Senior Analysts' reacts to PTI protest in Islamabad

00:00On one hand, Mohsin Aqvi says that we have failed the PTI strategy.
00:04PTI says that we have failed the government strategy.
00:07Who has failed?
00:09Pakistan.
00:11No one has succeeded. Pakistan is failing.
00:14Pakistan is being ruined as a state.
00:18Neither the government nor PTI has done a good job.
00:22Now if you want to explain this,
00:24you see, if there is no unity in the policy,
00:27and if the decisions are not being taken together,
00:29then this is what happens.
00:31A while ago, the Minister of Internal Affairs said that
00:34he is very ashamed of the citizens of Islamabad.
00:36You should have talked to PTI instead of being ashamed.
00:39If this was the case, then you should have got a place fixed.
00:42If this is their stubbornness, then some stubbornness should have ended.
00:46Or you should have been so strict that you would have let them not come
00:50according to your claim.
00:52The reality is that the PTI protest has ended without the announcement of leadership.
00:57Of course, they will wait for their leader's new decision.
01:00And will you hand over the citizens of Islamabad to the containers again?
01:04Will you close the roads?
01:06The Minister of Internal Affairs has no experience.
01:08Politically, whatever you say, he is far behind him.
01:11In administrative matters, talking to the army,
01:14being a representative of the establishment,
01:16and talking to politicians, there is a big difference.
01:20And this becomes a question mark for the entire government.
01:23If he was the commander of all these operations,
01:26then why wasn't he seen?
01:28My question is, was Mohsin Naqvi doing everything on his own accord?
01:35He must be doing it with the blessings of the Prime Minister.
01:38I have said that this is the failure of Pakistan.
01:41I have gathered everyone in it.
01:43First of all, in the government.
01:45I am saying that how many political consultations have taken place,
01:49how many times have you and I seen them,
01:51or a meeting has come in which the political leadership,
01:54which is of their unity, in which there is the People's Party,
01:57in which there is Muslim League Noon,
01:59how many meetings have they had?
02:01How many experiences does the Minister of Internal Affairs have?
02:03Don't you and we know that in 2016, Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan,
02:05keeping in mind the experience of 2014,
02:07did not let Imran Khan come out of Bannikala.
02:09And Gandapur Sahib was seen running on the streets.
02:11And Parvez Khattak was not allowed to cross.
02:13Because he was also controlling Punjab at that time.
02:15All the police were running on his guesses and hints.
02:18So then Parvez Khattak was not allowed to come.
02:21Then Rana Sinhaullah was stopped by the Supreme Court.
02:24The Supreme Court had facilitated that Imran Khan should be allowed to come.
02:27So then he came and he left.
02:29So then this lack of experience is visible in front of you.
02:32And it is becoming a joke.
02:34It is necessary to understand this as soon as possible,
02:37that either he takes control himself,
02:39or set up a team,
02:41so that the experienced people are with Mohsin Naqvi.
02:44If Mohsin Naqvi thinks that he is successful,
02:46then I don't think that he is a big success.
02:48Very interesting.
02:49Majid Nizami Sahib, in your opinion,
02:51this Jalsa or whatever it was,
02:53this protest, has it ended?
02:55Because Rana Sahib is saying that it has ended unannounced.
02:59We have not seen any leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
03:02Yesterday in my program, Sheikh Muqasab was saying that
03:04we are saving our MNAs to complete the numbers.
03:07But in reality, leadership as such did not come.
03:10Ali Amin Garnapur Sahib also came and went to KPK house.
03:13But will this protest continue tomorrow?
03:16Will this protest continue in the coming days?
03:18Or is this it?
03:22Thank you very much.
03:24Because in this political era,
03:26there are many things that are not in Pakistan's politics.
03:30So I think that this trend has also emerged,
03:34in which workers are leading the protest,
03:37and there is no leadership in it.
03:39The reason for this is that in recent days,
03:42especially in Tehreek-e-Insaf,
03:44we have come to see that
03:46in the point of view of leadership
03:48and in the point of view of workers,
03:50there is no conformity and there is no balance.
03:53Because of this,
03:55leadership, seeing its various compulsions,
03:58is a little on the back foot,
04:00and the workers are leading this thing.
04:02This can be positive for PTI in a way,
04:05but in national politics, this thing is harmful.
04:08Because when you are dealing with a crowd
04:11whose leadership is not in anyone's hands,
04:14then you get to see more scenes of such political tension.
04:20And today and yesterday,
04:22we saw that what happened in Islamabad,
04:25that the police had to retreat somewhere,
04:28whether it was because they maintained peace and security,
04:31or did not fire,
04:33or saved the lives of human beings.
04:35But despite all this,
04:37I think that there is a wrong tradition in politics
04:40in which there is a crowd in front of you without leadership.
04:44So I think that the elders of the state
04:47should come to an agreement
04:49by demonstrating intellectualism in this regard,
04:52because only the government can announce something.
04:56We saw that in August,
04:58such an effort was made
05:00in which Imran Khan convened the Jalsa,
05:03and some confidence building measures were taken.
05:06But after that, in the next Jalsa,
05:08we saw that everything turned upside down
05:11and went the other way.
05:13But there is still room for improvement,
05:15because the steps that are being taken by the government,
05:18I think the situation is getting worse
05:21instead of getting better.
