00:00The Banco Central ng Pilipinas or BSP reported the foreign direct investment or FDI net inflows

00:06rose by 5.5 percent in July. This amounted to 820 million dollars higher than the 778 million

00:14dollars net inflows recorded in July 2023. The central bank added that non-residents reinvestment

00:21of earnings and their net investments in equity capital other than reinvestment of earnings

00:27increased by 12.8 percent and 16.8 percent respectively. Moreover the FDI net inflows

00:34in January to July this year reached 5.3 billion dollars higher by 7.5 percent

00:41than the 4.9 billion dollars in the same period last year.
