn't bad either. Mark Ihara looked like
03:25he's drifting into the left-hand post and he just does enough to get it onto said post.
