Second body found after fire, babysitter believed dead

A babysitter is believed to have died in a house fire, with police discovering a second body at the burnt remains of a home east of Brisbane.

00:00At about 7 a.m. yesterday morning numerous triple O calls were received in
00:05relation to a townhouse that was on fire in the complex in Bayside Court at
00:09Thornside. All emergency services attended located a premises here fully
00:15involved in fire. Upon suppression of the fire, fire service gained entry to the
00:20premises and tragically located the body of a small child. That child has
00:25since been removed from the scene late last night. A 31 year old female who
00:31police believe was present at the time of the fire has yet to be accounted for
00:35and we have grave concerns for her welfare. An investigation center codenamed
00:40Operation Whiskey Agar has been established at the Bayside Child
00:45Protection Investigation Unit. That's being run in conjunction with the
00:48Bayside CIB and also the State Homicide Investigation Unit.
