00:05In Davao City, the former member of his cabinet is one of the opponents of the former President Rodrigo Duterte in the Mayoral Race.

00:19Duterte's and Nugrales' politics in Davao City came to life again.

00:24The Certificate of Candidacy appointed Attorney Carlo Nugrales as the Mayor.

00:28He is one of the opponents of the former President Rodrigo Duterte who filed as a member of the COC yesterday.

00:34To the people of Davao, we deserve the real choice.

00:39We can choose who we want.

00:42You don't have a choice anymore.

00:47Davao and all Davawenos deserve a chance to have real, meaningful and lasting change.

00:55Before becoming a member of the COC, Nugrales resigned as the Chairperson of the Civil Service Commission yesterday.

01:01Duterte and Nugrales have long been opponents of each other's politics.

01:06But the wind changed when Duterte endorsed Nugrales as the President of Davao City during the 2016 election.

01:14Carlo Nugrales became Duterte's Cabinet Secretary and Acting Spokesman.

01:20Rodolfo Cubos and Rueno Caballes will run for Mayor of Davao City.

01:26Nugrales' brother Margarita Ignacia and Duterte's daughter Pulong will run for Mayor of Davao City.

01:37Rex Labis and Janet Labines will run for Mayor of Davao City.

01:45In Manila, Isko Moreno received his Certificate of Candidacy for Mayor.

01:51I respectfully asked Ate Hany if I could return as Mayor.

02:02And swiftly, she answered, no, I'm running for re-election.

02:09She has the right to do so.

02:12So what I did is, I kissed her, said goodbye, and hugged Doc Pox.

02:20Because you know, I really love those people.

02:26Because of Danny Lacuna.

02:28Mayor Hany Lacuna's father, former Manila Vice Mayor Danny Lacuna,

02:33was Isko's mentor in politics.

02:36The last time we spoke to each other was, I think, July 12.

02:40He said he will run.

02:43I didn't say anything. I just listened to him.

02:47And that's face-to-face.

02:49Tutok Tuwin Party List Representative Sam Verzosa will also run for Mayor of Manila.

02:56The people of Manila have the right to choose what they want.

03:00Because it's sad, everyone is fighting.

03:03The COC also invited Alvin Ebisilya Karingal, Michael Gosay, and Jerry Sindo Garcia as Mayors.

03:12Two more Janis will run for Tevez-Digamo in Negros Oriental.

03:18Pamplona Mayor Janis Digamo will run as Congresswoman of the 3rd District of the province.

03:24She is the widow of the Pinaslang Governor Ruel Digamo.

03:29She will face Janis Tevez-Gaston, ex-Congressman Arnolfo Arnie Tevez Jr.

03:35The two Janis will fight for Tevez's position, which was included in the killing of Digamo in March 2023.

03:43The 3rd District Representative, Independent Candidate Reynaldo Lopez, will also run.
