IMD Predicts Heavy Rain in Tamil Nadu | Waterlogging and School Closures Amid Intense Rainfall

Chennai experienced heavy rain on October 15 as the monsoon set in, leading to waterlogging in areas like Koyambedu. The IMD has forecast heavy to very heavy rain across Tamil Nadu for the next three days. In response, the Tamil Nadu government ordered schools and colleges to remain closed. CM MK Stalin held a review meeting and advised IT companies to allow employees to work from home until October 18 due to the weather conditions.
