00:00Kevin, two late goals for Jersey there in the last 10 minutes, a couple of deflections

00:10Yeah look, we knew they were going to come here and go at us, we had a way we wanted
00:15to set up and it worked for 75-80 minutes. We probably weren't good enough at the ball
00:21when they had the opportunity to play and then when we did look to go in behind we didn't
00:25get the right pass so we probably got to question ourselves there with the quality
00:30on the ball. But the first goal, it bounced around a couple of times in the outbox and
00:38sometimes you just can't be able to clout the ball anywhere. I don't know, it was a
00:46long way away, the weather was bad so I can't really see it but we'll have a look on the
00:49video and I think we've got to be dealing with it, it's in an area where we should be
00:52dealing with it so I'm disappointed. The second one's come with us pushing a little
00:56bit high, we put four players forward trying to get something but it happens. I just think
01:05we've been vulnerable to soft goals and it's a bit disappointing but we need to move on
01:12quickly, we've got another tough game on Saturday so we need to now focus on that because this
01:15one's done.
01:17You said for 80 minutes so it didn't look like, as much as you know what Jersey are
01:21going to do, they didn't look like finding a way through really before that did they?
01:25Listen, you've got to be defensively sound for 95 minutes against these guys. I think
01:30when we played them here last season it was 2-0 and they scored 2 in the last 10 minutes
01:34and I think you'll find in the season before when we played them I think they scored 2
01:38in the last 15 minutes so they just keep plugging away, it doesn't matter, you watch what they
01:43do and teams have to be able to match that and obviously we couldn't for the 95 minutes
01:49we needed to so where are the issues? Were we positive enough? Maybe we could have done
01:57a little bit more going forward but at the same time we just need to solidify ourselves
02:02in games at the minute and just get some performances together and again it was close today but
02:09it's not going to happen.
02:11Thoughts now on Whiteleaf on Saturday, obviously they're another team going well this season aren't they?
02:16Yeah look, every game's tough in this league whether they're top or 20th but these sides
02:22will be good on the ball, they'll move the ball around well, they're going to want to
02:25come here and play, I think they play on the surface similar to this. We're going to need
02:30to be at our best to get something from it and we'll work hard on Thursday and try and
02:35do something about it.
02:37Thoughts on going forward, obviously I guess you liked when you did have chances, just
02:42a bit more composure maybe needed when you got some areas?
02:45Yeah look, I think the shots we had were probably from 20 yards, 15, 20 yards, we didn't really
02:51get a clear cut opportunity and look you've got to credit them as well, they defend well,
02:55they defend strong, they've got four decent lads and just work hard, they've got a big
02:59lad in goal, he sort of orchestrates and demands what he wants from the people in front of
03:03him. They're not easy to break down but you've got to find a way and we just couldn't.
03:09And squad wise heading into Saturday, same squad?
03:15Yeah I think the majority of the squad stays the same, we're getting a few names coming
03:19back in week by week, Matt Venom's now got a couple of appearances, Louis' first appearance
03:24for us this season incredibly, we had Ed Dryden back warming up this week so it's coming together
03:32slowly like it does for us and we'll just look to try and be positive and hopefully
03:38we can just keep gaining some momentum and get some results as well.
03:42Louis' first game, so he'll be good for the run out, get that under his belt?
03:47Yeah look, we played him in the nine because we knew he'd give them trouble with pace but
03:50we just didn't put the ball into the areas that he needed and obviously he needs some
03:55game time as well so it's something to work on and we'll endeavour to do that.
