00:03:07Dynamite, but we are kicking things off here hot tonight with one of the most highly anticipated
00:03:12matches.
00:03:21Your opening contest, everyone follow me, 16 minute time limit is for the A.E.W.
00:03:26International Championship.
00:03:31Introducing the challenger from Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing 208 pounds, Ricochet.
00:03:43Nigel McGuinness, you were in the ring in London, England when this man, Ricochet, made
00:03:49his A.E.W. debut.
00:03:51He is an athlete quite like any other.
00:03:54Indeed, certainly bursting onto the stage in Wembley Stadium, immediately causing fans
00:04:01to salivate about the prospect of this match tonight.
00:04:06But Tony, Ricochet, he called out Will Ospreay, but Will Ospreay said, you got to get in line,
00:04:11you have to rack up some wins, you have to go about things the right way, and Ricochet
00:04:15did exactly that.
00:04:16It didn't take him long, did it Excalibur, to rack up those wins.
00:04:24We see Will Ospreay, Kyle Fletcher, some pre-match preparations for the international

00:05:13international champion, the aerial-ess-tastic, Will Ospreay!
00:05:26Well, Tony, speaking of last week, let's take a look at when Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher
00:05:30challenged Matthew and Nicholas Jackson for the A.E.W.
00:05:33World Tag Team Championship at Dynamite Grand Slam.
00:05:36Ospreay and Fletcher, they were within a hair's breadth of becoming new champions, but it
00:05:42was actually Don Callis, Tony.
00:05:44It was Callis that may have cost Ospreay and Fletcher the titles.
00:05:48He wanted to use the screwdriver, and then, as you see, Will Ospreay said no, the belt,
00:05:55and it was all over.
00:05:59It was the EVP trigger that retained the titles for Matthew and Nicholas Jackson that ended
00:06:06the Tag Team Championship hopes of Ospreay and Fletcher.
00:06:09Well, that was certainly the final nail in the coffin, but you could certainly make an
00:06:13argument if Ospreay hadn't stopped Kyle Fletcher from using the screwdriver, he might have
00:06:19another title belt around his waist or over his shoulder right now.
00:06:24I think Ospreay's going to take some of the blame.
00:06:28Well, if they do it the Don Callis way, you may be right, but I don't think many of us
00:06:33here at this table, with the exception of one of us, agrees with the Don Callis way.
00:06:37That's 33%, that's a big percentage in my book.
00:06:42You could make an argument that it's the allegiance with Don Callis that has taken Will Ospreay
00:06:47to the heights that he has achieved, but it be that as it may, no Don Callis, listen to this.
00:06:57This is not the first time that Will Ospreay and Ricochet have shared a ring, nearly two
00:07:03dozen times in various matches, but nine times in singles matches.
00:07:07Will Ospreay holds a 5-4 lead over Ricochet, but this is the first time they've met in
00:07:13AEW, what a way to kick off five years of dynamite, live here tonight on TBS.
00:07:19And what a day it has been for us here in All Elite Wrestling, the announcement of course
00:07:23that we are going to be on TBS and D&T for many, many years, and not only that, be streaming
00:07:30on Max as well, that was announced today.
00:07:32Yes, starting next year Tony, very exciting times here in AEW, Ospreay swinging a miss,
00:07:37Ricochet, side headlock, Ospreay scissors that head, and that side headlock takeover
00:07:42from Will Ospreay, the champion, and Ospreay double leg trip, goes for the jackknife pin,
00:07:49bridge up, these two men so evenly matched, and the kick out, and Nigel I may have
00:07:54misspoken, I said Ricochet an athlete quite like any other, but Will Ospreay,
00:07:59maybe the athlete most closely resembling Ricochet.
00:08:03Certainly in the conversation, arguably the most exciting professional wrestler
00:08:09in the world today.
00:08:13Of course Ricochet with the experience advantage over Will Ospreay, but Ospreay,
00:08:18Ospreay, look at that, catches his footing, step up, work on Rana, Ricochet vaults out,
00:08:23finds his footing, goes back to Harris, and now Ospreay on his feet, these two men
00:08:29so evenly matched, and so evenly matched physically.
00:08:37And as you mentioned, know each other quite well, first time they met was 2013
00:08:42back in Red Crow in Great Britain, take a look at the intensity of both men.
00:08:47Evenly matched physically, evenly matched mentally, Nigel.
00:08:57They are on their feet, for an absolute dream rematch, the aerial assassin,
00:09:04as the man who is the epitome of a new generation of high flyers, fellas strap in
00:09:10with a thrill ride of a lifetime.
00:09:14We talked about how Ricochet had to climb through the ranks here in AEW, he did so
00:09:19Tony, with victories over Kyle Fletcher, Sammy Guevara, The Beast Mortos,
00:09:23three straight victories to earn this shot at Will Ospreay in the
00:09:27AEW International Championship.
00:09:28Absolutely, he's a 20 year veteran, 20 different championships under his belt,
00:09:33first time in AEW and look at what he's doing already.
00:09:36Tremendous counter wrestling there by Ricochet, who knows the offense,
00:09:40who knows the instincts of a high flyer better than someone like Ricochet.
00:09:44Indeed, certainly he's got the same playbook.

00:09:53I'm not sure if we'll get a chance to see that again, but yeah,
00:09:56all the power of Ricochet driving the aerial assassin,

00:10:05And remember, we are just one week removed from Dynamite Grand Slam,
00:10:09that very physical match with Matthew and Nicholas Jackson
00:10:12for the AEW World Tag Team Championship that Ospreay,
00:10:14oh look at Ospreay, finds his footing on the top of the barricade
00:10:17and now the elbow strike stops Ricochet and it's, oh wait,

00:48:16Jeff Jarrett in a lumberjack strap match
00:48:19it was brutal but it was Juice Robinson that appeared to take an outsized interest in
00:48:25Hangman Adam Page. Juice claims he was just doing his job as a lumberjack
00:48:29Hangman Adam Page obviously did not see it that way
00:48:32felt very differently taking exception to Juice Robinson and hanging him out to dry
00:48:37but were it not for the guns I'm not sure what would have happened to Juice be that as it may
00:48:42Juice Robinson returns here tonight for a pound of flesh
00:48:48Hangman wants his own and as we saw earlier Hangman attempting to even the odds before
00:48:52the match begins taking out Colton and Austin Gunn he wants his pound of flesh
00:48:59he wants no one to get in the way was he trying to even the odds or he's just out of control
00:49:04I mean he's just a maniac and his opponent from Joliet Illinois weighing 218 pounds
00:49:13getting on to the races right now Hangman and Juice coming up the ramp Juice
00:49:18throwing off the shades meeting Hangman and now Hangman look at this getting a better at
00:49:21Juice Robinson. No way Adam Page was letting Juice Robinson get into the ring
00:49:26we knew this was going to start fast and quick
00:49:31I think the eyes say it all with Hangman Adam Page you can look at him and I was looking at
00:49:35him in the ring not that long ago he is at a different place and it's a very dangerous
00:49:40play for anybody. Juice with that leather strap from this past Saturday in New York
00:49:47and the match hasn't begun yet. We know what happened the last time he did that to Adam Page
00:49:53if I was Juice Robinson I wouldn't have done it again. Now Juice that strap wrapped around the
00:50:00left oh Hangman no shot to the midsection and oh my god he's threatening the referee
00:50:07Aubrey Everett. You see Hangman still bearing the marks from those straps in that lumberjack
00:50:13strap match Nigel I mean that that shot that Sutton Singh landed on Hangman Adam Page is
00:50:19unforgettable. Yeah and the fact that Adam Page still standing and still fighting today
00:50:25tells you how tough this man is he is an absolute stud. Certainly no Hangman
00:50:34this is some of the the railing here at ringside and again this match has not
00:50:38officially began it won't begin until both men able to enter the ring but
00:50:44Hangman does not care obviously about a sanctioned win or loss against Juice Robinson he wants
00:50:50he wants revenge he wants punishment here. Adam Page has had a chip on his shoulder for a long time
00:50:57we will not easily forget his brutal bloody rivalry with Swerve Strickland
00:51:05that arguably Hangman Adam Page came out on top of and I mean that's where this all stems from
00:51:12because Hangman Adam Page was bloody he was battered by by Swerve and now Hangman looking
00:51:18for a piledriver but Juice Robinson countered onto the cement here in Pittsburgh. Yeah good thing
00:51:25Juice did that I'm not so sure if Juice hit that table with a piledriver he could have even made
00:51:30it back to the ring or to the ring first time and here we go up to the stands. That's Hangman Adam
