Nexus will ensure extra busses will be provide for Newcastle United’s match against Chelsea.
While Nexus temporarily close major metro line for repair work, they will ensure replacement busses are provided during the course of the five day closure, with extra on match day.

00:42Metro services will still be running as usual in Newcastle and North Tyneside and Nexus suggests those attending the match, if usually relying on Metros, to use the buses to Gateshead Interchange and jump on a Metro from there into Newcastle.
00:56The closed Metro lines will reopen on Saturday 2nd November.
