00:57that will supply the ACM that will be used in the election of 2025.

01:07actually what they're saying is that there's an owner connected to St. Timothy

01:12that can run in the local and national position.

01:17Comelec immediately told St. Timothy

01:20that they will not allow the integrity of the election to be questioned.

01:25And as a reaction to this,

01:27today, St. Timothy withdrew from its joint partnership with Miru Systems.

01:35Comelec said that there is no effect on the integrity of these machines,

01:41because the company's role in the joint venture is as an NFCC,

01:47or Net Financial Contracting Capacity,

01:50or the so-called credit line for the funds that will be needed.

01:55Here is the statement of Comelec Chairman George Erwin Garcia.

02:00St. Timothy officially withdrew from the partnership, from the joint venture.

02:08We are informed that it was accepted by our two remaining partners in the joint venture.

02:14If that's the case, we immediately took action and referred it to the law department

02:19so that the law department of Comelec will immediately have a study.

06:56Miru said that although the STCC has a paper to comply with the regulatory compliance requirements,

07:03the company has no contribution in the production of their voting machines or services to be used in the 2025 national and local elections.

07:13In their ongoing preparation, they already have 50,000 automated counting machines

07:19and it is under the acceptance tests and 100% of other election peripherals and printing machines.

07:27Miru said that the withdrawal of the STCC will not have any effect on their promise to provide a better automated election system for the Filipinos.
