00:06The electricity bill of Meralco is going down by 36 cents per kilowatt-hour for the month of October.

00:15This is due to a decrease in the generation charge due to the lower electricity bill from the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market or WESEM.

00:23The decrease in the average demand of 544 megawatts and the average capacity on outage of 519 megawatts was helped by the decrease of the electricity bill from WESEM.

00:35Aside from this, the transmission charge is also going down.

00:39It is called BWIS and other charges.

00:42There is no change in the distribution charge of Meralco.

00:45The decrease in the consumption of 200 kilowatt-hours is at P72 and the consumption of 300 kilowatt-hours is at P108.

00:55The decrease in the consumption of 400 kilowatt-hours is at P143 and the consumption of 500 kilowatt-hours is at P179.

01:07Meralco explains that it would be better to decrease the electricity bill this month if the 32 cents from the Gas Sale and Purchase Agreement or GSPA is reduced.

01:19Because the pass-through fuel prices of Malampaya is higher under the new GSPA.

01:27The Department of Agriculture has already issued a temporary ban on the importation of goats from America.

01:36Under Memorandum Order No. 43, Series of 2024, Agriculture Secretary Francisco T. Laurel Jr. ordered the ban to be lifted last June.

01:48It should be noted that the agency has already prohibited the importation of goats from America.

01:57In addition, the Bureau of Animal Industry has issued strict orders to ban the distribution of infectious diseases to animals and humans.
