00:05to the actor's fatal overdose.

00:07Dr. Mark Chavez of San Diego enters the plea before the U.S. District Court in Los Angeles.

00:12He could face up to 10 years in prison at his sentencing, scheduled for April.

00:16Another of Perry's doctors, Salvador Placencia and co-defendant Jesvin Sangha, have pleaded

00:21not guilty.

00:22Authorities say Sangha was an illicit supplier of the drug and was known as the Ketamine

00:26Queen.

00:27Perry said Placencia purchased ketamine from Chavez.

00:30In text messages to Chavez discussing the amount they would charge Perry, Placencia

00:34allegedly wrote, quote, I wonder how much this moron would pay.

00:38The pair are scheduled to go on trial in March.

00:41Perry died at the age of 54 in October 2023 from the acute effects of ketamine and other

00:46factors that caused him to lose consciousness and brown in his hot tub.
