00:00Martinique declared a curfew on Friday as local authorities tried to kill a popular
00:04protest over a high cost of living in which one person was killed.
00:08The measure will be extended until Monday, October 14 and includes a ban on the Atlanta
00:14inhabitants walking in the streets, gathering, holding rallies or staying in public places.
00:20The perky sales and transport of fuels and fireworks are also banned during this period.
00:26Meanwhile, police forces are patrolling and imposing several penalties on offenders.
00:56I'm a bit angry because, even if we're talking about the high cost of living, setting fire
01:04to a shop and looting shops doesn't help matters, especially since they reached a compromise
01:09yesterday that they're going to finalize this afternoon, normally.
01:16But looting like this isn't easy.
01:22I don't know if they realize what they're doing because I suppose they've got their
01:25parents or relatives who have to work in the supermarket.
