00:11The whole thing started after a routine traffic stop,
00:13with officers saying they spotted the vehicle moving erratically.
00:16However, when the officer was still in the car,
00:18the stopped vehicle takes off and the chase was on.
00:21Authorities say the driver was clocked at speeds upwards of 70 miles per hour
00:26in residential areas where the speed limit is just 20 miles per hour.
00:29He even moved to the wrong side of the road, where luckily there was no oncoming traffic.
00:34Police say he barely avoided hitting a truck before moving back to the correct lane,
00:38where moments later this happened.
00:40The vehicle smashes into a barrier, collapsing its front end and leaving the driver stunned.
00:4522-year-old driver Billy Raunchy was pulled from the vehicle and was arrested,
00:49charged and has now been sentenced,
00:51with police sergeant James Skeet saying about the ordeal,
00:54quote,
00:54Thankfully, no one was injured by this display of driving that night,
00:58but that is no thanks to him.
