00:00Hello there and a very good morning to you. Welcome to your weather update this

00:04Wednesday morning. Let's take a look at a little detail. Well, as we head through

00:09this morning you can see yet again it's a bright start across the far northeast

00:13of Scotland. Still some residual clouds and some patchy rain across western

00:16Scotland but that will clear. Brighter skies across border regions as well as

00:20Northern Ireland. Then we run into this weather front across northern England,

00:23eastern counties with some rain just waxing and waning. Across the far

00:27southwest these showers just circulating around an area of low

00:30pressure. Yet again it's a breezy day here but the wind's down a notch on

00:34yesterday and the sunshine across Northern Ireland may be replaced by a

00:38bit more clouds as we head through the afternoon. Now to the south of this

00:41weather front we'll see some showers develop northern parts of Wales, Midlands

00:45as well and those showers continue further southwest. In the sunshine places

00:49such as Wales will see 19-20 degrees Celsius. A similar situation across the

00:53north and northwest of Scotland whereas along this east coast a bit cooler with

00:58that cloud as well as that patchy rain and that rain will continue off and on

01:02through Wednesday evening, that's this evening, and overnight as the cloud

01:06extends towards southern counties of Scotland. Now to the south of that into

01:11the early hours of Thursday morning watch out for one or two fog patches

01:15with a light wind and a clearer start to the day on Thursday across the northern

01:20part of Scotland. At the same time this showery rain continues through Thursday

01:24and it may push towards the southwest of Scotland clipping the eastern side of

01:28Northern Ireland. We'll see a little bit of patchy rain just further south and east as

01:32well and showers will develop to the south of this weather front and they

01:36could turn thundery. I'll see you later.
