00:00Within the eight-day filing of the Certificate of Candidacy, 184 people obtained the Certificate of Candidacy in the form of senatorial candidates.

00:18160 party-list groups also obtained candidacies.

00:27Pastor Apollo Q. Buloy will run for senator even though he is in prison for child abuse and human trafficking cases.

00:36Under the Certificate of Candidacy issued by his lawyer, the Workers and Peasants Party, or WPP, is included as a party.

00:44How will he campaign?

00:46We will campaign for him. The people of the Philippines will campaign for him.

00:50Like other aspirants, he accepted the COC but there is no guarantee that his name will be included in the ballot.

00:57Considering that the COC is already here, ma'am, I will beg of you that we will not answer first because if ever the question will be raised to the common leg and the common leg has to decide about it.

01:07But under the WPP, they accepted that Q. Buloy will run under their party.

01:13According to the group's president, Atty. Sani Matula, none of the three authorized signatures in their group passed the CONA or Certificate of Nomination and Acceptance of Q. Buloy.

01:25The CONA is one of the requirements that the common leg and the Certificate of Candidacy are required.

01:32According to Q. Buloy's camp, it is approved by the WPP that the COC should be included under the party.

01:41According to the common leg, there is a time for the commission to resolve this issue.

01:47The candidacy also accepted for Kiko Pangilinan to return to the Senate, accompanied by his wife Sharon Coneta.
