00:04Because in the Quran, Muhammad consistently says,
00:06Jesus is not God.
00:07I, as a follower of Christ, worship Jesus as God.
00:10But in the Bible, nowhere does it say that Jesus is God,
00:12unless you interpret John 1 and John 1.14,
00:15where it says the Word became flesh,
00:16beginning with the Word, the Word was God, and the Word was with God.
00:18But Jesus never said, plainly, I am God.
00:21That's why it's like the Messianic secret, right?
00:23And when God, like, talks to Jesus, He said, like,
00:25this is my Son, who I am with, well pleased.
00:27So He's the Son of God in the Bible,
00:29although He's over-portrayed us, even in His death in Satorian,
00:32when He said, this man was truly the Son of God.
00:34Where in the Bible does it say Jesus is God?

00:38In John 8.58, Jesus says,
00:40Before Abraham was born, I am.
00:42Jews did not call God G-O-D.
00:43They called Him Yahweh, Jehovah.
00:45It's the Hebrew verb, to be.
00:46I am who I am.
00:47Very deliberately, in John 8.58,
00:49Jesus says, Before Abraham was born, I am.
00:51No misunderstanding among the Jews.
00:53They understand it as the sin of blasphemy.
00:55That He, a mere man, to have the audacity
00:57to claim to be God in human form is unacceptable.
