02:29For IDX Channel

02:41PT Master Print TBK has joined me in the IDX Channel Bursa Effect Indonesia studio.
02:46Ibu Sindi Kusuma, Director Marketing of PT Master Print TBK
02:50and also Mr. Tungga Wijaya, Director Operational of PT Master Print TBK.
02:54Good morning, Ibu Sindi and Mr. Tungga.
02:56Good morning.
02:57How are you?
02:58I'm fine.
02:58Thank you for coming and wish you good luck
03:00because today you are officially a member of Bursa Effect Indonesia.
03:04But before discussing further,
03:05maybe you can also explain to the audience what this company is like,
03:08since when it was established, and then what kind of business it runs.
03:12Please, Ibu Sindi.
03:13Thank you and good morning.
03:16PT Master Print TBK was established in 2006
03:19and PTMR was initially a company that was active in the business sector
03:24as a distributor for packaging, packaging, and also for the rental of industrial goods,
03:31including spare parts and services.
03:33And we are focused on providing a packaging solution with affordable price
03:40but with good quality,
03:42where we also serve a wide variety of industries from F&B, FMCG, Pharmacy, Cosmetics,
03:49and all of our customers are from the MSMEs, middle class, and even MSMEs.
03:55We have a vision to become a one-stop solution center for manufacturing industries
04:01and we believe in the existence of Industrial Revolution 4.0
04:05where the importance is to maximize efficiency and productivity
04:10which will be very important and play a big role in manufacturing.
04:13Okay, so what are the types of products that have been traded so far?
04:16And what are the brands?
04:18Maybe you can tell us more.
04:22For Master Print itself, we have several principles,
04:26which are all from abroad.
04:29There are two principles that have been listed in the New York Stock Exchange,
04:34which are Seal Air Company and Livio Research.
04:38Seal Air Company is a protective packaging company
04:41that is quite famous with the Cryo-Vac brand.
04:44Livio is more towards blister packaging,
04:47generally for pharmaceuticals.
04:49Other than those two, we have Thermal Inject,
04:54String Film,
04:57and then there is
04:59Null System as a mental detector and check wear,
05:05Casing Sosis, Cellulose,
05:07and several other products.
05:10And we also enter the packaging processing
05:14in the packaging field, such as Thermal Forming Film, Vacuum Film,
05:19Retort Film, and some that are compatible with
05:27processing.
05:28Okay, now let's talk about the market itself.
05:31What do you think, from your perspective,
05:34if we look at the business process, what is it like now?
05:37If we look at the increase in the macroeconomy,
05:41we see a growth,
05:42not only in terms of consumption in food and beverage,
05:46but also for pharmaceuticals and the cosmetic industry.
05:49And with this, our team is also very aggressive
05:53for market penetration in Indonesia.
05:56And in the past three years, we have seen a double-digit growth per year,
06:00which is around 15 to 20 percent.
06:03And where we are not only for the addition of products,
06:07but there is also an expansion of the market that we can serve.
06:09First, we started in FMCG, Food Manufacturing.
06:13And as we add more products,
06:16our solution can now reach the industry market,
06:19such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, personal hygiene,
06:23logistics, distribution, stationery,
06:25and for example, there are companies that want to export their products abroad.
06:31Our machine can meet the ISO and HSCCP requirements,
06:37which are the main criteria for them to export the product.
06:40Okay.
06:41What about the support industry itself?
06:43Is it becoming one of the contributors,
06:46a sponsor related to the business activities of its own shareholders?
06:50Actually, if we look at the contribution of industry supporters,
06:56such as food and beverage, and also for pharmaceuticals,
07:01it's quite significant.
07:02Because for our customer portfolio, 68% is in food and beverage,
07:0813% is in pharmaceuticals.
07:10And if we look at the two industries,
07:13if we look at it, it's actually a fundamental industry.
07:15For example, if there is a recession, it is more resilient.
07:19And also, those are the basic needs of our consumers.
07:23And for us, the main target is customer satisfaction.
07:25Because we focus on long-term cooperation with our customers,
07:29where customer satisfaction is very important.
07:32Because that's how we grow our relationship with our customers.
07:35And we believe in this good relationship,
07:38and we have a good after-sales service,
07:40and they believe in us.
07:42When our customers grow, we grow together with them too.
07:46Alright.
07:47Now, the position of the shareholder.
07:48Mr. Tungga, maybe you can give an insight to the audience.
07:52What is it like right now?
07:54The shareholder for some of our products is a market leader.
07:59As Mr. Ketawitada or I have mentioned,
08:02we are a distributor of sealed air packaging,
08:06which is quite famous in the world.
08:09Then Livio Research,
08:11in pharmaceuticals,
08:13it is a multinational company brand.
08:17So for some products, we are a market leader.
08:21There is another one, we have a product like
08:24thermoforming film,
08:26we have 90% of the market in Indonesia.
08:29Which area is the shareholder in, Mr. Tungga?
08:33For thermoforming film,
08:37in food manufacturing,
08:39like blister,
08:41it's in pharmaceuticals.
08:43For shrink film, it's wider.
08:46It can go into food packaging,
08:49pharmaceuticals,
08:51household, personal care.
08:53So the market is wider.
08:54From the industry side,
08:55what about the market area?
08:57The market area is still
09:00all over Indonesia, sir.
09:01Oh, all over Indonesia.
09:02We have branches in Surabaya and Semarang.
09:05Ah, that's it.
09:06And we will see what it's like behind the scenes
09:09when choosing to become a listed company.
09:11We will discuss it in the next segment.
09:12We will be back in a moment.
09:25Thank you for joining us in Market Review.
09:27Next segment, we will be bringing you
09:29a profile from PT Master Print Tbk
09:31that has just been launched in Bursa Efek Indonesia.
09:33You can watch the full video on Televisa.
09:36We will be discussing the business sector
09:38of Perseroan,
09:39which is the official distributor
09:41and supplier of packaging goods.
09:43Next, the shares that have been released to the public
09:45are 435 million shares,
09:48or 6.5 million shares.
09:50Next, the shares that have been released to the public
09:52are 435 million shares,
09:54or around 22.81% of the total.
09:57The shares that have been placed
09:58are fully registered by Perseroan.
10:00It was recorded on October 8, 2004
10:02with the code PTMR.
10:05Then, the IPO price is Rp128 per share
10:08and the revenue is Rp55.68 billion.
10:14And next,
10:15let's see what the use of IPO funds is for.
10:1846% is for PT Global Putra Kusuma
10:22and the operating capital is around 54%.
10:26You can watch the full video on Televisa.
10:30Next, the composition of the holders
10:32of PT Master Print Tbk after the IPO.
10:35PT Mitrapek Tbk,
10:38RD Kusuma,
10:40and Masa Rakat,
10:4222.81%.
10:44We will continue the discussion
10:46with Mrs. Sindi Kusuma
10:48and Mr. Tungga Widjaya from Master Print Tbk.
10:50Mrs. Sindi,
10:52talking about the current situation,
10:54I would like to know more about
10:56the background of Perseroan.
10:59After operating for several years,
11:01becoming a market leader,
11:03why did you choose to be a registered company?
11:06To strengthen our fundamental business.
11:10We need the funds to develop our business.
11:14We will also add new complementary products
11:18for our customers.
11:20With the globalisation and aggressive competition
11:24from the competitors,
11:26both local and overseas,
11:28we decided to enter the stock market
11:31so that there is an open information
11:34for our customers,
11:35for the investors,
11:36both local and foreign,
11:38so that those who want to work with us
11:42can be more certain
11:45if they are listed in Indonesia IDX.
11:48We want to find a strategic partner
11:54to help build our fundamental business
11:57so that in the future,
11:59we can produce locally
12:01some of our existing packaging products.
12:04Why did you choose IPO?
12:07It's about fundraising,
12:09to find fresh funds for the company's personnel.
12:12If we look at the competition,
12:14and the current situation,
12:16there are many foreign investors
12:18who want to enter the Indonesian market.
12:20But they also want to know more information.
12:23And with the IPO,
12:25we have made it public,
12:27and also give them reliability,
12:29more certainty,
12:31so that when they enter Indonesia,
12:33they can see the open information.
12:35We think of it as long-term,
12:38because it is to help develop
12:40for the future development,
12:42where our cooperation will help
12:44open more windows of opportunity.
12:47Yes, open information in the public,
12:49good energy,
12:50it can be one of the sweeteners
12:52for the investors.
12:54Mr. Tunggal,
12:55how do you see the reception of investors?
12:58So far?
12:59If we look at it,
13:01over-subscribed up to 20 times.
13:0320 times?
13:04Yes.
13:05Maybe 20 times more.
13:07The reception is quite good, sir.
13:09So we also want to say thank you
13:11to the people who believe in us
13:13to buy PT Masterprint shares.
13:17Talking about fund management,
13:19or the use of funds,
13:20what is the IPO for?
13:21It has been said earlier,
13:2255 million rupiahs.
13:2455.680 million.
13:2846% we will use
13:31to buy GPK shares,
13:33Global Putra Kusuma.
13:35As many as 99% of the shares,
13:38the purpose is to cross-market
13:40Global Putra too.
13:42Automatically to increase
13:43the company's income too.
13:4654% we use for working capital,
13:49such as buying spare parts,
13:51machines,
13:53consumables,
13:56for marketing and promotion.
14:00Like Mr. Ketawi,
14:02this week there is an all-pack exhibition.
14:05It is the largest exhibition in Indonesia
14:07for packaging.
14:09We are participating in the all-pack.
14:13Maybe the audience
14:15who wants to visit
14:18or visit the all-pack exhibition,
14:21we welcome them to come.
14:24Okay, that's it.
14:25Fortunately, we can work together
14:27in the expo.
14:29Talking about the need for funds,
14:31what should be done in the IPO?
14:33Is it according to the target?
14:35Or is it according to the plan?
14:37If we talk about the business plan.
14:40Actually, if we talk about the packaging industry,
14:42the market is very large.
14:44There are many types of plastic.
14:48And with the funds we need in this IPO,
14:52we will definitely have additional new products.
14:55We have also committed to add
14:57two new products.
14:58One is Ulma from Italy,
15:00where we prepare a solution for ready-made meals.
15:03Now there are more ready-made meals
15:05for busy individuals.
15:07We prepare the machine from MAP,
15:09thermoforming,
15:10and also the plastic film.
15:12We also have an addition,
15:14for example, Bizerba from Germany.
15:16Our partner provides
15:18a check-wear price labeler,
15:20where for check-wearing,
15:22there is a multi-function,
15:24there is a price labeling.
15:26These two solutions
15:28allow us to enter the industry.
15:30We can also enter Horeca,
15:32processing,
15:34which expands our network market.
15:36And of course,
15:38with two new additional products,
15:40we are also aggressive in marketing,
15:42as Mr. Tungga said,
15:44for promotion,
15:46for user experience.
15:48And for our showroom,
15:50we also welcome customers,
15:52they can trial their products.
15:54Sometimes we also hold seminars,
15:56inviting potential customers
15:58who want to know more
16:00about our machines or products.
16:02And we also believe that
16:04with the existence of this IPO,
16:06it will provide exposure
16:08not only for the Indonesian market
16:10with customers only,
16:12but also for partners
16:14who may be in packaging,
16:16who want to develop more
16:18in Indonesia.
16:20We saw earlier that there are some
16:22that have to be imported from abroad,
16:24the machines themselves.
16:26How about the maintenance
16:28and preparation from STM?
16:30There was also a request earlier,
16:32that means the tools or machines
16:34are usually sent, right?
16:36To partners' companies.
16:38How is it here?
16:40Usually, from the consultation,
16:42we help to guide.
16:44Because each product
16:46and each customer
16:48has a different request.
16:50So we are not in a position
16:52as a machine seller,
16:54but more like a solution provider.
16:56Where it is a customizable solution.
16:58And for the service,
17:00our team is dedicated.
17:02For example, if there is a problem
17:04or installation,
17:06we respond within 24 hours.
17:08So it minimizes downtime.
17:10Because it is very important
17:12for production efficiency.
17:14And for us, there is also a warranty
17:16with the customer,
17:18there is also a service warranty,
17:20What are the future targets
17:22when it comes to
17:24the use of IPO funds?
17:26What do you want to do?
17:28I remember there was a fresh fund,
17:30even though the distribution composition
17:32was already mapped.
17:34Some of the fresh funds
17:36will be used for product development.
17:38As you know,
17:40the competition for this industry
17:42is quite large.
17:44And we will not rely
17:46on one product.
17:48Therefore, we will develop
17:50several products that are compatible
17:52with what is already available.
17:54For example,
17:56we have a plan to develop
17:58casing sausages.
18:00Casing sausages.
18:02Now we have
18:04a supply for
18:06casing cellulose.
18:08Maybe we will develop
18:10for plastic casing
18:12or collagen casing.
18:14So it means you have started
18:16to add to several industry sectors,
18:18if we look at the products
18:20according to the needs of the packaging.
18:22We have entered all industry sectors.
18:24This is interesting.
18:26So what is the potential
18:28of the future?
18:30When it comes to IPO,
18:32what are the challenges?
18:34We will discuss in the next segment.
18:46Tungga Wijaya, Director Operational PT Masterprint TBK
19:16What are the performance
19:18that must be guaranteed?
19:20This is about the continuation.
19:22If we look at it,
19:24now it has become a registered company.
19:26If we look at it,
19:28we are in competition.
19:30But what we
19:32put into
19:34foremost importance
19:36is we have
19:38responsibility to our customers.
19:40Where the product
19:42must be of the best quality.
19:44Our business is not just a machine,
19:46but it is also a consumable.
19:48Where there is a continuation,
19:50for example, for plastic, tin, etc.
19:52And outside the product issue,
19:54we also experience
19:56growth in MSMEs.
19:58So we have anticipated
20:00the trend.
20:02Not only in the industry,
20:04but if we look at the movement,
20:06a lot of housekeepers
20:08are developing to become MSMEs.
20:10There are also a lot of MSMEs
20:12who want to export their products.
20:14Where they say, the industrial machine
20:16is very expensive.
20:18But actually,
20:20with us,
20:22there is also an entry level,
20:24where the machine and packaging
20:26are already a mixture
20:28for export.
20:30But the quality
20:32can be for ISO, HSC, CPE export.
20:34FDA approved.
20:36And it is also very
20:38maintained for their quality.
20:40I think it is very important
20:42for their long term development.
20:44Moreover, we know MSMEs continue to develop
20:46and have become the attention of the government.
20:48Especially in the current condition,
20:50where the informal sectors are growing.
20:52Mr. Tunggalanta, how do you see
20:54the next challenge?
20:56Will it be a challenge
20:58for MSMEs?
21:00Yes, it will automatically
21:02be a challenge for us.
21:04Especially after this IPO,
21:06we have to increase
21:08the competition.
21:10Give more value
21:12to our customers.
21:14So that is our biggest challenge
21:16right now.
21:18Okay, now in the digital era,
21:20is this also the end of zeroing
21:22if we talk about digitalization?
21:24Automatically, the digital era
21:26is very developing right now.
21:28As Mr. Indah said earlier,
21:30we are developing e-commerce
21:32to reach
21:34B2C.
21:36As you know, B2C is quite large
21:38in Indonesia.
21:40So we will go there as well.
21:42We will develop other business
21:44segments with the addition of other products.
21:46Okay,
21:48so what is the prospect for the future?
21:50As you can see,
21:52there is an industry sector
21:54that is growing that can be used.
21:56MSMEs, then the challenge
21:58is not alone.
22:00But to maintain this,
22:02performance is needed.
22:04How about the quality?
22:06Is it from the construction or internal?
22:08We are quite optimistic.
22:10From the external factor,
22:12such as market growth,
22:14but internally,
22:16we have a strategy
22:18for the growth strategy.
22:20Vertical growth and horizontal growth.
22:22And we are not just
22:24adding products.
22:26From casing, sausage,
22:28so from outer packaging,
22:30we are now into sausage.
22:32From the casing,
22:34we are expanding
22:36the market segment that we can serve.
22:38For example, MSMEs,
22:40not only for the industry,
22:42such as vacuum bag,
22:44sealer, but also printing,
22:46coding, and marking for MSMEs.
22:48Where if we see,
22:50it's not just based on the expiry date,
22:52but actually there is a track entry.
22:54So if the producer
22:56has distributed to the supermarket,
22:58and if there is an issue,
23:00there can be a track entry
23:02for the codes
23:04to be traced back to the production.
23:06Those are the things that we need to
23:08deliver again.
23:10That is our homework,
23:12to deliver more
23:14so that there is more understanding
23:16on actually the benefit of this.
23:18So it's not just the expiry date.
23:20We usually have
23:22seminars,
23:24BPOM.
23:26So there is still
23:28a generation of education
23:30that is part of the entertainment
23:32to the consumer.
23:34Not only we market the product.
23:36The point is how the community
23:38also has additional knowledge
23:40with the use of the products
23:42that are produced by the MSMEs.
23:44Well, it's time to say goodbye.
23:46Mrs. Cindy Kusuma, thank you very much
