00:00A have-a-go hero who stopped a ram raid on a press and jewellery shop has been named.
00:07Mohsin Bux, who is the manager of Eat Indian in Fishergate, which is just down the road
00:11from Whittles, was passing by at half past five on Monday 30th September when he heard
00:17a lot of commotion. When other people were running away, he decided that he was going
00:21to help out and he stood in between the silver Ford Transit van and the smashed up window
00:27which was already smashed up by this point, until the driver gave up and reversed and
00:32drove away. Now, Mr Bux's manager, the owner of Eat Indian, who is Faisal Patel, has come
00:41out and said that this guy needs celebrating. He called him a brave hero and that he only
00:48did what other people would have done because it's a fantastic community in that business
00:53world. He said that he's a humble guy but plenty of people have been into the shop to
00:59celebrate his actions. Now, one person has been charged in relation to this incident.
01:05Nicholas Maxwell of Lorraine Avenue, Fullwood, has been charged. Beaverbrooks, who own Whittles,
01:11which is rebranding to Loop shortly, they don't want to comment at the minute on Mr
01:17Bux's actions because of the ongoing police incident but take a look at the CCTV camera
01:23footage now and see what you think of what Mr Bux did that day.
