00:21But no, I grew up here when I was in the early 70s, so we're just speaking about the little

00:27Harbour Bridge just on the other side of Tumbalong, heading towards Wagga.

00:32I remember as a child, travelling along, crossing that bridge, very, very tight through there

00:38obviously with transport.

00:39It was almost like mirror to mirror.

00:41And what about trucks?

00:42Would trucks have to wait for one to come the other direction?

00:45No.

00:46Straight through.

00:47No.

00:48I believe so, yeah.

00:49Geez, they'd be scraping mirrors, wouldn't they?

00:50Very much so, yeah.

00:51And Sylvia's Gap, you know, which is obviously a renowned part of the highway, which is notorious

00:55for fatalities and accidents.

00:56Yeah, that was probably the hotspot for that time area on any road in Australia.
