00:24Positional words tell us where something is located.
00:27So if you look at the picture, the monkey is in different spots.
00:30So when we talk about positional words, that's telling us where something is.
00:37When we use positional, we use positional words when we want to explain where something
00:41is located or when we want to help someone get somewhere.
00:47So maybe you want to tell someone how to get to your house.
00:50You would use positional words like turn left here or my house is behind the Kroger.
00:58You would use positional words to help your friend find your house.

01:08Beside.
01:10The ball is beside the boy.
01:13So what does beside mean?
01:16Well beside means next to.
01:19So I want you to read it again.

01:28In front.
01:30The ball is in front of the boy.

01:40So you might think of who stands in front of you in line.

04:17and that's what makes him between.
04:19Another word for between is middle.
04:22So the bird is in the middle of the cages, or between.

04:43The monkey is to the right of the bananas.
04:46So you have to think of when you use your hand to write words,
04:50do you use your left hand or your right hand?
04:53And a good way to tell the difference
04:55is if you hold your two hands in front of you, try it,
04:58and you make an L with both hands,
05:01the one that has the L facing the correct way
05:05is your left hand, and the other one is your right hand.

06:50Is he above the net, behind the net, or under the net?

07:06You could also say the bug or the net is under the bug.
