00:00I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan
00:06In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
00:13Hamid
00:18By the clear Book
00:22Indeed, We have made it an Arabic Qur'an that you may understand.
00:30And indeed it is in the Mother of the Book with Us, Exalted and Wise.
00:40Shall We then turn away from you the remembrance openly, because you are a transgressing people?
00:52And how many a prophet have We sent among the former peoples,
01:00and no prophet came to them except that they used to mock at him?
01:10So We destroyed more severely than they, in oppression, and how terrible is the example of the former peoples!
01:21And if you ask them, Who created the heavens and the earth? They will say, He who created them is the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.
01:35Who made for you the earth a cradle, and made for you therein ways that you may be guided.
01:46And He who sent down rain from the sky in measure, and We spread thereby a dead land. Thus will you be brought forth.
02:06And He who created all kinds, and made for you of ships and cattle that you may ride,
02:18That you may stand on their backs, and then remember the favor of your Lord when you stand on it, and say, Exalted is He who subjected this to us, and we were not related to Him.
02:44And indeed, to our Lord we will return.
02:53And make for Him of His servants a share. Indeed, man is clearly ungrateful.
03:06Or has He taken from that which He creates daughters, and has chosen you as sons?
03:16And when one of them is given good tidings of what has been set forth for the Most Merciful as an example, his face turns black, and he is like light.
03:29And those who are raised in chastity while they are in dispute are not clear.
03:37And they made the angels, who are the servants of the Most Merciful, females. Did they witness their creation? Their testimony will be recorded, and they will be questioned.
03:56And they will say, If the Most Merciful had willed, we would not have worshipped them. They have no knowledge of that. They are only guessing.
04:15Or have We given them a Book before it, and they are holding fast to it?
04:26Nay, but they say, Indeed, we found our fathers upon a nation, and indeed, we are guided by their footsteps.
04:47And thus did We not send before you in a city a warner, except that he said,
05:01Except that he said, They have no knowledge of that. Indeed, we found our fathers upon a nation, and indeed, we are guided by their footsteps.
05:29He said, What if I had come to you with better guidance than that which you found your fathers upon? They said, Indeed, we are disbelievers in that which you have been sent with.
05:53So We took retribution from them, so see how was the end of the deniers.
06:02And when Abraham said to his father and his people, Indeed, I am free from that which you worship,
06:16Except for He who created me, and indeed, He will guide me.
06:23And he made it a lasting word in his end, that they might return.
06:33Nay, but I gave enjoyment to those and their fathers until the truth came to them and a clear messenger.
06:51And when the truth came to them, they said, This is magic, and indeed, we disbelieve in it.
07:04And they said, Why has this Qur'an not been sent down to a man from the two great cities?
07:13Do they swear by the mercy of your Lord?
07:17We swore between them their life in the life of this world, and We raised some of them above others in degrees, that they might take others as mockers.
07:41And the mercy of your Lord is better than that which they collect.
07:50And if not that the people were one community, We would have made for those who disbelieve in the Most Merciful,
08:10And for their houses there would be roofs of silver, and on which towers they would ascend.
08:21And for their houses there would be gates, and on which couches they would recline.
08:30And for their houses there would be gates, and on which couches they would recline.
08:49And whosoever abstains from the remembrance of the Most Merciful, We assign to him a devil, and he is near to him.
09:02And indeed, they turn them away from the way, and they think that they are guided.
09:14Until, when he comes to Us, he says,
09:21O, I wish that between me and you was the distance of the two easts, but evil is that near.
09:29And it will not benefit you this Day, when you have wronged, that you will be in the punishment, sharing.
09:41Then will you make the deaf hear or guide the blind? And there will not be in me a clear error.
09:52Then indeed, We will take you away, and indeed, We will take revenge on them.
10:04Or We will show you that which We have promised them, and indeed, We are over them competent.
10:15So hold fast to that which has been revealed to you. Indeed, you are on a straight path.
10:29And indeed, it is a reminder for you and for your people, and you will be asked,
10:39And ask those whom We sent before you from among Our messengers,
10:47Did We make besides the Most Merciful gods to be worshipped?
10:56And indeed, We sent Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his leaders, and he said,
11:06Indeed, I am the Messenger of the Lord of the worlds.
11:12But when he brought them Our signs, behold, they laughed at them.
11:26And We did not show them any sign except that it was greater than their sister.
11:35And We seized them with punishment that they might return.
11:42And they said, O magician, invoke for us your Lord because of what He has promised you.
11:53Indeed, we are guided.
11:58So when We removed from them the punishment, behold, they were in disbelief.
12:06And Pharaoh called out among his people. He said, O my people, is not for me the kingdom of Egypt?
12:14And these rivers flow beneath me. Will you not then see?
12:23Or am I better than this one who is humble and does not even try to explain?
12:33So why have I not cast upon him a silver chain of gold, or have the angels come with him in pairs?
12:49So he led his people astray and they obeyed him. Indeed, they were a rebellious people.
13:00So when they regretted, We took revenge on them and drowned them all.
13:12So We made them a precedent and an example for the later generations.
13:19And when the son of Mary was set forth as an example, behold, your people were angry with him.
13:29And they said, Are our gods better or him?
13:36They only hit him on the forehead. Indeed, they are a rebellious people.
13:45He is but a servant whom We have favored, and We have made him an example for the Children of Israel.
13:58And if We willed, We could have made of you angels in the land, succeeding one another.
14:13And indeed, it is a knowledge for the Hour, so do not doubt it, but follow it.
14:22This is a straight path.
14:27And let not Satan hinder you. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.
14:38And when Aisha came with the clear proofs, he said, I have come to you with wisdom, and to make clear to you some of that in which you differ.
14:56So fear Allah and obey me.
15:02Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him.
15:09This is a straight path.
15:14But the parties differed among themselves.
15:19So woe to those who are unjust from the punishment of a painful Day.
15:26Do they wait except for the Hour to come upon them suddenly while they perceive not?
15:38On that Day, some of them will be enemies to others except the righteous.
15:51O My servants, there is no fear for you this Day, nor will you grieve.
16:01Those who believed in Our signs and were Muslims.
16:08Enter Paradise, you and your wives, to be brought near.
16:16They will be surrounded by crates of gold and goblets.
16:25And therein is what the souls desire, and the eyes delight, and you will abide therein eternally.
16:38And that is Paradise, which you have been made to inherit for what you used to do.
16:49Therein is fruit for you, much of it you will eat.
16:58Indeed, the criminals will abide eternally in the punishment of Hell.
17:07It will not be scattered from them, and they will be in it, distressed.
17:14And We did not wrong them, but they were the wrongdoers.
17:22And they called out, O Malik, that your Lord should decide for us.
17:28He said, Indeed, you are stagnant.
17:35We have certainly brought you the truth, but most of you hate the truth.
17:46Or have they devised a plan? Indeed, We are planning.
17:54Or do they think that We do not hear their secret and their conversation?
18:02Yes, and Our messengers are with them, writing.
18:08Say, If there is for the Most Merciful a son, then I am the first of the worshippers.
18:18Exalted is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Lord of the Throne, above what they describe.
18:28So leave them to talk and play until they meet their Day which they are promised.
18:37And it is He who is in the heaven a god, and in the earth a god.
18:46And He is the Wise, the Knowing.
18:51And blessed is He to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them.
18:59And with Him is the knowledge of the Hour, and to Him you will be returned.
19:08And those who invoke other than Him have no power of intercession except those who bear witness to the truth and they know.
19:20And if you ask them who created them, they will say, Allah. Then how are they deluded?
19:34And say, O my Lord, indeed these are a people who do not believe.
19:47So turn away from them and say, Peace. Then they will know.
19:58Allah Almighty has spoken the truth
