00:13This lake is an example of its beauty.
00:16It is a clear proof of the beauty of the landscapes surrounded by mountains and snow.
00:20Viewers, one of the advantages of this lake is that the stories of different fairies associated with this lake,
00:26which are narrated by the locals themselves.
00:29Today, we will give you complete information about the complete story of this lake, its history and the story of Prince Saif-ul-Muluk and the fairy Badi-ul-Jamal.
00:39Friends, to add to your knowledge, let me tell you that some people say that this story is completely based on the truth,
00:45but for some people, this is a completely fabricated story.
00:49Now, whether it is a true story or a fairy tale, no definitive opinion can be formed about it.
00:54But everyone living in Naraan knows about this story completely.
00:59They mention this story in their books as well.
01:02According to the locals, the water of this lake comes not from the mountains, but from the bottom of Saif-ul-Muluk.
01:08Its amount of water is seen on a very low level.
01:12Friends, many researchers tried to measure the depth of the water of this lake, but the depth of the water of this lake could not be measured.
01:19Unfortunately, if anyone tried to find out its depth, he could never come back.
01:25It is said that 300,000 years ago, when the entire area of the Kagan Valley was covered with snow, this lake came into existence.
01:32When the snow of the Kagan Valley fell into the water from the Posh area, the water of the river stopped.
01:39In the middle of the lake, a mountain queen is wearing a beautiful snow-covered dress,
01:44adorning her beauty with four moons, and making her beauty a spectacle.
01:49No one has ever been able to cross the 70,390-foot-tall mountain.
01:54According to the locals, no human being can cross this mountain because the curse of Prince Saif-ul-Muluk is included here.
02:02Prince Saif-ul-Muluk is said to have been the son of a king of Egypt about 860 years before the birth of Jesus.
02:10But in some traditions, he is said to be the prince of Delhi, India.
02:14Friends, for seven consecutive nights, a fairy appeared in Prince Saif-ul-Muluk's dream,
02:20and Prince Saif-ul-Muluk fell in love with this fairy.
02:25To get the meaning of his dream, the prince contacted various astrologers and dream interpreters,
02:31but these people failed to explain it.
02:34Finally, a scholar who was an expert in astrology, calculated and told the prince that the fairy
02:40that comes in your dream is actually a fairy of Koh Kaaf,
02:44and this fairy is not from now, but has been in love with you since you were born,
02:49and this fairy is in the mountain of Kaaf.
02:51Koh Kaaf is the area of fairies and jinn.
02:54Koh Kaaf is a beautiful mountain range in Armenia.
02:58It is said to be the area of fairies and jinn where Adam can never go.
03:03This area is invisible to humans.
03:06The scholar further told the prince that the name of this fairy is Badi-ul-Jamal,
03:11and it comes to the settlement of humans every 12 years and goes to the lake of Saif-ul-Muluk to bathe.
03:17If you want to find this fairy, you will have to go to the Naran Valley,
03:21and you will have to cut a special log by the lake for 12 years,
03:26and after cutting this special log, you can see the fairy.
03:30The scholar gave the prince a Sulemani cap and said that when you cut the 12-year log,
03:35then wear this cap.
03:37After cutting the log and wearing this cap, you will be able to see the fairies and jinn easily.
03:42The prince packed his necessary things,
03:44tied the Naran,
03:46and set out for his destination.
03:48He traveled for many months,
03:50and after a distance of many months,
03:52he reached the Naran Valley,
03:54and started cutting the log in a cave near the lake.
03:58After 12 years of cutting the log,
04:00one night he heard the sound of the wings fluttering.
04:03He saw that a large number of fairies were descending into the lake.
04:06The fairies took off their clothes and began to bathe in the lake.
04:10The prince had been waiting for this for 12 years.
04:13As soon as the prince saw the dress of the fairy Badi-ul-Jamal,
04:16he immediately picked up the dress and kept it with him.
04:19When the fairies saw this action,
04:21they got scared and immediately ran away from there,
04:24but the fairy Badi-ul-Jamal remained there.
04:26The fairy began to ask the prince to return her dress to her,
04:30but the prince kept the condition that
04:32first you must admit that you will marry me,
04:35then I will return your dress to you.
04:37But the fairy did not listen to him and kept refusing.
04:41Then the prince introduced her to him,
04:44and also said that I have been waiting for you for 12 years.
04:48When the fairy heard the story of the prince,
04:51she also fell in love with him.
04:54Friends, now the second and important part of the story begins from here.
04:57There is a very high mountain with the lake of Saif-ul-Muluk,
05:00which is called Malika-e-Parbat.
05:02It is said that no one has ever reached the top of this mountain,
05:06and it is well known that there are Jinns living on the top of this mountain.
05:10In those days, there used to be a god on the top of this mountain,
05:13whose name was Sufait-Dev.
05:15Friends, unfortunately, that god also fell in love with Badi-ul-Jamal fairy.
05:19When that god came to know that a prince has come from somewhere
05:23and he has spent 12 years to get the fairy,
05:26and now he is taking the fairy with him,
05:28then in the most severe anger,
05:30he got down from the top of this mountain to kill both of them
05:33and entered the lake of Saif-ul-Muluk.
05:35When the fairy felt the danger,
05:37she immediately revealed the whole truth to the first prince.
05:40They both ran towards Naran city to save their lives.
05:44When Dev got down from the mountain,
05:46he came to know that both of them have run towards the city,
05:49so Dev got angry and broke the bond of the lake of Saif-ul-Muluk,
05:53from which all the water came towards Naran city.
05:56The purpose of breaking the bond of Dev was that
05:58both the fairy and the prince would perish in this water of the lake.
06:02When the fairy and the prince saw the water coming towards them,
06:06they took refuge in the nearby cave.
06:08That cave is still present near the market of Naran.
06:11People still come from far to see this cave.
06:15In some traditions, it is said that the fairy and the prince
06:18both drowned in the water of this lake and died,
06:21but according to some people,
06:23they took refuge in this cave and they were saved from the water of the lake
06:27and they are still alive in this cave.
06:29And some people present this theory that
06:31they sat in the cave and waited for the water to end,
06:34when the water was over,
06:36they came out of the cave and went towards their area of Egypt.
06:39Now, no one knows how many stories and how many realities
06:43are there after so many contradictions in this story.
06:47But this story is on the tongue of every child and old man in Naran
06:51that the locals tell this story to every tourist with great interest.

07:22This lake is the present-day Kanhar Lake,
07:24which still obtains a large part of its water from this lake.
