ದಶಕಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ಜಮ್ಮು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. 370ನೇ ವಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ರದ್ದು ಮಾಡಿ, ಜಮ್ಮು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರವನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡೇ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಭರ್ಜರಿ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿತ್ತು. ಮೂರು ಹಂತಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದು, ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 8ರಂದು ಫಲಿತಾಂಶ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಶನಿವಾರ ಹೊರಬಿದ್ದ ಚುನಾವಣೋತ್ತರ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶಗಳು ಬಿಜೆಪಿಗೆ ಆಘಾತ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿವೆ.
