A 22-year-old woman is dead and two people injured after a multi-car crash and shooting on the Bruce highway at the sunshine coast. Police say a man has been arrested and three separate crime scenes are being investigated.

00:40The alleged offender was arrested on Steve Irwin Way.
00:44He was located not far from where he'd taken that vehicle and apprehended by police.
00:50The highway was closed for southbound traffic, left waiting for hours.

01:07There are a lot of people travelling along the Bruce Highway over the Easter long weekend
01:11and police are hopeful that some of them may have dash cam that is pertinent to this investigation.
