02:47I'm a million lights up in the sky, just look up and you'll see my love.
03:07Thank you so much.
03:17Hiya James and Lauren, now we've got a few more winners that we're going to be talking to tonight.
03:30The reason for this is four years ago I was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and two and a half years ago I was told I only had six months left.
03:40But obviously I went against that, so yeah.
03:46You're a very impressive young lady, is there anything else that you would like to add?
03:52I just want to say thank you to everyone who supported me.
03:56Couldn't have done it without them to be honest.
03:58Faith in Families has been running projects across Swansea for the last 25 years
04:03and to actually receive an outstanding charity award tonight is incredible for us.
04:10It just helps us to say to the children and families that we are working with that they mean something,
04:16they're valuable, we love them, we adore them and we're going to fight and push back on poverty.
04:26Can you take the mic?
04:28Hello.
04:31Nice to meet you.
04:37How does it feel to win?
04:39I feel very excited.
04:42One of the things you've always talked about is hope, which is the spirit of these awards.
04:47Yeah, this is something that's before everything, thank everybody for being here
04:54and thanking the charity too for honouring the girls.
04:58It's a huge achievement for me and for them beyond everything.
05:07Goodbye everyone, lovely to see you.
05:27A warm Welsh welcome to Beverly Knox!
05:32So come on!
05:34Let me see you then, let's go!
05:37Greatest state of Ireland
05:40We've got a speaker, you don't have to sit down, let's go!
05:47Greatest state of Ireland
05:51So don't say the air is cool today
05:55And it's better that I don't send the rain
06:00And it's best if heaven holds back the clouds
06:05Because inside of me there's fire on the train
06:09So every day I find that golden clover
06:14And every day, lady, love is at my door
06:18And gold to me, I find is in remission
06:23To love I have no more
06:27But you know I'm feeling good, never better
06:32That's the greatest state of my life
06:36Yes it is, I'm feeling good, never better
06:42That's the greatest state of my life
06:47And so don't say you're heated from down today
06:52And it's better you keep your prints on ice
06:57And it's best if you've got that juice down in your soul
07:01Yes it is, I'm feeling good, never better
07:04So repeat after me, repeat after me
07:08I'm feeling good, never better
07:12Hold your head up high, reach your heart and say
07:15Everything's gonna be alright
07:19Don't think twice, shake from inside, say
07:23Everything's gonna be alright
07:27Hold your time, raise your mind, say
07:31Everything's gonna be alright
07:35You'll see the light
07:37Turn around this time and say
07:39Everything's gonna be alright
07:43Hold on tight
07:45Reach up high and say
07:47Everything's gonna be alright
07:51You'll see the light
07:53Turn around this time and say
07:55Everything's gonna be alright
07:59Hold on tight
08:01Reach up high and sing it
08:03Everything's gonna be alright
08:07You'll see the light
08:09Turn around this time and say
08:11Everything's gonna be alright
08:15Hold on tight
08:17Reach up high and say
08:19Everything's gonna be alright
08:23You'll see the light
08:25Turn around this time and say
08:27Everything's gonna be alright
08:31Reach up high and say
08:33Everything's gonna be alright
08:37You'll see the light
08:39Turn around this time and say
08:41Everything's gonna be alright
08:45Everything's gonna be alright
08:59Thank you!
09:03Hang on, what were you saying?
09:05Blanche, do you want to do it?
09:07Quick thank yous.
09:09We just wanted to say, like,
09:11Beverly has done this from her heart
09:13with kindness tonight, and
09:15it's just amazing.
09:17And, you know, we couldn't do this
09:19without people like Beth and Darren
09:21who got in here tonight, and DJ Monroe
09:23who's also here with Beverly and Beverly's team.
09:25And actually, the whole community
09:27in Swansea, like, Mark and I
09:29just cannot do this without sponsors,
09:31without support, without volunteers,
09:33without putting a lot of effort into things.
09:35But it's all worth it
09:37when we look here tonight
09:39and we see all those kids, young people,
09:41and all that they've achieved
09:43be recognised tonight.
09:45And that's the most important thing,
09:47because without that, we've worked in media
09:49all our lives, and we are sick to death
09:51of content that just isn't about community anymore.
09:53And it's really important
09:55that we recognise that.
09:57And it's so important to us
09:59that we recognise that.
10:01And I know Beth and Hayes
10:03want to say a thank you, but I'm always going to say it.
10:05I'm going to keep saying it.
10:07Our sponsors, Trade Centre Wales,
10:09has been with us from the beginning,
10:11and it was actually Rhiannon and I
10:13who chatted about this idea.
10:15So I want to say thank you
10:17to all of you, every single person
10:19in the room. You're just all amazing.
10:21And I know Mark wants to say thank you too.
10:23Well, he does think that. I'm making it.
10:27I hope you had a fantastic night.
10:29It's been amazing. Thank you, Catherine.
10:31Thank you. You're an amazing voice.
10:33Thank you very much.
10:35What an incredible night it's been.
10:37We've had the honour of hearing
10:39some truly remarkable stories,
10:41reminding us of the strength, kindness,
10:43and determination of the young people of Wales.
10:45Absolutely. Every one of our winners
10:47tonight has shown us that no matter the challenge,
10:49with courage and compassion,
10:51anything is possible. They are the true heroes,
10:53and we couldn't be more proud to celebrate them.
10:55A huge thank you to everyone
10:57who made tonight possible,
10:59from the headline sponsor, Trade Centre Wales,
11:01to all the event partners and category sponsors.
11:03Your support means the world,
11:05especially to these young stars and their families.
11:07And let's not forget
11:09the incredible performances from
11:11Beverley Knight, Amy Wodge, Steve Balsamo,
11:13and Black Mountain Voices.
11:15They made tonight even more magical.
11:17So as we close this year's
11:19World of Wales Awards, we leave with full hearts,
11:21feeling uplifted and inspired
11:23by the future these young people represent.
11:25They're the leaders, innovators,
11:27and changemakers of tomorrow,
11:29and we know they'll continue to make us proud.
11:31Thank you all for watching,
11:33and for celebrating along with us.
11:35We hope you've been as moved by these stories
11:37as we have. Until next time,
11:39goodnight!
