Her stage performances were particularly frequent from 1926 to 1929, until she made her Hollywood film debut in 1930 in the comedy Loose Ankles, with Loretta Young and Douglas Fairbanks Jr.. In ten years she took part in 58 films, with supporting roles, until The Mistake of the God of Chang (1940), which ended her career. She died in 1975 at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune. She was cremated and her ashes were kept at Meehan Funeral Home in Spring Lake.
