00:05who according to law firm Wigder LLP, filed a lawsuit against him on October 3rd in Los

00:16The woman who was identified as Jane Roe alleges the 62-year-old singer raped her, subjected

00:21her to unwanted sexual conduct, groped her, sent her lewd text messages and exposed himself

00:26on multiple occasions according to reports.

00:29She reportedly claimed in the lawsuit that the inappropriate behavior started in 2019

00:34when she went to Brooks' home on a styling appointment and allegedly found him coming

00:37out of the shower naked and asking her to perform oral acts.

00:41She reportedly claimed she refused but continued working for him.

00:45She further alleges that Brooks raped her on a word trip to Los Angeles in May 2019

00:50and claims that the trauma from that alleged incident was so unbearable she contemplated

00:55suicide per multiple reports.

00:58After this, Roe reportedly claims in the lawsuit that Brooks continued the alleged inappropriate

01:02behavior and that she tried to ward him off, but he continued.

01:06She eventually stopped working for him and moved to Mississippi.

01:10Prior to Roe's reported filing, Brooks reportedly denied the claims filing a preemptive abusive

01:15complaint against her under the Declaratory Judgment Act as an anonymous plaintiff.

01:20He tried to block her allegations from going public alleging that Roe was trying to destroy

01:25his professional reputation unless he gave her a multi-million dollar payout according

01:30to Variety.

01:31The suit was reportedly filed anonymously on September 13th describing the plaintiff

01:36as a quote, celebrity and public figure who resides in Tennessee and had claims of attempted

01:41extortion, defamation, and infliction of emotional distress according to the outlet.

01:46Despite the complaint, Roe reportedly filed her suit on October 3rd in a Los Angeles court

01:50under the State Sexual Abuse and Cover-Up Accountability Act.

01:54Brooks did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Access Hollywood, but he

01:58is scheduled to perform in Las Vegas on October 3rd.

02:02Roe reportedly claims in the lawsuit that she has been a hair and makeup artist for

02:05more than 30 years and first worked with Brooks' wife, Trisha Yearwood.

02:10She claims she began working for Brooks in 2017, but worked with him more frequently

02:14in 2019 when she was going through financial hardships.
