00:09provides good jobs and growth in every part of the UK. Films, British films, go
00:15all over the world. Independent films like Bend It Like Beckham, Trainspotting,
00:19people love them, they tell different stories that draw on every region and
00:24the great diversity that Britain has to offer and by legislating to provide tax
00:29relief for the independent film industry we're going to make sure that
00:32we really unlock the potential of this huge and growing industry here in
00:36Britain. There's people like Steve McQueen's, Danny Boyle's, they all came
00:41up through independent film. We want to make sure that we have a whole new
00:45generation that is able to unlock those opportunities for people across Britain
00:49and attract far more investment into the UK film industry so that we can continue
00:54to thrive and that we will rival Hollywood as one of the greatest film
01:00locations in the world.
