00:00Their Certificate of Candidacy was signed by 78 aspirants in the Senate until yesterday while the remaining 87 were party-list groups.

00:22On the 6th day of the filing of Certificate of Candidacy and Certificate of Nomination and Acceptance,

00:28different personalities and party-list groups formally filed their candidacies for the 2025 National and Local Elections.

00:37The first to file was the Pinoy Workers' Party List, led by its first nominee, Franz Legaspi.

00:46Among the running senators, the first to file was Jimmy Bondoc, a singer and lawyer,

00:53under the Democratic-Filipino Party, led by former President Rodrigo Duterte.

00:59Bondoc wanted to pass laws to fight corruption in the country

01:04and to recognize the entertainment industry as the main force in the country's economy

01:09and to recognize the music industry of the Philippines to the whole world.

01:13This force is not yet optimized in this time.

01:17It is not like other countries that are using it.

01:20In the Senate, of course, its power is to concur with the treaties.

02:51KONA also included the P3-PWD party list in the leadership of the former Comelec Commissioner, Ruena Guanzon.

02:59Guanzon wanted the persons with disability or PWD to have a 5% share

03:04in the funds of government agencies and local government units.

03:09Including government-owned and controlled corporations,

03:12just like the Gender and Development Program.

03:15When asked about the banning of the P3-PWD in the 19th Congress,

04:07in the acceptance of Comelec throughout the country from today until tomorrow, October 8,
