00:15I mean, I've seen you and the kids probably for, I think, 13 days since we were married.

00:21So, it must have been good because I'm still smiling.

00:31What about the day itself? Was it a fairytale day for you?
00:34It was. It was absolutely superb. The sun, everything. I mean, it was just a perfect Melbourne day.
00:40There are such things as great weather in Melbourne and we had it that day. It was fantastic.
00:44Now, apart from being beautiful, you're also very emotional. Were you emotional? Did you cry?
00:48I cried. Lauren cried because Lauren, my daughter, she read a poem.
00:52Tell us about that because that was a special moment for her wasn't it?
00:55It was really special, yeah.
00:57Loz has had a little trouble picking up the idea of school and reading and writing
01:02and she's done exceptionally well in the last year.
01:04And she read a poem at the wedding which, you know, for her especially,
01:08to be able to stand up there in front of everyone and read this wonderful Australian poem was great.
01:16She was worried, you weren't, but she was worried that she might stumble over these words.
01:20She apparently wasn't. No, other people were. Her school teacher was a very good friend of ours
01:26and she was worried. She came to the wedding, but no, she was great.
01:30She's a good performer, that girl.
01:32I wonder where she gets that from. How was mum?
01:34Was mum a good performer?
01:36Oh, yes. Lauren cried at the ring ceremony moment and after that I stopped crying.
01:46You know, it's like the wedding had to stop and mum and dad said,
01:49and you were right, you were wiping your tears.
01:51Okay, we're ready to go again.
01:53But I've seen the video about six times now.
01:56Well, you and Neil have been together for a long time.
01:58Why did you feel you had to marry? Why marry?
02:01Oh, well, in love.
02:04Why not?
02:05Why not? And the girls, I think it's important for a family.
02:10I mean, Neil isn't the father of my children, but he is in every sense of the word.
02:14We wanted to unify and it was the most romantic day.
02:17It was wonderful and everyone kept saying to me,
02:19oh, you know, before the wedding it gets really tense.
02:21And the leading up to the wedding, I thought, was as romantic as the day itself.
02:26And it was great. It was a celebration of what we are, what we mean to each other.
02:31And it really has made a difference, I think.
