Red Lions beat Cardinals in OT to finish Round 1 with a roar

Defending champion San Beda University hands its finals rival Mapua University another heartache after a 76-69 overtime win in the NCAA Season 100 men’s basketball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on Oct. 8, 2024. The Red Lions racked up three consecutive victories to cap the first round with a 6-3 card, tied with Colegio de San Juan de Letran, and Mapua.
